Not as good as Night Recovery Lotion

Quick Take: greasy
I had used Lab Series' Night Recovery Lotion for years and after a few nights of trying Max LS Overnight Renewal Serum, I switched back to it. Like other products in the Max LS line, I found the consistency to be greasy. It did not fully absorb into the skin and I think it clogged my pores. In the morning, my skin was shiny and had some small red pimples. My skin did not have the youthful glow that it did when I woke up after using Night Recovery Lotion. I guess sometimes newer does not mean better!

Best Serum for a Guy's Skin - From Lab Series

What guy wouldn’t want smoother, healthier looking skin, that’s easier to shave? Well, Lab Series hit a home run with Max LS Renewal Serum. Designed to be used at night and with their terrific Max LS Age-Less Face Cream, the serum actually has a range of uses. Naturally, it boosts the performance of its companion cream, creating one of the most powerful anti-aging duos around for men. While the product is slated for use at night under the cream, I use it both PM and AM under the cream. And, if you want just light moisturizing, the serum might be used on its own for guys with oily skin. After all, the same glucosamine and salicylic acid that keep skin smooth, also benefit – when the serum is used alone – an oily complexion. With the cream, it paves the way for skin to receive all the benefits of the Age-Less Cream. The serum, like the cream, contains peptides, which help it make skin look better over time. This serum is lightweight, non-oily, and feels great – disappears on contact. It also seems to make shaving easier, maybe because of its exfoliating properties. For maximum benefits of the new Lab Series Max Ls Age-Less Face Cream, I use the Serum at night – and sometimes in the morning. For a touch of light moisture for oilier skins or in hot climates, try the Serum alone. Either way, the Serum is a necessity, not just another add-on. After a few uses, you’ll probably agree with me.
