great value, great coverage

Quick Take: good value, travel size, small, good coverage, messy
This is my first try with Bare Minerals and I was mostly pleased with the results when I went through the process this morning. The only downsides were that I found it to be messy in general with powder puffing up when I tapped the brush and closed the containers, and also that it left my face looking a little wrinkly, even though I don't have any wrinkles to speak of. I wonder if using primer beforehand would have helped this. Today I tried out the concealer under my eyes, the regular foundation, and mineral veil. I was very skeptical but the coverage is beautiful and the "light" color worked great with my medium-yellow skin. I have some redness on my nose and cheeks and at first it looked yellowy in those areas, but the mineral veil fixed that. I think it's because it has some vague pink color in it.
I recommend getting a shade lighter than you normally would, because this is a little dark. Overall, really happy with this purchase and I'll keep giving this a try. I might end up buying a full size version!

This kit is phenomenal as the rest of the line & skincare are! I have been addicted since it first came out as TV ad's late at night & NEVER got more compliments. Sometimes when I am in the store people think I work there because I knoe quite a but about the products & just HAVE to let them know they would be missing out on something amazing - unlike any other makeup!

i had great coverage with this foundation. The matte is my favorite because I have an oily face. The mineral veil was also wonderful, the only problem is with any mineral foundation you lose powder during the application process

This kit is great for learning what matches with your skin tone & it's also affordable price plus you get ur brushes 4 application. Always gift one 2 my mother & she just LOVES it>can u believe she LAST a year~crazy right. I also buy 1 of these kit 4 me so that I have back-up stock when I run out of a full size. 2 buy time until I can re-order or wait until I need 2 buy a bigger kit.

I mainly wanted to make sure this was the correct color for me. Yes the product is small, but what do you think you are getting for $20? I think its perfect to keep in a travel bag and really great for the prive.

I hope they get this product back it is so great. I feel it was made just for me,It has all the basics, covers great and looks so natural on me. I love the mini brushes,they are just so adorable. I actually purchased another kit just for that reason alone. The only regret I have is that I only purchased two. This is a must have kit in my opinion.

I just love this mini all you really need kit. I feel it was made just for me...This make up and bisque are the best make up for my fair and sensitive skin,covers great and lasts a long time I ordered 2 kits, one for my sister and another for myself. I went to order another one for my daughter but they are still out of stock. I have to say this kit is so well worth the money,works wonderful and love those mini brushes. Only wish it came in a little bag to keep it all together. this is a ten star product kit. PLEASE get more in stock. And if I were you I would buy atleast two kits, yes two,you will love it.

Worth a try

Bought this from the website a while back and discovered I probably have the wrong shade. Go to the store and get matched. Watch the youtube tutorials before you jump into this if you are new to mineral makeup. I really like it but am still getting a feel for it b/c I'm not very crafty with makeup. I discovered I wasn't using enough product to get the coverage I wanted b/c it's stressed to not use a lot. The tutorials are using a standard size dispenser and this is a really small pot (container) It's impossible to "swirl and tap" with the lid as they recommend. I wound up using a tupperware lid to tap and swirl in onto. It also kinda sets in my pores as this was the whole reason I purchased it, to see if it gave me an airbrushed finished. It didn't. I will repurchase the normal size and a kabuki brush and just start over.

I love this kit. It is great it comes with almost everythingyou need, the only thing I added was the face and eye primer. It isa thirty day supply but if you can spread it out to last longer. It is a grest buy if you dont have the money to spend on the full sizes, and a great way to test it out.

Very dissatisfied and will most likely not be buying any bare mineral products again. There was no instruction on how to apply and even when applying lightly, it was very obvious I had make up on and aged me a few years. I also chose the lightest available color for my pale skin and the color was not very pale and had a orange-hue to it.
Very disappointing products.

For all the raves about this product, i decided to give it a go. I have smooth skin, and all i expect of makeup is evening out the tone and leaving me with a healthy look. The foundation in this set made me look like i was wearing a ton of makeup, even when i applied very little, and aged me 20 years. It is terrible for skin dry like mine. When i applied it, i had to wash my entire face before i went out because i really wouldn't want anyone to see me with horrible makeup on. I understand some people love it, but i hated it. I am so much happier now with bb creams.

This is my favorite makeup. I used it years ago when I had really bad acne and it cleared my face. I tried it again now and I don't know why I stopped using it. It's worth to get this trial one because the powder really isn't that small it lasted me over 2 months and it gives you 2 brushed soo worth it.
