Quick Take: lightweight
this cream goes on well and your skin feels great the first hour but then wears off and leaves my skin dry. i have to reapply mid day. i think its too pricey for doing absolutely nothing

I got this face base hoping I could use it as a makeup primer and moisturizer in one. Its perfect as a base, but I need to use a moisturizer under is also. The smell could be better, it reminds me of a citronella candle. But thankfully the smell does face after applying your makeup. Overall, I like it a lot, just wish it smells better.

This product smells wonderful and feels so good on my skin. It's a perfect balance of nourishing yet not heavy. I am in love. I just wish it had SPF.

Quick Take: moisturizing, lightweight, oil-free
I love using this cream everyday. Since my skin varies, I really love using this face base prior to applying my Dr. Jart BB cream. It helps create a smoother application. Also, on weekends I enjoy putting this on before a basic concealer and bronzer application. It just does a great job of giving my skin some moisture while not feeling greasy. I love the texture and the scent!

Quick Take: truly works especially for dry skin
I have been searching for a hydrating face lotion that wont clog my pores and this is the one. I actually got this as a recommendation from a makeup artist where I live. I have very dry skin (KP) and it works wonders for people who cannot maintain moisture. I don't know what else to say other than it's FINALLY the product I will repeatedly buy because it works. It has significantly improved the appearance of my KP as well.

I bought this for the first time several months ago. It did the job for me so I just bought it again. It works well and only once in awhile do I still find an occassional dry area on my chin (my main trouble area for dry patches). The container is a great value too....it lasted about 4 months. I only use it in the morning before I put my foundation on for going to work so using it more frequently would obviously use it up more quickly. The texture is a bit thick but creamy and the light lemon scent is a plus!

Smells Great, Absorbs quickly, but not hydrating enough for my dry skin on its own... :( If I use a heavier moisturizer first and let it soak in and then apply this more as my "primer" then I like it.

I love that this product has so many beneficial ingredients but it is not for oily skin types. I have used this product alone and under makeup and I felt super greasy. It does have a lovely smell to it.
I will try using this product again in the winter. The spring/summer weather can be having an effect on this product.

Wow! This is the best cream I have ever tried!
Works so good on my combination skin. The texture seems too thick but sinks into skin so quick. Use this day and night and under my makeup. I don't like using the same product for a long time, but I think this going to be a staple of my skin care routine. I have already thrown all other creams away :)

This is the second time I purchase bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base. It may be pricey, but will last a long time as you only need to use a dab of cream for your entire face to attain a smooth finish! I will definitely repurchase again and again.

Beautiful moisturizer. Contains vitamin c which can irritate sensitive skin. Great for dry skin. I cannot use this product. I am acne prone, and it makes my break outs worse.

I purchased this to use mainly as a primer but have also realized how hydrated my skin feels after each application. It leaves your skin with a nice dewiness. I use this before foundation and with my BB Cream. It just makes everything go on smoother.

My face has been very dry this winter, and the Vitamin Base was just not moisturizing enough for me..right now. This cream smells really nice and went on smooth, however, even over moisturizer, my skin felt very extremely dried out. As a base, it didn't make much of a difference. I returned it and switched over to L'occitane Fabulous Serum and Cream and have gotten results.

i just love this face cream! The smell, the creaminess, it absorbs like a dream. I swear my face looks wonderful. I tried it first at the Bobbi Brown makeup counter and I finally broke down and bought it from Sephora. It is expensive but I will purchase it again. I was concerned it would be too heavy applying foundation over it but it absorbs completely leaving my skin plump and so moisturized. I received the Mia cleanser for Christmas and between these two products my skin looks NOTICABLY smoother, younger, blemish scars are disappearing. I looked in the mirror the other day and was surprised because my skin looked like I had applied foundation and I realized I hadn't! Wow! Wow! Wow! Love This cream!
