The Alterna Bamboo Smooth products are perfect for my baby fine, color-treated hair. The conditioner is lightweight, does not damage my color and leaves my hair frizz free without adding weight.

Quick Take: great for fine hair, has a very nice scent
I've been looking for a good shampoo and conditioner that doesn't contain any sulfates, but also leathers well and has a nice scent to it and there it is- Alterna!!! It's by far, the best product I've ever used. My hair is fine and tends to get oily at the roots, this conditioner doesn't weigh my hair down, but keeps it from being frizzy:-) Love, love, love it and I will keep on buying it. Thanks Alterna for creating great hair products without the harsh ingredients;-)

This worked good, pleasant smell and kept my hair manageable but I found a drugstore brand that is $14 cheaper and gives me the same results so I will not be repurchasing.

Quick Take: like butter!
I purchased this when I also purchased its shampoo counterpart. While I had never paid $40 for shampoo AND conditioner combined, I did easily recognize the difference in my hair. It leaves it Super soft and eliminates a lot of frizz.

This was the first conditioner the Sephora associate recommended at the store when I explained I wanted something smoothing for my frizzy hair. I love it! The scent is light but sweet, and it does help to keep my hair "tamed" along with the Josie Maran oil after towel drying.

I have frizzy, thick--grey, that is colored-- hair that I try to keep sleek. After having used the Alterna dry oil mist to tame the frizz, I decided to try the conditioner. Wow, this does keep the frizz in control and the hair style sleek. It's a very noticeable differnce.

Love Alterna...but not this

Oddly...I liked the sample, but the full sized bottle is no better then any store bought conditioner. (Now...I LOVE the Caviar shampoos/conditioners & Kendi oil). I wanted to love it, but didn't. I have to use a lot & it yet it never seems to really make my waist length, color treated hair, manageable. By contrast, with the Caviar...one just needs just a little bit, to make beautiful hair. Will not buy again.

This is by far the best conditioner I've come across for my curly hair. I've tried Mixed Chicks, Miss Jessies, this is the first that conditions but keeps my curls bouncy. Love it

I love this conditioner. I love the smell and I love the lack of harmful ingredients. I think it works at keeping my hair smooth however I have had a keratin treatment on my hair so I'm not sure if its the combination of the 2 that keeps my hair looking great or not.

This shampoo is thick and looks very conditioning...but it not that good as i expected it to be as i have already used Alterna caviar shampoo and conditioner and they were amazing but not this ...one other thing i have noticed is my hair has started falling out more than they used to before...so i am going to see how this goes or this product goes back to the store.....

I tried a sample of this conditioner and loved it! Smells great and really leaves my hair soft and frizz-free. I was disappointed with the small size of the bottle but I don't need as much as other brands I've tried. It rinses clean. I have long, thin hair that tends to frizz and with the Bamboo Shampoo, it's a great combo for eliminating frizz! This is my new favorite!
