Best eyeshadow primer

I got this when I ran out of my other eye primer and I wanted something a little different. I LOVE this eye primer!! I use it everyday! It adds the right amount of shimmer and a little goes a long way. I would buy this again when I run out. And the product will last a long time to.

Quick Take: crease resistant
Okay, I know I know.. The cap is gold, I should expect gold. I was expecting a shimmer, but not as much gold, so in the end it was too much gold for me. However, it does work excellently as a primer. My eye shadow did not move! You have to spread it fast though because it does not spread easily once dried...which means if you don't like the amount of GOLD good luck trying to thin it out. You'll have to wash it off and start over..

I have been using this product since I first started really wearing make up. It makes all the difference in creating a perfect and lasting eye. It is easily one of my favorite products. With its light shimmer, you can even use it for a little effect on days you dont wear eyeshadow.

Quick Take: shimmery, drying, accentuates imperfections, not for dry skin
I was really excited to try this eye primer. I am not a big fan of the UDPP, it's just too drying. Well this seemed to do the same thing. I guess most people have issues with oily eyelids, well I'm hoping that I do better with a different primer. This one I can see would be nice on oily eyes if you want shimmer. It also really shows through your shadow, it makes shimmery shadow more shimmery (which might be what you're looking for) but also shows through some on matte shadows. This was a big letdown. Still in search of a eye primer that works for me. I'm 36, I could see loving this at 20.

I asked for an eyeshadow primer that would be flesh toned or clear. This is what I was handed and want to believe the lady just grabbed the wrong box. I didn't realize it till I opened the tube and a goldish eyeshadow primer squired out onto my finger. I put it on my lids and it dried to a gold color. I returned it immediatly and got the regular one which does dry clear.

Love It!!

Love this Shadow Primer. I have used others that dried and cracked on my eyelids or even burned my eyelid skin which I thought was quite odd. This product is light, a little goes a long way and makes my shadows stay put all day. I even like it alone for just a light wash of color when running errands and don't need full eye makeup.

This does pretty much what it says it will and the shimmer is nice; it keeps my shadows on and prevents them from creasing. However, I still prefer Benefit's primer because it is skin-toned so it doubles as a primer you can use under concealer.

Great primer - works well as a shadow

This primer is great! I had the standard Too Faced primer, and love it. My best friend recommended this one for a little extra sparkle, and I absolutely love it! It works well as a primer, and I use it as a shadow from time to time. I would suggest using just a little of it, as too much can make you look crazy, and there is a lot of shine to this primer.

Although I love the effect this product has on the back of my hand I can't seem to get the right balance on my eyes. Also, it separates in the tube & I keep getting just a clear liquid that comes out at first. Makes me think the primer isn't going to do what its supposed to do by the time I get to the bottom of the tube.

A little bit goes a long way!

The most important thing to bear in mind when using this primer is there is no need to be heavy handed with it. I love shimmer, so I opted for this one rather than the original. I feel that the shimmer, while lovely, changes the texture that I had become accustomed to from the regular shadow insurance. It's not a horrible change, but it's less subtle than I prefer. If you are a go big or go home girl with your eyeshadow, you have found your perfect fit. If not, opt for the regular too faced shadow insurance :)

As for me I have combination skin and it works really well. I prefer this primer over urban decay's. This primer makes my eye makeup long lasting and my makeup more flattering. I don't get any creases, makeup stays on as if I just applied it.

I love how this primer performs, it gets my eye makeup to last ALL DAY. I would repurchase because it gets the job done REALLY WELL.
Only con is that its a bit to sparkly. It says its illuminating but its so pigmented that it can be used as an eyeshadow if you are in a hurry.

On the fence here. It does a nice job at holding shadow. Problem, and maybe i misinterpreted the product. It's gold glitter primer. Looks like a sparkly shadow. I thought it was going to brighten shadow, not be straight up glitter. Unfortunately I can't bare to return makeup, just in case. I am able to use this, just not what I was expecting

My eyelids get greasy fast, and I've tried just about every primer out there. This has a slight shimmer, and is pretty enough on its own. It holds eyeshadow really well, and I find myself not having to use as much eyeshadow.
