Not Good...at ALL!

I bought this for my husband for a Christmas gift (online) because we LOVE the original The One. HUGE mistake! Smells nothing like The One and reminded me of Old Spice or something. We ended up taking it to our local Sephira and exchanged it for Versace por Homme which is AMAZING! Do not buy this expecting it to be anything like the original The One.

You're not going to get a super strong heavy feel with this one. I can really smell the lavender in it and should be worn by a man who is confident in himself but not interested in being the center of attention. Love!

Quick Take: good value
This is a great fall/winter scent. I get compliments on the scent constantly. I recommend the scent for men 30 and over. It may be a little to sedate for the younger guys.

I wanted to re-review this cologne. Although initially I didn't find it 100% appealing, it has definitely grown on me. I still don't find it to be perfect for casual wear on a summer's day, but it performs well in the evenings. The dry down is great; kind of a caramelized vanilla and wood scent. If you're looking for a great evening scent that will have those nearest to you getting closer, then give this one a few tries. I think it will grow on you too.

Quick Take: warm, spicy, autumn scent
I would have rather rated this 3.5 stars, but that was not an option.
This smells very similar to D&G The One at the beginning, but changes after the first 5 minutes. The smell is very spicy in the beginning, but then it smolders to a nice blend of warmth and spicy. The scent maintains the spicy quality for about 4 hours and subsequently has a caramelized vanilla and wood-like quality for the rest of the day.
It is not very versatile. It is good for the fancy dinners, date night, formal occasions, and maybe some business meetings. It is not the best daytime scent. Definitely not great in hot, humid weather. In my opinion, best for the autumn season.
No one has ever commented on the scent, which says to me that they either do not like or cannot smell it.

one of my husbands favorites!

my husband received some samples of this cologne with an order i placed from sephora and loved it. i purchased him this bottle for valentines day! he was so excited! he is the type of guy who owns as many colognes as i have perfumes(a lot!) but he wears this one a little more than the others. the bottle is also very nice and classy.

i bought this for my boyfriend for valentines day. i fell in love with the scent in the store, so i'm hoping he loves it too. i liked it way better than lt blue which that scent came off more feminine to me.

Alright so how do i begin to describe this fragrance... I am very tempted to say that this fragrance is utterly repulsive, not because it is, but rather to keep this amazing fragrance a secret so that every other guy doesn't smell like me. In my opinion this fragrance is AMAZING. This is the ONE, my signature scent.

Quick Take: sexy and sophisticated
I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday after he tried it in our local Sephora and fell in love with it. It makes him smell so good and I always find myself giving him extra hugs just so I can take a whiff. The One Gentlemen has very similar underlying notes to my "go to" perfume (mine is sweeter and more feminine of course) The two scents complement each other so well that when we go out and people walk by us they often stop us and tell us we smell amazing!

Smells great on my husband - no headache for me

This fragrance is one of my favorite that my husband wears. Certain fragrances give me really bad headaches, so to find a fragrance that my husband likes (and smells great on him) that does not give me a headache is sometimes a challenge. This is one that works for both of us. It is not to overpowering, and the lasting power is pretty decent. This is the second bottle I have bought for him, and will continue to repurchase.
