Love this liner -- it goes on so smooth and lasts all day-- it's a keeper! I boutht the brush applicator as well and highly recommend that item along with your purchase.

Nice but just okay for my oily skin

I really like the gel consistency of the eye liner. Went on smoothly and made great cat eye liner and thin or thick lines depending on what look and what brush. However since I have oily skin, I feel like it tends to still smudge or run at the outter edge or crease of my eyes toward mid day. I started to switch to liquid which I find stays better on my lids.

Quick Take: long wearing, glides on
I bought this becuase of all the good reviews and because my sister recommended this to me. I love how it glides on so easily and it stays where I put it. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is beucase my eyes tend to water up and get teary becuase of my allergies and when that does happen, this eye liner does disappear. It may just be my eyes that do that but over I will continue using this for my upper eye lids but for my lower lids this eye liner just wants to go away when my allergies kick in. I do love it though and I would totally continue using this product. Don't forget the gel eyeliner brush by Bobbi Brown, it makes putting this on that much easier~

"Precision of a liquid liner," I think, is a bit of a stretch. I suppose that also depends on the brush you use - I am using an angled eyeliner brush like the one that comes in a lot of sets, not the angled eyeliner brush that's really thin and points towards your face. Perhaps application would be more precise with that.
This goes on smoothly and makes it easier to apply a thin line in comparison to a pencil. It's also lighter weight and doesn't irritate my eyes. It is very smudgeable, but the problem with that is that it sometimes smudges while you are applying. And if you make a tiny mistake and go to remove it, it's more liable to smudge all over than actually come off. So go slowly with this.
Overall, a good gel eyeliner. Not sure if I would purchase again, though, over a less expensive brand.

I bought this and was very skeptical. Didn't use it for 2 weeks and have never tried a gel liner before. I never thought I'd get a nice, thin, perfectly straight line like a sharpened pencil. So wrong! It's amazing, looks so much better than a regular liner...I can make the line perfectly thin, thick, whatever I choose. Being 38, at work when I'd look in the mirror my bottom liner always ran a bit into the creases beneath my eye, and I'd wipe it off many times per day. Since this is waterproof, no wiping, eye drops during the day don't make it run. Amazing! I won't buy anything else and want more colors!!!!!

Quick Take: huge disappointment
I ordered what appeared to be a roller ball eyeliner.
It came in a small pot with no way to apply it. I phoned and was offered the option to return it but no help in applying it.
It did make a smooth line with my brush the first time I used it, but the brush clotted and was nasty to use for the next application.

Love this gel eyeliner. stays all day, even on my oily eye lids. only thing is it dries out my eyelids if I don't wash off after my 10 hour day. still good purchase though

This is probably the 3rd time I've bought this eyeliner. It lasts a super long time as you only need a very little. This is truly a stay put eyeliner! Once set, it will not smudge during the day. It goes on very smooth and does not tug. I purchase it in black and really like how it defines my eyes. If you are looking for a great stay put eyeliner, I would highly recommend this!

This eyeliner goes on very easily. I can do a sharp or soft line with an eyeliner brush, and it will stay JUST LIKE I APPLIED IT until I take it off at night! I can smudge it (or not) when I put it on and it literally won't move after that. I wish there were more colors. I plan on getting the purple next, but my local store is always out of it. I can see why!

New to gel liners

This is my first forary into gel liners. I had a little trouble getting the gel onto the brush, but once I mixed up the gel a little it worked a lot better. The cobalt ink is a gorgeous color. With the thin Sephora brush and the blue Sephora mascara, it is a beautiful yet subtle effect. Very pleased.

This is the longest wearing eyeliner I've used to date, however, I'm still searching for the perfect eyeliner. I like its subtle effect, as well: it's not harsh-looking like liquid eyeliners can be and it's easier to apply. I find I do have to layer it on before I get a nice solid line, this even with the Bobbi Brown brush.

I tried this eyeliner when it first came out years ago. I was not a fan then, but I figured millions of people can't be wrong so I recently purchased it again and I am sold! I have bought very eyeliner out there that claims to be "long wearing" with no luck . It's pricey, but with all of the money I have wasted on other products I could have bought every BB color ten times over.

I have two colors and love them both , very easy to apply with the right brush. Longest lasting eyeliner I've tried.

I've been through scores of eyeliner trying to find one that stays put and doesn't get smeary as the day goes on, especially in hot weather, Nars, Smashbox, Buxom, you name it. This one actually does it. I put it on in the morning, and I'm done, I don't need to run to a mirror every few hours and fix raccoon eyes. It took a little practice to get the hang of using a brush, but I love the precision, and that I don't end up accidentally putting too much on. You can use a little or a lot, it's really up to you. You can smudge it when you first put it on, but the beauty of this is that it looks good already. And it also doesn't irritate my eyes; practically everything else does - FUN (not), so I'm really happy about that too. It's the one beauty item I take with me wherever I go.
