SEPHORA by OPI Chic Prints For Nails Holiday Edition

What it is: A breakthrough array of precut nail patches for extraordinary nails, instantly! What it does:This innovative line, developed by Minx (and loved by your favorite celebrities), creates customized nails, featuring fierce patterns and prints to satisfy your wildest mani-and-pedi dreams. Dress your tips with your favorite festive design: red- or gold- metallic patches with a cute golden bow. Or a shiny silver color with a lovely snowflake print. What else you need to know:One set of Chic Print for Nails contains 16 nail patches of varying widths, for a one-time application to fingers or toes. The nail patch is a solid-film material with an adhesive back that is activated by friction. The warmth from friction creates conformability, allowing the patch to fit over the compound curves of your nails and seal onto the nail bed. The patent-pending material removes easily by rubbing and peeling off.

how long are your nails
-01.15.13
Quick Take: upside down
These are cute but the bow would have to be at the bottom unless your nails are as long as the sticker. Would still look nice though.
These work very well and will stay on between a week and 10 days providing you put them on correctly. The most important step is cleaning your nail off before applying.

Fun
-08.19.12
Quick Take: fun
I like to play with these on my nails and my seven year old daughter's. We like to do an accent nail and then paint the rest to coordinate. And I got these really cheap on sale, so can't complain.

Unpleasant Surprise
-06.01.12
Quick Take: difficult to use, impractical
I was so excited for these nail patches!! I'd had my eye on them for a while and finally decided to get them. I had never used them and so maybe I did something wrong but they turned out terribly. They ripped when I tried to file them to my nail and only half of the prints actually fit my nails well (the rest overlapped on the sides and looked tacky). After a day I ended up peeling them off because they kept getting snagged on my clothes and I couldn't get rid of the rough edges. I'm sorry they didn't work out for me but I don't think I'll be buying anything of this nature again.

So not worth the $
-12.17.11
Quick Take: tacky cheap looking
doesn't smooth out well, the top edge by your cuticle bed puckers. Looks too much like you glued paper on your nails. Would love to return em.

Great product!
-12.15.11
Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying
These are so fun! They take time to get the hang of but are worth it. I am awful at painting my own nails and dont have any time to get them done so these are a great alternative. You will get a ton of complements too. People have even stoped me at the store to take a closer look. The price is a little high but i will buy them again.

These are soooo hard to put on
-12.14.11
Quick Take: chip resistent, fast-drying
I consider myself an expert in these, as I have put on several different brands, even on a 2-year-old's toes. Other brands break off with your nails, or the file, but these you have to CUT to fit, which takes a really long time, and it difficult to do. I recommend using a nail clippers. The plus is that they just peel off when you are done with them.

Fun once you get the hang of it
-12.08.11
Quick Take: fun
Got these on sale and I tried these out tonight. The trick is heating the sticker to pretty hot (I heated them in front of our fireplace) and then applying them. So much fun and no waiting for my nails to dry! They look great on short nails and if trimmed properly can be used twice.

Don't use scissors or a file on these. Put the curved area near your cuticle and press them into place. Once you are happy with the placement push firmly down all over the nail to be sure they are stuck solid all over your nail. Then mold the extra down over the edge of your nail and press it into the edge of your nail all the way across, the extra will now be pointing down. Gently pull downward and the extra will come off. Press firm around the edge of your nail again and they will be perfectly placed with no rough edges.

I love the ideas of this and I also love how you can achieve looks that you can't get with regular nail varnish, esp this amazing platinum silver which is totally trending right now. However, the downside to this is that after you file it down, it's still rough around the edges and catches on my clothes and occasionally scratches me. Also, if you don't press it down onto your nail fully, it starts to lift a bit around the edges of your nails which is annoying, but nothing a little clear polish underneath can't fix. I didn't buy this the first time around because the original price of it was $15, but the next time I visited Sephora, I got it on sale for $5! I'll only repurchase this if it's on sale for $5 again. Would not pay $15 for this.

Pretty for the holidays
-08.12.11
I bought those stickers because they were on sale. They look very pretty, but I'm not planning to use them now: that's summer and they are Christmas-inspired. So I can't judge if they are good quality, easy to put on and long wearing, the only thing I can say is that they look good in their package and I'm happy I bought them!

This nail sticker is not one of my fav... the color is nice but because the texture looks so much like paper , it doesn't look good on your nails...

CHECKK THESE OUT - PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAYS
-07.02.11
Quick Take: long wearing, fast-drying, buy now for holidays 2011 (on sale now)
Chic Prints For Nails are currently on sale. If you'd like some really neat holiday nails, you should consider buying a set or two and putting them away for the holidays. The red patches with gold bows are show-stoppers, and will make your nails a holiday conversation piece. I'm picking up a few for stocking stuffers. They apply easily and each set comes with a variety of widths so they'll fit almost all fingers. They can also be used on toes. They're easily removed by peeling them off.

Good if you have steady hands
-05.25.11
Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast
These have no dry time and wont chip for a good while. Due to some confusion I will say that you do NOT need to cut these. Put it on your nail with the curved side facing the cuticle and use and nail file to file the end off. No need to use scissors and try to cut it to the right size. If you don’t have steady hands and have no one to help you try getting an all over pattern (not something that needs to be in a line like French nails) and it will be hardly noticeable.
