Quick Take: hydrating, conditioning, creamy
I use this as a night lip balm, and it's amazing. I suffer from horribly dry cracked lips. I wake up in the morning with smooth soft lips. It stays through the night. I don't find it's very exfoliating, but very conditioning. It smells like very potent olive oil though, so if you're sensitive to smells, it may bother you.

okay moisturizing, barely exfoliating

I bought this for the exfoliating properties, since this is what sets this lip product apart from the myriad of other lip products, but I barely noticed a difference. As a moisturizer it is just okay, if you want a product for that reason alone there are much better ones out there. I was very disappointed that mineral oil was one of the ingredients, which was not listed as an ingredient online. This is overpriced for a cheap ingredient like mineral oil. Please note that emu oil is an ingredient, for those of you that don't want an animal product on your lips. On the plus side, this is a good base for lipstick.

Good moisturizer, barely exfoliates

I bought this for the exfoliating properties, as this is what would set it apart from the myriad of other lip products out there. I was a little disappointed, as it hardly exfoliated my always dry lips. It does however, provide a good base for lipstick, but if are looking for a lip moisturizer there are much better ones out there for that alone. I am also not crazy about the emu oil on my lips, I must not of realized that ingredient was in there when I ordered it. I'm okay with that product on my skin, but my lips...a little bit of an eewww factor for me!

Wow, this product is a must have! I've used a few other lip treatments and scrubs and was never satisfied -- none of them combated the icky, flaky cracked lips. This didn't just work overnight -- it worked almost instantly. After just one night of application, I woke up with softer, smoother lips. When I apply in the morning, my lips stay kissably soft all day long, even after my lip gloss or the tinted lip balm I layer over wears off. And while we're not talking a cheap item, I find a little goes a long way. Just the tiniest bead will work! I love it, and will definitely repurchase once i've gone through this tube.

I Love this lip treatment, I have chapped lips All the time I've used EVERYTHING.. Literally. I live in Florida, and am in the Air conditioner 24/7 and my lips are always dry and cracked. The first time you use this your lips feel silky. Expensive but worth the money.

I have very chapped lips due to the cold and also the fact that I bite them a lot. I bought this just to try it out and not thinking much of it but it is amazing! It helps immediately and also my lips have been softer and I bite them less.

I really like this, and I like that fact that a little bit goes a long way. My lips stay supple for a really long time, however you must apply this product everyday to get the full effect.

Excellent lip balm

I have been using Lip Silk for a few years. My lips can become so dry that they hurt. Many lip balms I've tried haven't helped that much and they dry out fast. Not the case with this one that stays on and moisturizes for a long time. I use it every night as part of my nightly routine, but also use it during the day when I'm not wearing lipstick/gloss. It's a great product.

Gives a smooth surface for lipstick, prevents feathering, and it stays on for a while which is good. I like to put it over some lipsticks that are a little dry also.

Quick Take: hydrating, softening, soothing
I've never reviewed a product before, but I had to for this! I've always had incredibly dry lips and very few things worked. This product is amazing though. Maybe it's the emu oil or maybe it's the brand, but I can say after using it for 2 days that this even helps with eczema around the lips. It absorbs super quick and has a lovely sheen to it. Another bonus is that it fills in or minimises lines in your lips and feathering. 5 stars!!!

This is a great find! True you could just use aquaphor to relieve chap lips but this product is nice to use before applying lipstick to help reduce lipstick from feathering.
