Great Mask

This product makes my face feel velvety smooth after using it. As a mask I love it, but as an exfoliator it doesn't do the job. I like to exfoliate when my face gets super dry and starts to peel. I have this problem often because of all the tretinoin creams I've been using to treat my troubled skin. So for a mask I give it 4 stars as a exfoliator I give it 2. ExfoliKate is the exfoliator of my choice!

Skin feels wonderful after

For the price I thought it was a little pricey because it is a small tube. I know it says use once a week but I have extremely dry skin where I get dry patches of skin so I need to use this more than once a week. I haven't had a problem with it leaving my skin dry or with a film and I use Sephora's face cream in the jar after and my skin feels like velvet. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the size and price and because I need to use this more than once a week to keep up with the dry skin problems. I did notice Sephora has another exfoliator that is does double the work and its in a jar and looks bigger. I think I'm going to give that one a try this time around.

Quick Take: intensive, gentle
This def works. After just using this one time I time noticed a difference on how soft my face felt. I'm still on the fence on about the price. I thought $18 dollars for the size of the bottle was a little too much but I guess if you just use it once e dry skin me I can see myself using this more than once a week. I think i'll be using this two-three a week just to keep up with out dry my skins gets. I use this and than use Sephora's face cream and it works amazing together. I guess the price it not that bad when there are other brands that are twice the amount. I just thought the bottle was small for what you get. Also, I didn't find it to rough just abrasive enough and it has a pleasant smell.

Hi ! I've found that this exfoliator/mask is good for morning, before makup, or at the end of the day. It seems to help with enlarged pores, and does not leave your skin dry or irritated. I've been a long-time fan of "Sweep" --- but Sephora's is just as good. I just wish that it were available in a larger size.

Its a gentle scrub that will get the job done. However , it's fragrance is a turn off and after you rinse, it leaves a residue feeling.

I have a skin care routine that I love, but I wanted to amp up my exfoliation. This works beautifully and its quick. Leaves you skin looking polished and fresh. Its not abrasive or aggressive.

Quick Take: better for oily/combination skin, deeply cleansing
I love the fact that this is a 2-in-1, but I could do without the dry skin afterwards. It seems to clean very thoroughly almost to a squeak, but if you do not moisturize immediately, skin feels dry and tight. I have dry skin anyway so I wont be using as much as they reccommend. Works well with the Sephora daily moisturizing cream with SPF

but i feel like i can find better at the same time.
first of all, the smell is so relaxing. i wish more things in life smelled this pretty. maybe not a deal breaker, but definitely something i LOVE about this product.
second, i fell in love with this the first time i used it. the second time wasn't as great, but still i liked this product. when i finished my sample, i bought the actual bottle. and i want to buy it again.
i have acne and need a strict skin care regime to maintain a non-pizza face and i'm happy i found this. don't get me wrong, cleansing is at a minimum just as important as exfoliating (or more), but exfoliating is one of those things i've never really bothered with that is also important.
sadly, i feel like i use too much of it. i know the bottle says to use it once a week, but i like to use it three times a week (every 2-3 days). i don't feel like it irritates my skin, but my skin is already reddish, so i haven't noticed a difference, other than the smooth feeling left from the exfoliation.
sometimes i feel like i break out from using it, but i think that's just because this opens my pores and lets out what is gathering inside, which is a good thing.
it's pretty gentle, with a grainy texture to it. i find the best outcome is from rubbing it in lightly in circles (but still able to see that i have something on my face) and let is sit for five minutes. (i used to do ten minutes, but i didn't want to over exfoliate since i was exfoliating so often). my skin feels soft immediately after, but within a matter of minutes i like to moisturize because my skin is dry.
i'd definitely recommend this as a regular exfoliater, but i'm not in love.

Quick Take: effective
I've tried lots of exfoliators, and I wasn't overly impressed with any of them. I thought the grains in this one felt slightly rough when I first applied it, but after the recommended 5 minutes when I washed it off, it felt like the grains had melted. My skin felt velvety smooth, and I really like the mild citrusy scent. I just wish it came in a larger bottle!

Quick Take: gentle, very soothing with a light fresh scent
I went to Sephora to look for a product similiar to this product that Philosophy carried only to find that they had discontinued it (Philosophy no longer makesit). A sales associate recommended this and I love it! It is gentle and my skin feels great afterwards! Thanks Sephora for a GREAT product and a very helpful staff at the St. John's Center store in Jacksonville, Florida!!

I was told to use this once a week by the skin expert at Sephora. It seemed to make my skin smoother and didn't cause drying. My pores looked smaller. I'm hoping it will help my clogged pores, but I may need to give it more time.
