Quick Take: medicinal musty clinical-smelling
I read the reviews before purchasing this scent without smelling it first, and I was convinced it would evoke that wonderful summery smell of suntan lotion. Well, it smells like the very old, medicinal smell of sunscreen and not like tropical Banana Boat that reminds me of the beach. Didn't have to think twice about sending this one back. If you want to smell sunscreen, just go to the drugstore and buy the real thing.

I have long wanted a fragrance that reminds me of coppertone...my favorite smell....this is it!!!! Only complaint would be that the scent does not last. Will definately buy again though. Received many compliments from the very first day I wore it. If you love the smell of beach/summer, you will love Beach!!!

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value, refreshing
I LOVE this perfume for the summer! It really does remind me of the beach and a tropical vacay. And my boyfriends loves it because its not too "flowery". It does tend to dissipate a little quickly but overall, definitely one of my summer staples.

Not sure if this is really a "perfume". If you just love the smell of Coppertone, then this is for you. Of course, you could just buy the sunscreen too.

Quick Take: light scent short lasting
This fragrance really does capture the "smell of summer". It would get a solid 5 stars if it had a little more lasting power. I layer the lotion, body oil AND fragrance just to make it last. That gets expensive...so if you want a light beachy smell, just get one of the products & be prepared to toss it in your purse or try to find a "fragrance pen" version if BB makes one.

I absolutely adore this scent. I hope it never changes or gets discontinued. It makes me happy and relaxed, and it definitely reminds me of the beach. The only downside is that the scent fades very quickly, and it is a bit pricey.

I still give this 4 stars. I like it. Weird. Considering that it reminds me of tanning products like Banana Boat Tanning Oil or something. I used to live in Miami and use the Sunscreen and tanning products a lot, so know this smell very well. But none the less, it still reminded me of being on the beach and I like it.

I'm in love with the sent of sunscreen anything that reminds me of summer! I stumbled across this at a Sephora in SLO, Ca and was in live at first smell! I did not buy it, but my husband surprised me with it on our anniversary, I'm so glad he did! I hope it never gets discontinued.

I've tried other perfumes that were inspired by the beach, but I've always been disappointed. Not this time! I love Bobbi Brown's Beach perfume! It calls to mind sunscreen, but not in an artificial, chemical way. It's subtle and light and wonderful! This will be my new daily standard.

I'm going to start by saying that Summer is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it, the warmth, the sun, and yes, the smell of coppertone suntan lotion. That is EXACTLY what this perfume smells like. So, this perfume is perfect to me. It smells pretty strong when you first spray it, but lightens up pretty quickly. It smells like a day at the beach, sunscreen and ocean air.

i love the way this stuff smells. it makes me feel really fresh. every time i use it i get told how good i smell(only if they are up close, don't use too much). glad i can now buy it at sephora. makes my life easier than having to go to a Bobbi Brown counter.

I so love this scent. It is amazingly fresh and pretty for every day. I only wish the line would add a lotion and body spray for layering and longevity. It's great to be able to buy at sephora.
