Quick Take: very sticky
This lipgloss is amazing. I choose to wear it alone, and it is great and subtle for day to day use. It is very, very sticky like most Bobbi Brown lip glosses.

Let me explain. A lot of reviewers call this sticky. That may be so, but I think this lip gloss works best not as an all over gloss. Use it over another darker or complimentary gloss of lipstick, but not on the entire lip. Try using a small amount on the middle of the upper and lower lips, where they are naturally the fullest and do not rub your lips together after. You will have a serious pout and not notice it as sticky.

Staying Power!

Quick Take: brightening
I bought the Pale Icy Pink color. It's a very sheer color, which is great because I think the goal of this lip gloss is just to 'brighten' your lips.
Very, very sticky. I noticed this immediately as I rubbed my lips together. But the stickiness could be what gives this lip gloss staying power. It stayed on for several hours!
The packaging is very sturdy. I like the wand. It picks up just the right amount of gloss from the jar, and distributes quite well on lips.
Would I buy again? Eh....not sure. Sticky lip gloss is a huge pet peeve of mine. And I've bought lip gloss from other brands that aren't sticky. That was the only downfall to this otherwise, fabulous lip gloss.

I love the sheer pink color. But I too find it to be sticky... I put up with it though b/c the color is pretty and seems like it lasts pretty long too. It got 4 stars for being sticky.

Moisture and shine for hours

I bought my first Bobbi Brown Brightening Lip Gloss about 2yrs ago and I liked-disliked it. I found the formula too sticky but I still used it because even in very low temperature it kept my lips sealed and moisturized and it kept the glossy shine for hours. Many many many lip glosses from so many different brands I think this is one of the best glosses I have ever had and I bought a second one and will sure get more of these I just wish Bobbi Brown came up with more colors and shades. This lip gloss literally infuses my lips with moisture and ¨kind of locks the moisture into my lips so they feel full and plumped.

wow...i could not be more disappointed with this gloss. the consistency is very sticky, and the gloss goes on clear! there is absolutely no pigment to it. i really didnt want to spend $23 for clear, sticky lip gloss. I had to return it immediately. I will not purchase bobbi brown lipgloss again

5 STARS FOR THE GLOSS, BUT THE BRUSH IS AWFUL

Quick Take: moisturizing, not \sticky when applied with my brush
I'm not a big fan of any lip products. If I could go without them, I would, but I need something to balance out my eye makeup. Friends are always giving me lip products they think I'll like. Bobbi Brown's Brightening Lip Gloss in Pink is an okay gloss, designed to whiten teeth, and to provide an optical illusion of fuller lips. Since none of the glosses with plumpers ever work for me, something like this, that creates an illusion instead of actually plumping has my vote. The problem here is that the brush isn't very good, so I dip my own lip brush into the tube. This means that eventually, I'll have a mess as my brush must go deeper and deeper into the container. Using my own brush means that I can apply it slightly lighter than the application I'd get with the yucky brush. I'd just give up on it except that the gloss does look good on my lips so for the time being, using my own brush is working. I would have given this five stars, but the brush issue, and the inconvenience of having to continuously clean a brush detracts from the usefulness of the lip product, so I had to take off stars for that problem.

I love this gloss. It has a slightly blue hue which makes teeth look extra white. It also goes over lipstick beautifully. I highly recommend it!

Bobbis glosses are slightly sticky but thats awesome for lasting power!
These glosses are amazing. As I get older I feel I just look better with lighter makeup and these colors fit the bill perfectly and help to light up my whole face. LOVE them!!

I'm a big bobbi fan, but I hated this line of her lip glosses. For one, I felt that the gloss was too think, and second, the brush bristles started almost from the beginning to get messed up from putting the brush back into the container. Hello, bobbi brown! This is a problem across the board for almost all of her glosses!

Love the gloss, but the brush applicator? Not so much. The gloss lasts, moisturizes and just looks pretty. I bought Popsicle on a whim, worried that it might be too bright or frosted. The effect, however, is subtle. Love it.
