I bought this in Soft Sand which was recommended to me to match my Bobbi Brown foundation, but I really think I would prefer Sunny Beige. The yellow/white translucent makes me look a bit ghostly and the powder really sticks, so the color is important. Does work at reducing shine, but make sure you get the right color!

I have combination skin and am always looking for products that will keep me shine free for as long as possible throughout the day. I put this on after my tinted moisterizer before bronzer and it leave my skin, matte, smooth and without shine all day. Since I've been using it I haven't had to reapply throughout the day at all! This is the best product I've found to help keep my skin look matte and fresh all day! I'm obsessed with it! Go buy it now!

This is my holy grail powder, I use the loose version but it's the same formula as the pressed. I love that they have both options, even thought Sephora doesn't carry the loose version. This powder is very finely milled and never cakey. The finish is a very natural finish (not too matte). It's a very light powder, so if your looking for something to bump up your coverage this isn't the one (these are nearly translucent). However it's perfect for those who simply need something to set their makeup and lock it in. It never breaks me out, It never fails me. Highly recommend.

I switched to this powder after the brand I was using became discontinued. This powder goes on really light and makes my skin look nice and even. It feels like I'm not wearing anything but it looks great!

This powder did nothing for me. Expected so much more from Bobbi Brown.. all their other products are great. This powder in the darkest shade made me look washed-out. Would not recommend this product.

This powder is great, smooth, goes on even. The coverage is light and it lasts most of the day. The pad to apply it works well. My skin is pretty fair and though this blends in pretty well it is a little too orange for my skin tone. I might try a different shade when i need more.

I've been a long time user of Bobbi Brown products, especially the sheer finish pressed powder. I use it over a light foundation and it makes my face look perfectly even toned yet natural. It works when I have a tan and my skin is a bit darker, and also over lighter foundation in the winter months. It's a year-round gem! I'll be a lifelong lover of this amazing quality product.

This powder surpassed my expectations. I have extremely oily, sensitive skin and this powder did not cause breakouts. Previously I was using Mac Blot, however, it clogged my pores. So happy with the switch!

the powder gives a nice natural finish and also keeps my skin pretty shine free for most of the day. a lot of powders i have used make the skin look dry and dusty but this one makes foundation look like my natural skin because the powder is so fine.

Love the finish, does not make my face look powdery. Prior to trying this, I would have to use blotting papers at least once a day during my lunch break. This powder has really helped that and I can get through a day without any blotting papers. Unfortunately I didn't order the right color, but am going to try again and will definitely keep using this powder.

This is the smoothest powder ever!! This is the best setting powder. It controls shine, it gives the most beautiful finish, it feels like silk on your skin, and it is just amazing. I like to apply it with a puff and use a power brush to brush over my face. Then I set it with a finishing spray, and my makeup lasts all day. Bobbi Brown makes the best face makeup for asians because they actually make things with yellow undertones. And this powder does not make you look flat. However, it is so expensive!! But it is worth the price!

I am blessed with good skin and an even complexion, but wanted something to brighten and accentuate the smoothness of my face.
This product is amazing--I look completely poreless using this and Smashbox's primer and it stays on all day, not to mention that my face feels incredibly soft and looks like it is glowing.
I'm very fair with pink/yellow undertones and blue eyes; I picked Sunny Beige and it blends in seamlessly to my skin tone.

This is the best pressed powder I have found. Don't be afraid of the white color, it disappears quickly, and it suitable for many skin colors. If you are trying to figure out what shade to choose, this will work for everyone except very dark skin tones. It's fantastic!
