Quick Take: sticky, clumpy
I think probably I just don't get this product. No matter what I did to heat it, it stayed sticky and awful on my hands and then my hair. Plus I had to wash way more frequently.

Great for growing out difficult styles!

I used this stuff a few years ago when I had my daughter-two kids under the age of 5. I had a pixie cut, and this stuff worked great. I have a bob cut that I am growing out, including bangs. I bought it again, to help hold these difficult bangs out of my eyes. I love the hold that out provides. Washes out rather easily, unlike other waxes. I will continue to use, but won't commit to buying again-the bangs are almost there!

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
I've used many different products to get definition in my short hair, and this is by far the best. A little product goes a long way, and provides flexible hold that lasts, and even allows for re-styling after wearing a hat, etc.

I absolutely love this styling wax! Usually hair products like pomade and wax weigh down my hair and my it look greasy because i have really fine hair, but this product it lightweight and moves easy through my hair

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I cut my hair short a few months ago, and was struggling to find something that would allow me to keep up my pompadour hairstyle. The front of my hair would always flop or lose shape by the end of the day. This works great, and holds up well, gives tons of shine, without being super heavy.

I have tried a few different pastes/waxs over the past few months since I got a pixie cut and I love this!!! It does exactly what it says - hold but still flexible. I am hooked and love B&B products!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. Works great on my thick hair and short style. Lots of hold without weighing it down. Be sure to warm it with your blow dryer first. A little does go a long way. Love it!

I had high hopes - literally - for the Bumble and Bumble Sumowax, but it proved too heavy for my fine hair. I loved the shine it provided, though. I think it would be a great product for people with thicker hair.

Sumowax has good hold and is pretty easy to work with, after you warm it up with the hairdryer. Otherwise you can't really get the product out enough to use it. But with the hairdryer trick, I really like it on my pixie cut.

I gave three stars bc of the price and it wasnt really what i expected, U e=wanted some texture to my shoulder length hair, as in when i straighten it i wanted it to look piecy. I may go with B & B texture cream.

It's nearly impossible to find a product that works for my medium-length, thick, naturally curly hair. Gels are too drying and crunchy, creams make it greasy and limp. I wanted definition and volume with a little touch of shine, and now I've found it. Sumowax is the real deal. I use one dab on towel dried hair and another teeny dab for shaping and twirling the pieces in the front. Product works great with air drying or diffuser. Best yet, I can wait 3 days before washing my hair, and it looks better as the days go on.
If you buy Sumowax, read the directions! Seriously. The product works great only if you follow the directions. The enclosed booklet explains that you must heat the jar with a hairdryer before use and only use a dime sized amount. It will not seem like enough and you will be tempted to reach for more. Don't. Trust Sumowax to work its magic.

Quick Take: easy to use
I've used this product for years to make my short hair look perfectly piecey and shiny. The trick to using this thick stuff is to aim your blowdryer into the open top for several seconds to warm it up and thin it out. This make it so easy to work with. Have to practice the amount to use because a little goes a very long way. This little container lasts me nearly six months with every day use.

I have short hair and I am trying to get the right handle on this stuff. It is a bit thicker than I am used to but I am sure eventually I will get the hang of it! I Love all of the Bumble and Bumble products expecially the prep and tonic sprays!

I actually returned this as I found it much too difficult to use. I think better suited for short short hair. And difficult to even wash off my hands after use. I'm sure fine for some people but not me. I just found out that I can get free samples of products before I purchase. Good that Sephora did give me a store credit.
