Love This! Prevents Lash Fallout!

Quick Take: conditioning
I really like this mascara. I've used at least 4 or 5 tubes of this mascara already. I've taken a couple breaks from it to try other mascaras but I always come back to this one despite the price. It doesn't help me magically grow more lashes (no mascara can increase the number of hair follicles on your lids), but it helps me keep the ones I've got. Over time, lashes fall out less and they grow longer. There are some cons to this mascara though. The lid eventually does not screw on properly. This has happened on every single tube. It's kind of annoying but not a problem. It has a floral fragrance that doesn't bother me, I quite like it, but it could be problem for those with sensitive eyes. Also, it can clump sometimes and doesn't really work better than a cheaper mascara at volumizing, curling, defining, etc, but it still works very well. Despite some of the negatives, I still love this mascara, especially for its lash conditioning properties and will continue to use it.

Quick Take: clumpy dry and too expensive
I had received a sample of this mascara in a previous purchase and liked it but the full size has a different applicator and is clumpy. Ver disappointed as this was very expensive. Not sure why the samples are different but I won't purchase this again!

Quick Take: simple coverage
I gave it two stars because 1. it isn't as "high definition" as other mascaras I've tried, it doesn't add much volume, 2. I thought it is a bit clumpy on my lashes and 3. I've had a bad experience with my top, at times the divider that is in between the top and the tube has pulled out with the top (the brush was completely full of mascara and lost some product due to the mess it made when I tried carefully putting it back in the tube.)

Great, easy to remove mascara!

I've been through at least 8 tubes of this mascara over the past few years, and I keep going back to it bc I like the lift, length and volume it quickly gives.
It also washes off easily, which is great for me bc I lose less lashes (I think that's the point of the built in conditioner, however, I don't think it enhanced the growth of my natural lashes.)

Quick Take: unreliable
I have been searching for a replacement to Lancome's defincils mascara for years. I keep using it because for the first week it's amazing. After a week, it dries out and clumps. Sometimes though it lasts longer. I think Lancome has a quality control issue. If you're lucky enough to get a good tube, it's a great product. If you're not lucky, well, then you get clumps and lots of them. Buyer beware.

I found it tended to make my lashes more clumped and spiky than I prefer (I have thick lashes, it might be great for more sparse lashes?), but my friend actually noticed "how amazing" my lashes looked without me having said I tried a new mascara...so the jury it out (and my search for a better product continues)

I wasn't impressed. It flaked off and was a hard application because there was an over abundance of mascara on the wand. Even after wiping the wand off it just wasn't worthy compared to the original Definicil. I love Lancome mascara and stand by it, so it was by no means the worse one I've ever used but definitely not the best.

Great product. Makes my lashes longer and in better condition with repeated use. Does not feel hard or clumpy on my lashes. Does not irritate my eyes like so many other mascaras can do.

Lancome's mascaras have the best wands in that they are all long and therefore, make them easy and comfortable to apply. My daughter things this mascara smells like champagne....and since champagne has a subtle, pleasant scent, that's a good thing. porduct is great for lengthening

This is a great mascara and it has great coverage. It goes on well and lasts all day. I just wish a tube would last longer. That is my only negative thing to say. I do recommend this mascara.

it really does volumize and lengthen, but most asian people like me have straight lashes. this mascara doesnt really curl, but thats ok with a eyelash curler. also, this flakes after around 5 hours for me.

Quick Take: flaky, slightly irritating
This mascara, to its credit, does lengthen and define lashes, but that's where the "pros" end. It started flaking immediately after application, and continued to do so--in abundance-- throughout the day. Also, if you have sensitive eyes like me, Precious Cells may make your eyes red. I haven't had much luck with the Lancome line of mascaras (Hypnose was an absolute DISASTER for me). I'm going to stick with YSL and Givenchy.

Quick Take: higher end version of stileto by maybelline
Great product. Brush is exactly like maybeline stileto red box masscara, its a great cheeper alternative. This doesn't flake all day I was supper surprised. Has an identical feel to the stileto including volume and aspiration with out clumbing. It holds the curl pretty well but I think it doesn't beat the hold Dior gives. Also needs lots and lots of coats for same coverage u get from Dior. Overall great.

Quick Take: fantastic
I have been using this mascara for years. The cells version of Definicils definitely helped make my eyelashes longer and of course you get the separation from the definicils. The great thing about this mascara is it is easy to remove with Lancome eye makeup remover.
