Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I am not very familiar with Bobbi Brown products but when I heard of this hydrating gel I decided to give it a try. I have extremely oily skin and I use this at night before bed or in the morning and it makes such a huge difference. It is so refreshing and just makes me skin look and feel so healthy. Love it.

Quick Take: lightweight
This is one of the best moisturizers I've used. Yes, the product is a bit pricy compared to the ones that I've used (Biotherm, Clinique, Kiehl's, etc), but I am willing to pay $55.00 for this! It's lightweight, nonstick yet hydrates. Although it is too lightweight and dries out quickly in winter, it can be used in spring, summer and fall.

Lightweight Moisturizer

What I love about this product is that it's a nice moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling supple, without the heavy, oily weight of others that I've tried. It goes on smoothly and seems to absorbs instantly, so my skin feels light and fresh. It's also a great base under my BB moisture rich foundation. And the smell is fantastic--very light and fresh without being overwhelming. Huge fan of this product.

My skin is more combination these days, however, I have to be careful with what I use due to sensitivity issues and the fact that a little goes a long way with skincare on me. This stuff works good for when I feel a little more on the dry side. It's lightweight, yet does the trick.

This cream does exactly what it promises to do. I loved the way my skin felt and looked after using it. Unfortunately, after a few days my skin became slightly irritated and itchy. The "botanicals" didn't agree with my skin. Also, it has a light fragrance.

Most of the time my face becomes really dry in the afternoon even though I put lotion on in the morning. After putting this on in the morning and then Laura Mercier's Tinted Moistureizer, my face stays hydrated till after work.

I like this moisturizer a lot. It was recommended to me by one of the make-up artists at my salon. I tend to have dry skin that also breaks out in patches around my mouth. Since starting to use this in the morning, I have not had any new breakouts. In a few places that are extra-dry, I supplement with the Bobbi Brown EXTRA Face Oil.

Love this cream! My skin gets extremely dry during Utah winters especially after topical acne treatments ( it's almost peeling) and is prone to break outs and sensitive at the same time, hovewever this cream gel helped me alot. It's light, perfect under make up and soothes the skin..

I’ve ordered Bobbi Brown skincare products for some time and I’m so glad that I can now buy them from Sephora. I tried this cream some time ago and decided that I prefer Bobbi Brown’s “Vitamin Enriched Face Base” much better because it is better suited for my oily skin. Even though this gel cream is water-based, it is still too heavy feeling on my extremely oily skin. It has vitamins and good ingredients for my skin so I wanted it to work, but I began breaking out after using it for about a week so I returned it. It does have a nice texture so that my makeup looked very smooth overtop of it, but the “Vitamin Enriched Face Base” works just as well with my makeup and is lighter on my skin and doesn’t cause any breakouts so I have used it instead of the “Hydrating Gel Cream” and it’s worked great. I think this is a good product, but it just didn’t work on my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin.
