Quick Take: coconut? huh?
I had initially written a review of this product that I didn't like the scent - not coconutty at all, but more chemically. I read all of reviews again and some people said they didn't like the scent initially, but then once on the skin, it was "heavenly." So I gave it another try. It is now 15 minutes later and NOPE - it still stinks. Another reviewer said it smells like play-doh. Exactly. Pungent chemical, actually think play-doh smells better. Something is either wrong with the tube I received or the reviewers who think this smells heavenly haven't tried Lavanilla's fragranced lotions and perfumes. Try the vanilla gardenia. MUCH nicer than this icky Pacifica coconut nectar wannabe.

Quick Take: strange scent, slightly greasy, doesn't smell like coconut at all, not worth the price
Not sure why this lotion received so many stars - I didn't think it smelled good at all. Doesn't smell like coconut in the slightest - more like a chemically smell. This has shea butter in it, and I'm starting to find that I don't like the scent left behind on my skin from products with shea butter in them. Maybe it's just my chemistry, or maybe I got an old tube of lotion that had turned? I've had much nicer coconut and tropical fragranced lotions from other brands. I would definitely only purchase the $5 tube to see if you like first - the bigger size would be a disappointment. At least I'm only out $5.

This is one of my favorite scents of all time. It is also one of the few things I can wear because of my allergies., and does not bother my sensitive skin at all. All of the products in this collection smell amazing and are creamy and rich and make my skin feel great.

Quick Take: scented, rich
I originally got this as an impulse buy in the check out line, the coconut-vanilla smell and the great price were hard to pass up. It's always in my purse/backpack, I use it daily. I'm on my second bottle now, which is a big deal for someone like me who rarely empties a bottle of lotion! Pacifica has other great smells too, so if super sweet scents aren't your thing then you should check out their other lotions and products as well!

This lotion is amazing..I used it all last summer. Whenever I was sunburned I would put it on my skin and I never peeled. The lotion soothed my skin. Love it.

This is by far the best lotion I have ever tried. I love the smell but even more importantly it is very moisturizing. I use it on my legs and it just stays on all day and leaves my legs really smooth! Buy it and you will not regret it.

Quick Take: delicious, light moisture
I only bought the travel size so I'm not too disappointed. I ended up giving it to a friend at work because it just wasn't enough moisture for me. I bought it to carry around and put on my hands and arms throughout the day should I feel dry but all it did was make me wish I was at the beach because of the smell.
P.S. I live in a very humid climate so I'm really not even that dry.

Quick Take: delicious, aromatic, tropical
I'm a coconut lover, so this is perfect for me. This lotion has the perfect blance of the tropics and vanilla. Besides the fact that it smells great it has a thick and creamy feel so it's great for moisturizing after a long day of sun or a shave. It's a perfect summer smell I take everywhere!

This is the one that got my started on Pacifica body butters! $5 impulse buy at checkout; love the scent as it is not over-bearing. I use this on my hands before work and it works great considering I work with paper and money all day which leave hands very dry!

I was really sold on this after I flipped the top and got a whiff of the AMAZING smell - so I jumped and bought it. When I tried it out later, I was kind of surprised by 1. - the color / texture and 2. - the scent. The texture, don't get me wrong, def feels like a body butter, but I was expecting something a lot more thick & luxurious. And though the color truly doesn't matter, for some reason I was pretty thrown off by the muddiness. But I'm OCD like that, LOL.
The scent most definitely does not smell the same once applied to the hands. It smells really really washed out, and alot stronger ( and yummier) in the tube. But, I can't say I hate this product, I just wish it lived up to my expectations. The pretty packaging is def a plus, but I wont by this again. Luckily I purchased the smaller size!

Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly
This body butter is awesome. It smells great (but it's strong, so avoid mixing with other fragrances) and is really hydrating on rough, dry skin. I also like that it's free of a lot of potentially harmful chemicals.
The cream is thick so I find it easier to put small dollops on the area I'm about to apply it to and then rub it in rather than squeezing a bunch into my hand and then rubbing it in like I normally do with lotion. That helps it last longer.
