I have always loved mineral veil for touch-ups and was really excited to find this.
The powder is great but the packaging could use some work. The powder gets all over the mirror and makes it basically useless. I wish they could come up with a way to keep the powder from getting on the mirror. I wish the brush was smaller so it would fit into the compact so you didn't have to carry around to bulky items in your pocket or purse.
Love the idea behind it though!!

Mineral veil is my go to powder! its so smooth and silky, so when i saw this, i had to buy it because of the amazing deal! When I got it, it came in a tiny box, which was really cute! I really love the brush! the hairs are so smooth and the design is great. however, the design of the powder is very poor. When i first tried opening it, the entire lid came off. the second time, i was able to get it to open, but there was a ton of power all over the place. i don't really like the design of the dispenser, but it is better than nothing. if the design was better, i would give it 5 stars! but this kit is really worth it! The powder is just like their famous Mineral Veil! It stops shine and absorbs all the excess oil! I always use this on top of my BB Creams.

I love this compact! It only lets out a little bit of the product, which is great, because when it gets tipped around in your purse, a ton of the veil doesn't get all over the place like it would with the original container. The mirror is basically useless, but I still love this. I carry it with me wherever I go for touch ups!

Nice powder but packaging was too bulky

I bought this to carry around in my bag for retouching. The powder is very silky and it removes shine and hides my pores when applied. The only 2 issues I had with this were bulkiness (bulky container + extra brush for application) and lack of SPF. Very often I have to go out without a "proper" handbag so I am forced to carry with me only the minimum necessary. This meant that most of the time I would need to leave this product behind defeating the purpose of its purchase. And since I have to be out under the sun for long periods of time, I needed an SPF.

this think is ok. not WOW but NOT BAD.
you vill not have powdery look and it's feels light on the face ,but it is sooo difficult to open compact and brush could be better. and i have NO IDIA if it do minimizes the appearance of fine lines and pores.

Bare Minerals has great products. This is the same original veil, just in new packaging. I like it. It snaps open, has a small opening where the powder comes out. The little brush is handy. Would buy again.

This Mineral Veil is the perfect finishing powder! It's light and gives the perfect matte finish to any make-up look. This is a steal... The brush is great for travel or just at home... fits easily in my make-up bag but doesn't feel like some of the other travel size brushes (which can sometimes feel cheap)! This product is awesome and is an awesome price!

Wanted a compact like this for a while. BE user for 9 years. Love the compact but HATE the brush. Feels VERY cheap - bristles are not like the other BE brushes and the"retractable" brush base will probably fall apart any day now.

This is one of the best BE compacts so far. It really does dispense the perfect amount of mineral veil each time. It absorbs the oil on my t-zone and keeps me shine-free for the rest of the day. Just don't forget to remove the plastic over the mirror (ahem) otherwise you won't be able to see where you apply the mineral veil. I've had it for a few days now and it hasn't made a mess of my bag once. Score. Very secure. Best way to store and use the mineral veil daily. P.s. The brush is awesome too. Easy to cap and store.

I like the idea of having a compact of mineral veil that's available whenever I need it, but the brush doesn't really fit the same description. If the brush were able to be stored and not just floating around my bag, I'd give it a higher rating.

Normally I just buy the mineral veil by itself but I saw this travel compact with brush and thought it looked convenient. Love the set... Especially the brush! Softest brush ever! Feels like I am stroking my face with velvet. Now my favorite part of my makeup routine.
