Quick Take: creamy, color correcting
I have this in Taffy and find it to be a great base color. It goes on matte and sets quickly. Unfortunately I don't find it to be the longest lasting primer I've tried - I start to see creasing after just 5 hours even with powder shadows.

I got this product on a whim, I should've asked for a sample first. My lids are very oily and it helped keep my eyeliner and shadow in place but after about a month the product got so dry that everytime I tried to apply it, it ended up going on cakey. Definitely not worth the money.

I've been a huge fan of shadow primers for years. A good primer is a must have in the summer. I'd been wearing another line for years but they changed the product making it less effective, I found Prime Pot completely by mistake after trying several others. Prime Pot is light years better than my old favorite. You could spend an enitre day in 110 heat and your shadow will still look as if you just applied. Best shadow primer on the planet.

I use this as a back up primer in my work bag, and use Too Faced primer daily. If i don't have time to play with makeup, i'll put this primer on as is or as a base for a light shadow.

It does what it says and stays all day without creasing.

Really nice product. Great to use on it's own. As a primer, it works great for matte shadows. When used with shimmery shadows, I find that it sort of dulls the color - which is the exact opposite of what a primer should do... it should intensify the color but I've noticed the opposite, which is why I've taken off a star. However, it is really water resistant and crease resistant - I have suuuper oily eyelids and it never creases on me!

Major fan of shadow primers but this color and consistency lets you wear this on the weekends or downtime alone!! As an actual primer , very very good. I put makeup on @ 6:00am and @ least 6pm - like new!!!! I am light to medium skinned italian and the taffy is my favorite, again alone great and it "brightens " all shadow colors - try it...

I love the prime pot. It lasts a long long time, keeps my shadow fresh and I use it under my eyes to help eyeliner last all day. I use Taffy!

Quick Take: thick and lumpy
Application is difficult. The cream goes on 'sticky' and hard to smooth out evenly over the skin. This produces further problems because it tends to go on 'thick' rather than 'thin' and so it makes the eyelid appear bumpy.

I received this in Taffy as a 100 point gift and really like it. Cool pinky biege, long lasting, no creasing or odd texture.
This does not feel as heavy duty as Urban Decay but is more natural looking. Heavier than Smashbox and less likely to give you crepey lids. If you need more warmth to the color, you might prefer Lancome Aquatique in nude better.

Quick Take: crease resistant, waterproof
I love this product. The key is to DAB it on, not try to rub it on like a concealer. No other shadow primer works as well and it's WATERPROOF. The Taffy is beiger than it is pink, and I use it without incident on fair, Irish skin. I can't imagine why this is no longer being carried in stores. :(

Didn't like the product, it does not glide as easy as I thought to provide the coverage. The eye area is very delicate and this product has to be smeered with pressure. After a short period of time it dried out in the container, and it became hard as a rock. This product is going back to the store!

I have asian skin tones so I got caramel. But it was too orange colored? I always looked like I was wearing orange eyeshadow and it didn't help that my favorites were gold or bronze. It also got all over my lashes and effectively made my lashes orange. I suppose this is good if it is a good color match for your skin tone but yeah try in stores on your hand or something before buying.
As for working as a primer, it's alright. I've had good results with most primers though.

I actually got this for my 100 point sample and it turns out, I LOVE IT. Best ever. Stays put all day. When I come home my eyeshadow is still on my lids just like it was in the morning.
It also makes your eyeshadow colors come out better and more like the color you see before putting it on your lids.

I tried this after watching a youtube video on primers for oily eyelids. My eyeshadow lasted about four hours than the color faded and it started to crease-off. I then went to try Urban Decay and LOVE IT. It actually does the job.

Even though it's a bit sticky, it helps my cream shadows to stay exactly as i applied them even in the most humid weather! I bought "taffy" and its also great as a basic eye shadow or even concealer. Great product!

I found this item to be too drying, and the color tooo caramel so I either threw it out or returned it. I would recommend trying it out first at a dept store or giving it a fair chance if ordered by mail. Other than that, I have to say I found the product remarkedly ordinary and I could take it or leave it.
