I agree with other reviews. Product works fine on one's hand, but does not flow on eyelid. Lots of pulling and tugging to get a fat line. Thin line is less easy to obtain. Wish I had read the reviews first, but was in the store. Would not buy again.

Still looking for that perfect plummy brown color since Bare Minerals discontinued their previous eye pencils - and this is a close shade but there's a little tugging involved and its hard to get a smooth thin line.

The color and wear is great, however the design is terrible. It is hard to apply, the width of the pencil is too wide, and the sharpener is next to useless.

Quick Take: not worth buying
this eyeliner may indeed be waterproof, but i only used it (or tried to use it) once. It did not "glide" on; but was so stiff it broke off without really making a nice line. Forget about trying to blend it. I never did get the look i normally have with my drugstore eyeliner. Going to try something else, i would NOT recommend this.

smokey purple is SEXY

Quick Take: long wearing, smudgable
I am in love with the shade of this violet eyeliner from LORAC. It's a great formula that lasts all day, even in the rim of my eyes. I really like the smudge tip as well to smoke it out. Purple liner looks softer and brings out my brown eyes when black usually is too dark. I love it!

Great color and smooth application, however, the smudger/sharpener end does not stay attached to the pencil; or, it gets so jammed up, it can't be separated. Exchanged it for a standard pencil and some Qtips!

Quick Take: smudgable, waterproof, long wearing
I have been applying smudge-pot eyeliner with a brush for years and wanted to save time in the morning by switching to a pencil. I bought the Lorac waterproof pencil because I have been happy with their eye shadows, and this eyeliner was no different. It is easy to apply in a line of varying widths, thin near my inner-eye and thicker toward to outside. It makes a great, slightly smudgy line that isn't too stark or shiny at all. It lasts through a full work day, and has lasted late into the night during my evenings out. It comes off easily with waterproof eye makeup remover. I have also put it on my waterline and it seems to stay put there as well, although I haven't worn it there for an extended period of time, or during a teary moment :)

Although I was not fond of this eyeliner, I gave it 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. I liked that there was an onboard smudger and sharpener. 2. I liked the shade of brown. However, I did not find that the liner went on smoothly. Instead, it skipped and tugged along the lash line. It also did not blend or smudge very well.

This pencil applied well when testing on the back of my hand, but it was a different story when applying on my actual eye. I had to press too hard and it still wasn't as dark as I would like.

Quick Take: waterproof
I like the way the product applies and the way it stays on. It is waterproof so it doesn't smudge on my upper eyelid like other liners. But one time I extended the liner and it broke off...oops! and I really don't like to have to sharpen a product. I feel that I'm throwing my money away as scrap. So will I buy it again or would I recommend it to a friend? I think I will continue my search for the perfect liner and who knows, I may wind up with this product.

I really liked the LORAC liquid eyeliner so I decided to invest in this. I wasn't extremely pleased nor was I extremely happy. It does not glide on smoothly and takes a few strokes to get it to the dark color I want it to be at. I prefer using it as a lower liner for its smudging purposes. As for the 3-in-1 part, the only complaint is that it does transfer but not as bad as any other liner I've used before.

I love the way it goes on but it does break off really easy and wastes a lot - the sharpener needs to be built into the top so it auto sharpens I think that would stop the breaking off and waste

I have always really liked the Lorac products that I have purchased. This is the first I have ever returned. The pencil did not go on smoothly it pulled like it was either to hard or dry. I returned it.

This was recommended by Paula Begoun and it does not disappoint. It glides on well, smudges only okay, and lasts for a long time. I'm not sure about the waterproof part but it's worth the price!

I got this eyeliner because the previous one i had was also pencil. This one was horrible, the pencil was all broken, it just fell out, and it was NOT waterproof. I only use liquid eyeliner now .

Quick Take: long wearing
I am very happy with this product, I was looking for a long weariing, intense black eyeliner and this one delivered! I have tried many, and Lorac Intense Black is by far the best. it didn't run or smudge and it goes on nicely over eyeshadow for the smokey eye look. The intense color lasts all day as well. Would definitly recommend, well worth the cost.
