This product was shown to me during a make-up application. I love it. I have been using Nars Super Orgasm for years (which I also love) and decided to try something new. It is light, easy to use and the color is great.

A Gorgeous, Natural Flush!

I chose this product in "Flush," a flattering berry-pink. I was a bit befuddled at first; you have to twist the bottom of the tube several times before any color appears. Hourglass suggests dabbing a bit of this lightweight, water-based gel on the apples of your cheeks and blending quickly in circular motions. Coverage is buildable. If you want more color, simply repeat the process. The result is nothing less than SPECTACULAR--a natural, translucent glow in any light, even in the harsh, unforgiving light of morning. You look amazing for long hours. This particular shade is appropriate for most skin tones, but I would like to try it in "Rouge" as well.

This is my second tube of this cheek stain. I had my make-up done last year at Canyon Ranch by an Hourglass rep. They used this over a bronzer. It always makes me look healthy but not made up.

applicator is not the best

This cheek stain is a pretty color ( Flush) but the applicator is not the best for smoothest application. It dries quickly so you need to prep your skin well prior to using it. I found there are other products that work better and last as long for this price point. I love Hourglass, but this applicator could use some work. Sponges just feel dirty after time and it isn't like you can clean it. I dab a brush on the end of it to apply now. Will not repurchase.

I'm in my 50's and was using Nars Deep Throat. Great color but I think because a powder was making me look older. I love this cheek stain as an alternative. My skin is olive but fair.

I have become a fan of creme blush, now I'm a fan of cheek stain, actually I've become a fast fan of all the Hourglass products. At first I thought they were a little pricey, you need so little because the quality is so fabulous!

Love this blush. I always look like my cheeks are glowing, never blush-y. I use Petal and it kinda reminds me of the Orgasm peach-pink.
To use:
Click the bottom until a little product surfaces, it is a gel-cream texture. Either dab on the cheeks (will deposit lots of colour) or swipe a little on your ring finger for more subtle application. Beautiful glowing skin appears!!

This is the first cheek stain I have ever been able to commit to! I use for everyday wear coupled with a tinted moisturizer to give myself a nice natural dewy glow. If I use it with full coverage then the effect is lost (for me at least) so I prefer it when I am going for a light to medium coverage day or on days when my skin is really dry. The color looks great on my light skin, is easy to blend, and stays put.

I love my Hourglass foundation and fell for this stain when the Hourglass representative at Sephora showed me how to apply it with a blush brush.
It leaves a beautiful glow and stays on a long time!
The only reason it's getting 4 vs. 5 stars is the bottle doesn't last that long. It's only lasted 2 months of daily usage vs. the foundation that's lasted 3 times more than that! $45 is a lot to spend every 2 months on blush.

I am a big fan of the Hourglass tinted moisturizer but this stain
was dull. It may be good for someone wanting a very pale tint but I needed much more and they only offer two shades.

Natural colors, quickly absorbed, Dewey without being shimmery. It's easy to apply and gives my skin a glowing flushed look. I'm on my second bottle and love it!
I wear tinted moisturizer and it's great to have a light wearing non-powder blush that naturally blends.
I do think it's a pricey for a blush, but I think it's worth it.
