Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Bath & Body Collection

What it is: A bath and body collection inspired by fresh figs and the French patisserie. What it does: Inspired by her French upbringing, Laura brings an authentic approach to the bath and body category, believing that fragrance is a personal signature. With the Fresh Fig Body & Bath Collection, she has created playful, yet decadent and sophisticated formulas inspired by the aura and aroma of the French patisserie. Honey Bath is a foaming, honey-scented bath that leaves skin feeling clean, fresh, and moisturized. Body Wash is a gently scented cleaner that creates a creamy lather and leaves your body nourished and fragranced, feeling smooth and moisturized. Scrub is a polishing body exfoliator that gently sloughs away dead skin cells, leaving smooth, radiant, polished skin. Souffle Body Creme is an ultrawhipped scented body creme that provides luxurious all-day moisture protection without being heavy or greasy. Hand Creme is a super-hydrating, deeply penetrating scented creme that comforts and soothes hands, leaving skin moisturized and velvety soft. Eau Gourmande Spray is an eau de toilette that truly captures the essence and flavor of the patisserie scent and is the essential finishing touch of your fragrance regimen. What else you need to know: Fresh Fig is a sweet, fresh, intoxicating scent of gourmande ingredients including the indulgent essence of fresh Celeste figs blended with dewy fruit bouquets of apricot nectar and sensuous ylang ylang to create a rich, luxurious scent unlike any other. The smooth, creamy notes have a soft sweetness, while the subtle green, earthy elements add an unexpected but very appealing element.

hand cream
-03.25.13
I bought the quarter of 4 different laura mercier scented hand creams. fresh fig was my least favorite. it was still nice, but a little more fig tree than actual fig fruit. it has a bit of a leafy smell that i'm not a huge fan of. i love the other scents laura mercier has come out with however.

Very moisturizing

I got the body butter. The initial smell is quite strong, but faints to a fresh light scent. And very moisturizing.

Souffle Body Cream
-08.01.12
I purchased this for my mother in law and she loved it soo much. She has dry skin and it didn't leave her skin feeling too greasy and the scent is very soft. She has allergies and loves Laura Mercier's products. Definitely worth the price.

luxurious
-02.11.12
Quick Take: lightly scented
The combination of smell, texture and how soft my skin feels after using this product is nothing short of perfect! I plan to get the skin souffle and cologne. The first time I used any Laura Mercier product was in Las Vegas, waiting for a massage. There were two flavors of skin souffle, and I was hooked. Clean, minimalist and elegant packaging. I just love this product.

This smells SO yummy!
-01.10.12
Quick Take: scented
I received a sample of this at a local Laura Mercier counter and fell in love with it. It's creamy but not greasy, and the scent is lovely. I ordered 2 tubes so I'd have one at work and one at home.

Nice fragrance

Quick Take: scented, hydrating
Love the fragrance. It is soft and not overpowering. The hand cream really hydrates my skin. I use this at bedtime to pamper my hands.

Not bad for on line only
-12.23.11
Quick Take: scented, nice summer fragrance
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars on this rating, but I kept the perfume and use it regularly, so obviously, I like it. I was quite hesitant to buy an on-line only perfume I couldn't sample in the store, but I'm familiar with some of the other fragrances in this line, so I took the leap of faith. That said, the fragrance doesn't really smell like Fig. It's subtle and a little on the sweet side, but not flowery or powdery at all.

Its a hit with the guys
-12.12.11
Quick Take: scented
I received this collection of products in the Fig as a birthday gift. I tried out the body creme today, and got into an elevator. The men went NUTS. I got several compliments, so I will definitely be sticking with this scent! Its feminine without being too sweet. Very sophisticated.

Different
-11.11.11
When I first purchased this product (Fig scent) I liked the way it smelled,as did my husband. Yet, I'm not so sure now that I've used it a few times.
It's not overly sweet which I like, but the lasting power didn't seem to stay as long as the Pistache. While it's a nice cream I don't think it justifies the cost. There are other fragranced body creams that LM carries, that in my opinion are more of a justifiable splurge.
I may be returning this.

This smells so good. I usually get the creme brûlée but wanted to try this for a change. I really love this scent and it still the same great product.

so-so
-08.10.11
Quick Take: scent so light i cannot smell it, moisturizing
There's nothing special about this cream that warrants the $55 cost except the name. It's undoubtedly nice, you get a good amount of product and it feels like a luxury item. But I have A LOT of lotions and body creams, high and low-end, and there's nothing uniquely fantastic about this cream for me to keep it so I'm returning it. I can't really smell the scent either and that's part of the fun of a luxury body cream for me, the lingering scent, and I just don't get that with this product.

HAND CREME - EXCELLENT HYDRATION LASTS FOR HOURS
-05.31.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, long lasting effects from hand creme
I got Laura Mercier's Fresh Fig Bath & Body Collection Hand Creme as a grab bag gift at a recent baby shower I attended. I honestly had no desire to try these products, because I really don't care for figs, although I don't remember what they smell like. Since the Hand Creme was a gift, and I didn't want it, and I was going to give it away. However, someone at the baby shower wanted to try it, and it would have been inappropriate to refuse. So we tried it. I was surprised at the smell. It was a somewhat sweet smell, although this also has white sweet almonds in it, so that might have been what I smelled. Instead of trying to define it, I'll just say that it smells fine, and it left my hands well hydrated, with a residual effect even after I washed my hands. It's worth trying.

Unique Scent
-05.07.11
Quick Take: scented
– To be honest with you, I have no idea how much this smells like a fig. I’ve never smelled a fig. This is, however, a fantastic scent that I find hard to describe as it is more complicated than other fig scents that I have tried such as the one by Korres. This is somehow rich and earthy while also being sweet. Lasting power of the hand cream is few hours for scent (depending on hand washing) and about 2 hours for hydration.

Fig body creme
-02.01.11
This smells very nice. I have layered the creme with Benefit's Rita fragrance, Pacifica's Fig and Marc Jacobs Fig fragrance. All 3 go nicely with this creme. The creme is long lasting too.
