Excellent for Sensitive Combination / Oily skin
-06.14.13
Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, lightweight
I have sensitive combination skin -- I'm only oily in the T zone. I purchased this tinted moisturizer because it was recommended by Paula Begoun for my skin type. I am really pleased with it! It has buildable coverage and a matte finish which is good for my oily spots. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because if I put this on without anything on underneath (e.g. a lotion with SPF or a primer) it is not moisturizing enough for me. We are told to put a lotion with SPF on under tinted moisturizers anyway (since you are unlikely to layer it on thick enough) but I thought I'd mention it.

New Staple!
-06.10.13
Quick Take: mineral (chemical-free) spf-20, fragrance free, sensitive skin approved
Wow! My skin is sensitive, it doesn't play well with chemical sunscreens. I always look for Titanium Dioxide and/or Zinc Oxide because they are gentle & more stable. (This has both!) With all the new BB & CC Creams--including Stila, I've yet to find one that has a decent sunscreen in a natural looking formula. I tested this product solely on the mineral sunscreens. From the tube *Honey* looked as if it would be a bit dark on me, but it blended in just as well as *Medium* did and I went with darker because its Summer (my skin manages to get a bit of tan even through my sunscreens). I'm WOWed with the ingredient list! Check this out: Vitamins C, A & two forms of E are right after the silicone's & slip/thickening agents, there's also added a few extracts; Ginseng, Ginko Biloba & Chamomile, (just to name a few). It is also fragrance free and has no detectable scent. Its simple to apply (I use a foundation brush), hard to mess up because it blends in beautifully and it has a light texture. I apply JM Daily Mosturizer SPF 40 and sometimes I use HourGlass Mineral Primer SPF 15 on top of that and then apply this product. (I try to layer sunscreen so I'm blocking as many harmful rays as possible.) I don't feel it is heavy at all and it's great coverage for a tinted moisturizer. If I'm going out, I might apply my BE powder foundation over this, very lightly with a fluffy face brush. This is my HG Tinted Moisturizer. The ONLY way I'd switch is if it was a higher sunscreen! Don't just take my word, test it out for yourself!

Nice, light coverage tint
-06.07.13
Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, lightweight
This is my go-to moisturizer/light foundation. It's creamy, but has a little shine that might not suit everyone. It's an effective sunscreen and light foundation, but benefits from powder for a matte finish.

This was a nice product, it felt great on my akin covered pretty decently and did exactly it was supposed to do, my only problem was that it broke me out :(. I really loved the texture and how lightweight this felt but I had to return it. Just a heads up, try a sample before purchasing ago you don't end up like me. Overall, I'd give it a three in terms of coverage and how it wore throughout the day, I felt it wasn't very long lasting.

does the job

Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, lightweight
I have used this product for the past year. I think at my age I may need more coverage though if you were younger it would do the trick. I wish it had more SPF than 20. It usually lasts half the day, could be longer lasting.

Didn't like it
-05.08.13
I thought it was too shimmery. I guess the makers of the product were trying to achieve this "glow" like complexion, but I just felt like I mixed fine sparkles to my moisturizer and applied it to my face. In addition, it clogged my pores. I developed a lot of white heads after 2 days and had to return the product.

This a great product. Super moisturizing and enough coverage to reapply (after 10 hours) & go out after work.

Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, lightweight
I am pretty pale and the lightest shade works well for me. I still use my normal moisturizer under this because I have dry skin. I wish it were a bit more moisturizing, but this is exactly the coverage I was looking for. Sheer, yet evens out my skin tone without looking obvious.

Can't say enough about this product! I love it and use it daily. It blends well and provides a decent amount of coverage (more than I would expect). It's extremely "breathable" and light weight. It makes my skin look naturally beautiful. It's become a new staple in my makeup draw.

I do like it but its a little too glittery sometimes. The reason I like it a lot is because you don't need a lot of it. Its perfect for everyday!

Physical Sunblock...good!
-04.06.13
Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, lightweight
I just got this so haven't worn it much at all, but one of the reasons I'm already giving it 4 stars is that it has a physical sunblock rather than a chemical one. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the sunblock ingredients. For those who are sensitive to chemical blocks (which are in most of the BB creams and other SPF foundations), it's great to have this option! Thank you, Stila!

Love it!!
-04.01.13
This product is perfect to get that dewy complection! I suffer from oily skin that causes my face to shine too much so for the past year I've used a powder to get a matt finish but last month I realised how dull my skin looked. I've always loved stila products because they are so long wearing. I use this foundation with a foundation brush all over my skin and I only use a pea size amount each time so a little goes a long way!
As soon as I run out I'm buying it again.

an everyday staple
-03.23.13
I used this for awhile, then started using the Mercier tinted moisturizer. I went back to this though because the coverage is better, and it is more cost effective. Start with a small amount to begin with. It goes on chalky but blends nicely.

This is a good product. I like the coverage it provides. Almost like a light foundation. However I hate the glittery shimmer it leaves on my face.

Quick Take: contains SPF, lightweight, illuminating, buildable coverage
I really love this product. I have porcelain skin in the cold months, and where I live that is most of the year. This product is very much blendable, so I can adjust the coverage. It is illuminating and evens out my skin. With this, I look like a supermodel. I love how it is very light and non irritating. I already have very nice skin and don't wear concealer or foundation, so with this and NARS blush/bronzer duo my face looks perfect!

Awesome TM, the best out there
-02.19.13
Quick Take: contains SPF, sheer coverage, uva protection, long lasting with primer
Like this more than LM as LM does NOT have UVA protection. And the colors are better with Stila. I get significant coverage, like a light fdtn, that with primer stays all day in my perfect color to match neck, Tone.
