Quick Take: soft bristles
LOVE this brush! I use it with Laura Mercier finishing powder and it sets my makeup nicely. I have OILY skin, so this product (both brush and translucent powder) really help to hold things together.

This is my 1st review ever. I'm a big LMercier fan. When the makeup artist@ Sephora used& described this brush when showing me LMercier finishing powder, I thought I would just use my kabuki brush. By, was I wrong. Not only does this brush help you put on the appropriate amount of powder, it helped to not waste your powder. Made my 2nd purchase of LMercier finishing powder(which I love as well) last FOREVER. thumbs up!

Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair, natural hair
I love to use this brush when using a highlighting powder or my Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. The bristles are soft and the allow you to apply just enough powder. The only downside is the price. I expected this brush to be just like majority of fan brushes I have seen (when it comes to size), but I was a little disappointed to pay $30 and then recieve it in the mail and realize it was quite a bit smaller than typical fan brushes. I have come to realize that I am happy with the size because it allows me to perfectly fit it under my eye and such places that bigger fan brushes may be diffcult, but I feel that it is overpriced about $10... Other than that, I love the brush!

Quick Take: alright if you like thinner brushes
There's really nothing wrong with the brush I just prefer to have a full, fluffy powder brush. I felt each time I used it my powder was not set evenly.

i looooove this brush! i use it to apply mineral foundation and the invisible loose setting powder and it makes my makeup look flawless. what i like most about it is that it picks up the right amount of product so you're not putting too much on your face. it is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for: a great quality brush.

Nice brush I suppose. Recently learned you can go to art stores and purchase nice brushes without paying for the name brand. I am glad I have it for the invisible powder. Powder brush would apply too much.

THIS IS A MUST USE WITH THE LOOSE SETTING POWDER. IT IS GREAT FOR A LIGHT DUSTING AND WONT LEAVE HAIRS BEHIND. WASHES GREAT.

I use this brush with my nars amour powder blush and its so soft and since nars blushes are very highly pigmneted this brush applys just the right amount of product to my face.

I purchased this brush to use the LM setting powder. It really helps to apply it smoothly and does not waste as much product as using a powder puff or fluffier brush. You can get into the corners around the nose and along the hairline very easily. As all good brushes it is too expensive, thus, removing one star.

This fan brush applies bronzer nicely, much better than the fan brush by Sephora. There is a plastic fan shaped holder to hold the brushes shape. Perfect!

if you use a translucent powder, u must use a brush like this. It is soft and the perfect shape to lightly apply the loose powder. I would give it five stars if it were a little cheaper.

Quick Take: soft bristles
This brush accomplishes something special: avoiding the caked-on powder look. It really does leave you with a feathery, natural finish, that allows for a light, yet effective coverage. It is a little difficult to use with small containers, because the brush is wider than the container, which can cause a bit of a mess, so I would suggest dipping one half of the brush at a time in the smaller powder containers. Love this brush!
