A good OPTION to consider:
-05.05.13
Quick Take: soft bristles
The bristles of this brush are of very fine quality. However, this brush soaks up more product than I would like considering the price I paid for an individual brush. A streak-free finish is possible with this brush if product is applied sparingly, using short strokes. To be honest, brushes that function equally as well can be found in brush sets. You simply don't need to spend this much money on a single brush in order to get a liquid foundation brush of this quality. However, it is a good brush.

Love then Disappointment
-05.18.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair, don't recommend, disappointment, quality doesn't last, bristles dry
For a few years I have been intrigued by this brush. When I saw it in stores it looked so beautiful and felt so soft. fas forward to 2012. Long story short, I bought it and I worked well for the first two weeks, blended beautifully and felt great on my skin, but I had to give it a washing every couple of days. I used the Bobbi Brown cleanser to do this. After two washings, the brush bristles completely dried out. I wanted to continue to love it. I guess for now I will search for more

Heaven thy name is bobbi brown!

I love love love this brush. I have used a dozen different foundation brushes, sponges etc from different brands. I have tried using my hands even, and can never seem to get a smooth even finish (no streaks, cakiness etc). This brush is a little miracle worker. Finally I can apply foundation with ease and confidence. Keep in mind, you have to use very short strokes. And because I used bobbi's skin foundation with this, I had very little blending to do, so that may be a factor for you as well. All I can say is that it is worth every penny to me.

Great overall brush! But..
-03.19.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
Really, a great brush! The brush is relatively fool-proof. Densely packed bristleals with just enough give. It does not absorb too much of the foundation, made helpful by the tri-synthetic bristle layering. This method is a bit more time consuming as it has a smaller brush head than a rounded stipple brush.. so if your using waterproof foundation you will want to do one cheek at a time with the stiple effect! The brush is very well made. There's almost an opaque look in the fibers of the wooden handle, better than I anticipated. But ultimately I need a brush with a widerbit head & more coverage so I have more time!

M new best friend in makeup
-03.06.12
Quick Take: soft bristles
I have never used a foundation brush but got tired of buying wedges, etc. I tried just using my fingers but felt the coverage wasn't even so I researched brushes. I love this brush and am using less foundation now. Give me great coverage without being too heavy. Brush doesn't absorb the foundation, which allows iit to apply the foundation consistently day after day.

Best in Show
-01.27.12
Quick Take: soft bristles, natural hair
I've tried them all, and even Sephora's brand--who typically creates a worthy adversary (for the price) didn't even attempt to stack up. Bobbi is the master of brushes and this is absolutely no exception. As long as you wash with Bobbi's brush cleaner the is divine. It makes putting on my foundation--whichever finish I'm using a sheer joy. If you can only buy one brush...this is it.

great tool
-01.20.12
i use this to apply Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer as a foundation. Allows better control of amount used. Less is better when applying foundation and this brush helps smooth it out and keeps foundation from clumping.

I've been told by every person I know to skip foundation brushes and use your fingers because its more sanitary, it blends better with warm fingers, and looks more natural. Maybe I like that it is more coverage, but in any regard, I love the way my foundation looks with this brush and don't mind washing it. Overall a great brush that blends really well.

ok.
-12.09.11
I think this brush is ok. It is great quality, and doesn't feel cheap. I just don't feel its amazing. I find the best way to use this is to dot foundation section by section with fingers first, then use the brush to even in out. Go in different directions, or else it will look streaky. Not sure if its worth the price. I force myself to use this brush because It was to expensive to just let sit in my makeup box.

The perfect foundation brush
-11.06.11
Quick Take: soft bristles
Especially to apply Bobbi Brown foundation, This brush is very soft and if you apply BB foundation with it it gives you that perfect glow. If you wah this with Bobbi Brown brush cleanser it is as good as new.Seems built to last if you take care of it.

I've never used a foundation brush before this one. I like the way it works, but I think I need another one so I can trade off because I think these should be washed every day.

Love it!
-06.14.11
Quick Take: soft bristles, easy to clean
I had been using the Sephora Professional foundation brush but thought I'd make a change since the Sephora one was a bit thicker and seemed to use a lot more foundation. I love this Bobbi Brown brush since it is thinner and easier to clean than the Sephora brush.

Best Brush for the Money!
-06.09.11
Quick Take: synthetic hair
This foundation brush is absolutely the best. I originally purchased this brush about 5 years ago and after daily use and regular washings, the brush and bristles held up for all 5 years. When it was finally time to replace my original, I had no hesitation in repurchasing this brush. Foundation is a breeze to apply-- flawless and no streaks!

Smoothness and Coverage
-04.16.11
Quick Take: soft bristles
Love this brush. It really does a great job with foundation. I had never tried Bobbi's cream foundation, so I go the foundation and added the brush. Glad I did. Another tool to add to my arsenal! I really love Bobbi's brushes.

I recently purchased this product after using the Lancome foundation brush for years. I never knew how much of a difference this would make. It makes my makeup glide on smooth and leaves me with a flawless coverage. LOVE LOVE LOVE :)
