I dont know how I put foundation on without this now! Oh wait, I used my fingers. Would you believe I use less foundation now? I use this with liquid and the finish is superb. Will have to get a replacement just in case!!

Quick Take: multipurpose, soft
I enjoy using the original, larger version of this brush for a quick sweep of foundation and I like this one for a denser application of product or to layer foundation on areas I need more coverage. Ive also used it for cream blush and liquid highlighters and it works great in that sense too. Like its older brother it's very soft, even more dense and I haven't noticed any shedding at all. Probably would repurchase.

Quick Take: easy to use, achieves excellent results, soft
This brush was recommended to me by a make-up artist at my local Sephora store. I had previously been using sponges to apply my liquid foundation and was finding that I wasn't getting the coverage I wanted for the amount of foundation I had to use. When I told the make-up artist that I was getting married in 3 weeks and she immediately handed me this and said it would help me get the airbrush look I wanted for my wedding make-up. She couldn't have been more right! I was apprehensive about paying $32 for a make-up brush, but if you keep the brush clean (I use the Sephora daily brush cleaner and shampoo) I think it'll last me quite a while. My daily make-up has never looked better and I'm confident I'll be a beautiful bride on my wedding day.

I never really understood the importance of brushes until now! This brush was used on me at the Sephora store and I am a convert.
This brush works great with Laura Mercier's mineral pressed powder foundation and allows me to control how much coverage I want. It feels soft and light! Very easy to use.

Airbrush Finish!

Quick Take: airbrushed, flawless, doesn't absorb
This foundation brush gives a air brush finish to any foundation. I use it with my tinted moisturizer for daily wear as well as with my full coverage foundation for nights out. Works great with both and doesn't absorb the product.

Quick Take: synthetic hair
I first heard friends rave about their #56 pro airbrush and had to finally ask..... so glad I did! Great precision as promised, I find myself using less foundation. I only dab a tiny bit on the ends of the brush and a little goes A LONG way. I only hope Sephora will sell this as a travel size in the near future. Love it!

Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair
I had to learn how to use this, as it is a different kind of foundation brush than I was used to, but once I learned, I love it. I can use it with cream foundation as a stippling brush on full-coverage areas, then buff it into the rest of my face more lightly, and it all blends nicely. The bristles are soft and dense, and I recommend putting a bit of your foundation on a palette (I use a glass coaster) and spreading it out thin with a tiny plastic spatula or your finger, then just moistening the tips of the bristles with the foundation and applying it. Most of the time, I don't even have to blend with a spong afterwards, but if you're using a lot of contouring, you might need to go over your face with a beauty blender or sponge after using this brush.
I actually use less product when I apply it with this brush, which is good for the budget as well as for my skin. I consider this brush a good investment.

My favorite brush!

This is my second sephora airbrush. (I have the concealer brush). I LOVE applying my Clinique liquid foundation with this brush. It's so soft & applies the foundation equally. I never have pieces of brush left on my face either. I'd recommend this brush to everyone.

flawless finish

I have dry patches, hyper-pigmentation and facial hair. I can't just sweep concealer/corrector across my face or it will streak, separate and highlight my imperfections. I need to target my skin in small sections and dab enough product for even coverage. This brush is like no other - it allows me to stipple and pat seamlessly. I only need minimal product to get a flawless finish, and I love that the coverage is not cakey. Love this brush! (the only demerit is the price - still feels a bit excessive)

Quick Take: cheap
For me key is blending and time. I did that and this technic had no affect. The way this brush needs to be used in order to affect and last had no function. It left me streaky.

pricey, but a great brush

I didn't know about the whole "using a brush for foundation" thing until I stopped into Sephora for new foundation. They used this brush to apply Makeup Forever HD Foundation (my favorite ever now) and I was stunned with how little foundation I had to use to get good coverage. Now I'm a convert! Wish it didn't cost so much, but it's worth it.

i think that this brush is good for putting foundation on around your t zone where it's a bit harder to put makeup on with a larger brush. i already have a larger foundation brush so i use that one on my forhead and cheeks.

Quick Take: soft bristles
As the title says, this is my new favorite makeup tool. I have never before used a brush to apply foundation, and boy have I been missing out. This makes me foundation look fantastic. It looks really natural, while creating a more flawless, airbrushed finish. I can't believe I have been missing out all these years. The brush is also incredibly soft and retains its shape after cleaning. Would absolutely recommend this brush.

I love this brush. It is amazing. I had been using a flat foundation brush, but having issues of streaks and instead of building my founation I was taking away and getting frustrated! This brush is the perfect size. The sales associate recommended this brush and showed me how to use it.
