I bought this in Flush and the color is a very pretty pinky-fuschia. Smells of peppermint and tingles in a nice way. As a lip color, the staying power is good. As a stain, not so much. I'll use it up and enjoy it. I am however on a quest for the World's Best Lip Stain and this isn't it.

Quick Take: long lasting, amazing tone
I purchased the scarlet, and although this sounds "red", it isn't, and is more wine toned. It is long lasting, and a great shade. It can be layered from a very natural appearance or reapplied for deeper shade. I purchased a second one, in case this colour was discontinued.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to use it over the weekend. Beautiful color and easy to use. I applied a few layers to get the color I was looking for. Will be great this summer.

Quick Take: sheer, pretty, very temporary, kind of dry
I like this sheer "stain" as the color I got is lovely. I tried the violet one at Sephora and looked like a ghoul at best. However, this is hardly a stain since as soon as I licked my lips, most of it came off (that's my taste test). Oh well.

Quick Take: long lasting, drying
I bought this lipstain in "Scarlet" and love it. It's a little darker so it is a great color for fall. The color stays on well and can be layered to darker or lighter depending on how you like it. It comes out very matte so I'll either wear a lipgloss or lipbalm over it.The product is drying however that being said, I have yet to find a lipstain that isn't.

Quick Take: not as expected
I bought Aura Sheer Lip Stain in Petal. I've never tried a lip stain before, and had hoped it would prove long lasting. It is not, and the applicator is a weird, foam-tipped tube -- kind of a yucky way to apply this lip product. It is hard to get even, precise coverage with this applicator -- the product does not release evenly or smoothly. I had hoped the color would be more of a tint, but it's really similar to a lip gloss, and about as long-lasting as one, too. It's an okay product, but I don't think I'll bother with a second purchase of it, nor will it be my "go-to" lip color.

When I first tried this I loved the color on me (flush). It wasn't too dark but also added a pop. However, for the high price tag there was no lasting power. Even when not eating or drinking the color would disappear quickly. To me it was not worth the money and returned.

Love this lip stain. It feels good, looks natural, and last long.

Quick Take: over priced, glitchy
Loved the color and concept however I spent more time twisting for color the it actually lasted on my lips . Everytime I twisted no color came out. I twisted and twisted and nothing . I was patient and slow so that a ton would not spew out still nothing after several turns. Time passed and I went to return it ,to our surprise half the bottle spewed out and I never got to use it. Way over prices for a gadget that doesn't work!

I love the color and absolute love the packaging. The only downside is I have to apply my most moisturizing lip balm because its so drying. I think I'll def stick with buying the lip glosses next time

Ladies, I a sixty six. That is the age when lipstick s so important. However, lipstick feathers and is very drying. This product provides excellent coverage with easy application. It has staying power, does not feather and one can apply a balm over the stain without any problems.

I love this product. It goes on with great ease and provides excellent color. There is no lip-line bleeding and one can wear a balm over the stain without it affecting the color. I traditionally have dry lips and lipstick bleeds. This product borders on perfection.

Quick Take: long lasting
I love this lip stain. I noticed in the reviews that some people were complaining about how long it wears, but I have not encountered that problem. As with most stains, you have to put it on and then let it fully dry before applying other glosses, or eating/drinking. Great deep color!

I am not typically extremely picky about my lip product but this lip stain was horrible. It wore of way to quickly for a stain, which is a huge disappointment since I love Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick (I even wore it for my wedding). I would have given the product 3 stars if it wore off evenly but instead I had to continuely checking my lips since I had sections that remained stained while the rest wore off. This is getting returned for another product.

Hi! "Aura" is a great color on almost anyone, I'd bed. It's a little corally pink. It dries and doesn't look like a stain ... I originally bought the darker pink, and I may as well have bought a dark color from Maybelline. Aura looks fantastic alone or under gloss, for staying power. I haven't liked many stains in the past, but I'd re-purchase this with a GRIN. :) Stay beautiful, inside & out. ;)
