I've been using this conditioner for the past 6 months now, and I really like that it doesn't weigh my hair down. It also seems to be really benefiting the health of my hair. My hair is on the drier side and this doesn't seem to provide enough moisture. I have long hair and I tend to use a lot so a bottle would only last me about 4 washes.

Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down, adds body
Few products live up to the hype, but this one is an exception. After having to take a med that caused me to lose a lot of my hair and have dryness and dullness in what remained, I really needed help. The regular Alterna, as well as the Ojon restorative products, helped somewhat, but didn't give any body at all. Then I tried this volume conditioner and am delighted to report that it actually does everything it claims to do. My hair has shine and body. It's worth every bit of the price. I had tried so many different things and combinations of products, and this is the first and only thing that solved both the dryness and volume problem.

Quick Take: overpriced, poor results
I got the shampoo and the conditioner and just recently tried it. I find this product overpriced and the results not impressive at all. Conditioner was just so so and had to use a lot and still my hair was hard to untangle. Don't like the scent either. Do not recommend it. I am returning it.

WORKS WELL WITH THE SHAMPOO

Quick Take: natural, doesn't weigh hair down, creamy, good results when used with volume shampoo
At the present, I have no allegiance to any brand of hair product, except for a month Ojon hair treatment which I find to be phenomenal. I've been trying a lot of different things, trying to find what will work best for my long hair. I recently tried Alterna's Caviar Anti-Aging Volume Shampoo and also the Conditioner, and I was very pleased with both. My hair felt very soft and was easy to style. Since my hair (because of the volume and length) takes over an hour to style with heat, even at the salon, I've been rolling it on some jumbo rollers and letting it air dry, so I can do something else while it's drying.
I find that the two products used together give my hair a little bit of extra bounce, and that my hair feels very soft. I live in the hot humid South, and this also seems to give me good control, too. I've been pleased with both the shampoo and the conditioner. It seems very gentle, I like the way it foams, and it seems good for even everyday shampoo, although I try to go longer, at the suggestion of my stylist. With this shampoo and conditioner, I feel I can do that easily. Give them a try - you might be very pleased with the effects. I am.

I'm allergic to everything but this. I love this product in my hair. I think, for me, it works better than any other conditioner I've ever used and I have extentions.

Ok, I swear most conditioners just seem to weigh my fine hair down after time. I have been using this daily now and no problems. My hair now feels silky, no tangles, has more volume and I can use it daily. A little bit of this goes a long way on my medium length hair so this bottle should last a while.

This product used in conjunction with Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Volume Shampoo has been truly revolutionary for my fine, damaged hair. I can't believe something could work so well and not 1) damage my hair 2) irritate my scalp or 3) contain any parabens or other problematic chemicals that could affect your hormones, etc. The shampoo smells a little like grapefruit, but isn't overwhelming (for those who may or may not like grapefruit). My hair after the first three days felt brand new. My hair, at least from the middle of the length to the ends, was extremely damaged due to bleaching it, but after using this conditioner and matching shampoo, my hair feels and looks amazing; it also added a TON of volume. I hated my hair so much because of how fine it was; my hair styles would never keep the desired appearance, but now, I can keep curls without any effort at all. I mean, naturally I use hairspray to assist, but I've never felt so confident with my hair. I hope that this brand can help others as much as it has helped me.

I bought this conditioner along with the volumizing shampoo. I always try to buy conditioner to go along with volumizing shampoo in case the shampoo dries out my hair. I bought the Alterna Caviar shampoo along with this. The shampoo made my hair look like broom straw. When I used the conditioner, my hair just felt heavy and lifeless. Definitely not worth the money.

Compliments the shampoo quite well, takes a small amount, one bottle of conditioner does two bottles of shampoo. Its not heavy does not weigh hair down and non greasy.....Leaves hair soft and full and bouncy great volume and no flyaways

Quick Take: pleasant scent
Well, I’m going to have to say the same thing about this conditioner that I did about its companion product (Volume Shampoo) which is that this is an average conditioner that I just sampled and ended up not purchasing. I don’t believe it’s worth $32 a bottle when I can get something equally as good at a discount store for about $7 a bottle. It did condition my hair so that it was easy to comb through, but it didn’t add volume or make it shiny, etc. It basically just conditioned my hair enough so that I could comb it out while wet and it made my hair smell nice, too. On the upside, it has UVA/UVB protectors, plus it smells great. However, the results were not enough to make me want to purchase it. I ended up purchasing the Caviar Anti-Aging Blonde Conditioner because it was a much better fit for me.

I absolutely love the shampoo (which I also reviewed in a little more detail) and the conditioner I love just as much! It has a nice creamy texture and a great scent. It makes my hair soft and gives it great volume!
I wish it wasn't as expensive! also, because of the creamy texture, sometimes the conditioner clogs up the lid too if I don't use it for a while. =( But maybe I just need to be more careful when I'm using it

I am so happy to have finally found a very nice paraben-free conditioner. I have acne-prone skin with occasional body breakouts, and it took me forever to realize that my past conditioners only contributed to my "bacne" (my old conditioners included parabens). This product, however, has not only helped eliminate bacne, but it is also so gentle and creamy that it leaves my fine hair soft and bouncy. This product is one to certainly purchase.

Alterna Caviar conditioners are AMAZING! I love this one and the Moisture conditioner. This is very moisturizing, you only need a small amount and it smells very fresh and clean. It adds very natural fullness to my hair without being stiff or giving it the "fly away" effect that happens to my hair with any other volumizing conditioner I have used on my curly hair. I don't nesessarily need extra volume, just a little boost which this gives me. The results might be more dramatic after I use it a few more times. What I like most about this conditioner is the incredible shine it gives my hair! I have heard that Alterna Caviar makes your hair glisten and it is really true!
