The answer to dry skin!

I have tried many different facial creams and lotions for my dry skin. In the past I have still suffered from flaky skin in the winter months. Last year I found Peter Thomas Roth Ultimate Creme in a Tube and have not had flaky skin in 18 months! I love it! While it is very moisturizing, it is not heavy or greasy. I highly recommend this product.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive
One of the ladies at sephora suggested this for my skin. I couldn't be happier with this product. It leaves my skin feeling soft & hydrated. I've noticed a huge difference in my skin. I usually have issues with anti aging products breaking my skin out. This one how ever hasn't made me have any break outs since I have been using it. I will def be buying again!

I really like a lot of things about this creme. It is very smoothing, seems to make skin look younger, and soften lines a little. The texture is very thick, a bit like lubriderm cream (not lotion). I use it only at night, over my Chantecaille Vital Essence serum (hydrating serum) and then a sunscreen moisturizer in day. After several days of use, it feels like it doesn't quite hydrate my dry skin enough, so I use my ultra hydrating Shiseido bioperformance revitalizing cream once a week and that seems to balance it out, so I'm hydrated by not greasy.
I have tried other creams since first using this, but I keep coming back to it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not quite as hydrating as I'd like it be on it's own...but sooo close.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I know this is meant for anti-aging but I've been having really dry skin this winter and nothing seemed to help. This moisturizer works well except that I did break out the first couple of days. I started to use it a bit less and combined it with RetinA and it works great now. I also love the pump on the tube. It's much more hygienic than the jar creams. // It doesn't leave a skin or feel greasy in anyway. It absorbs very quickly as well.

Overall, I think it is very good for dry skin. It is moisturizing. I don't see evidence that it is "tightening or that it diminshes lines," but maybe I will see those effects over time. I like very much that it is in a tube rather than a jar, it is fragrance-free, and that packaging is minimal,

Quick Take: hydrating
I've been using Retin-A daily but it can make my skin dry and flaky. This moisturizer works great. I only use it at night but it really hydrates my face. My dermatologist says PTR has great products so I'm sticking with it.

I have some areas of dry skin on my face and using this combined with the PTR pumpkin facial scub has made such a dramatic difference! I love using this creme..it really is the Ultimate Cream in a Tube!

I've learned that for a flawless finish to your makeup, you must start with the perfect moisturizer... This is it! Kiddos to the PTR team, I've used PTR for over 5 years. My only regret is that it hasn't been 25 years!

Great for Dry Hands

I recently extensively traveled through places with a cold, dry climate. I have dry skin to begin with, so my skin got even drier. I needed some sort of hand creme for my extremely dry hands so I tried this in the store. Once I rubbed this creme into my hands, the appearance of my hands became noticeably less dry. In fact, they looked normal. This has quick results and lasts several hours.
I don't use this on my face because I have really sensitive skin.

I have very dry skin, and while this moisturizer definitely addresses that issue, it leaves behind other, far worse, issues. I've had terrible breakouts since I started using it- and this is incredibly unusual for me. Also, because it is so thick, you have to use quite a bit to cover your entire face...but the results are a shiny, yucky mess!
If I hadn't bought this at a store, I would return it. But there is no Sephora in my town, so I'm stuck with it.

Best Moisturizer - Love It

Quick Take: deeply hydrating, skin softening
This cream may seem a bit heavy, but my dry skin needs it. I use Unwrinkle Night and needed a day moisturizer.
I've tried many other day moisturizers to no avail. This product works. Certain flaky patches are gone. Moisture is maintained throughout the day. My skin feels very nice and soft, as well.
I will most definitely repurchase this excellent cream.

Quick Take: moisturizing, good for severely dry or sensitive skin
This is my holy grail of moisturizers!
I was pretty much in tears when I ended up at my local store and the awesome sales person suggested this for me as I have very dry and flaky skin. I thought I would try it and I am THRILLED with it. I've had it for a few weeks now and my skin no longer has any flakes, is very soft and smooth, and overall has a totally improved appearance.
I only need 2 1/2 pumps once a day (sometimes twice if I wear heavy makeup and need to wash at night which is rare).
I've not had any issues with this product and will be buying again in the future!

Quick Take: heavy consistency, leaves shiny appearance on skin
This product is much heavier than I had expected and does not absorb well into the skin. I tried it as a facial moisturizer for several days, thinking that perhaps I just needed to learn how to use it. However, the cream consistenly felt unpleasantly heavy, and, worse, it left a shiny film on my skin regardless of how much or how little I used. I am using it as a body cream, in order to get my money out of it. Definitely NOT recommended.

i"ve been using clinque but my skin is extremely dry lately and I'd have dry patches not long after applying my moisturizer. I went into Sephora looking for something better and this was recommended to me by a mua there. Though I'm not having the flakes it takes alot of product to cover my face and my skin kinda looks oily. For the price I expect to be more satisfied

love this moisturizer!! my skin is rather sensitive-this agrees with my compexion completely! at first I thought I needed a lot because I was used to slathering on moisturizer to combat dryness but I've found I only need a small amount. it keeps my skin silky smooth all day! and I use it after cleansing at night too!

I had to return this. Not enough mosture for dry dry skin. I would have used the whole tube in a week if I continued using this with enough product to moisturize my whole face. I wanted to like this.
