Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I have never really bought expensive foundation before. I didn't really understand until I bought this what the extra $$$ is for! Ever since I started wearing this I have gotten nothing but compliments on my "great complexion" and "perfect skin." I have the same skin I've always had and never had compliments like that before purchasing this stuff.

Quick Take: bobbi bown foundation warm almond 6.5
I have finally found the perfect foundation. The foundation I used previously (by another company) was discontinued and I was devastated. As consumers we never get any kind of warning and I think that is the worst thing a company can do to a loyal consumer. I stopped at the Bobbi Brown counter attracted by the deep tones and familiar colors. The foundation was a perfect match and I have found the eye shadows and lipsticks to be perfection as well. So at this point I am a convert and very proud to be so. I get many compliments on my makep and some from makeup artists as well.

I bought many bottles of this. I'm between fair and medium and 2.5 matches my color perfect. I use a foundation brush to apply it and it goes on smoothly and blends nicely. Will continue to buy again and again.

I tried this to compare it to the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, and I have to say, I prefer the Skin Foundation. I know that this one is supposed to mattify, but it just ended up making me look slightly chalky/powdery when it dried. I don't have oily skin, so if you do, this might work better on you. The Skin Foundation looks like bare skin when it dries.

I love this foundation ! it really is long lasting.. the first day i tried it out i wore it for 11+ hours and it looked exactly the same as when i put it on (no melting off).. it keeps my oil controlled & looks like my skin but better! i 've always had problems with foundation caking but this does not. i am in the color porcelain #0 , it matches perfectly & i am a NW15 for reference : )

This is the best foundation I've ever found. I'm a 40+ year old with combination skin. In the summer, I get extra oily. I can wear this foundation all day for 12 hours, go for a run, and still have some on and look decent. Now that it's getting warmer, my skin gets only slightly oily. Be sure not to get a color that is too dark for your skin. I'm used to getting the 2nd lightest color in a foundation series, but I get the warm sand 2--4th or 5th lightest. In the summer I may ever need the next darkest color. The only negative I can say is that the foundation only lasts me for 2 months max. It's pretty expensive for how long it lasts, but it's worth it.

This foundation is absolutely wonderful. Light for summer, which I like, and does not break me out. It's also non-greasy, and lasts a long time (about 9 hours). Couldn't ask for more!

what attracted me to this foundation is the promise of a matte finish, which i have yet to get. the coverage is very minimal, but goes on well. i love bb make up, buti won't buy this product again.

I have fair skin and bought the Alabaster color....it looked like I had rubbed chalk all over my face! It just really gave me that washed out, even paler look if that's possible! And I even bought the Bobby Brown Pressed Powder to wear over it, which didn't help. The foundation was thin and not buildable at all in my opinion. Based on all the great reviews I really thought this foundation would work out. But I guess not...
At least I can go to Sephora and get a refund. This is way Sephora is my favorite place to shop!

This foundation smooths my skin and makes it look flawless without looking overdone. It blends easily and provides coverage that is effective yet not overly thick or mask-like. The color range is amazing; the Alabaster shade is just perfect for my (very:) pale skin. It doesn't wash me out, just makes my skin look pretty. Thank you, Bobbi, for adding the Alabaster shade - I won't buy anything else now!

A Natural Dewy Look

Quick Take: sensitive, natural look, dewy finish
I had been searching for the right foundation that wouldn't cake on and would accentuate, not hide my skin for the longest time. I have a lot of freckles that I love on my face. I got this foundation in Porcelain and I have never been so happy with a foundation! I apply one small pump with a standard foundation brush and it gives me a dewy, natural look that lasts through the day and lets my cute freckles shine. The SPF is definitely a plus for me because I tend not to like moisturizers that have SPF in them for they burn my sensitive skin. However, this foundation is very mild and does not cause my skin to act up. If you are looking for a foundation that is natural and does not upset the skin, this is the product for you!

I was previously using Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua foundation and I really liked it (same price as BB), but I wanted a non-heavy foundation w/a little more staying power. I wear #30 in beige in Chanel and I purchased natural 4.0 in BB which is a good color match for me. I have brown hair & brown eyes w/ight-med skin with olive undertones (& some freckles). So far so good. The color doesn't "darken" throughout the day like some foundations do on me. My face looks brighter. I do wear MUFE HD powder over it and I don't have too much excess oil throughout the day. So far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Long lasting, matte. It is thick and the color is a little more rich but don't look too "made up". I am usually warm almond 6.5, but had to order golden because it is too red. I hope the golden works because I like the finish and coverage.

In my very long history of buying cosmetics, I have never been able to get a foundation that looked good with my somewhat ruddy complexion. This one does! I do use the concealer first, then the foundation, and finish with a powder. My skin looks natural and dewy, and the look lasts all day.
