Quick Take: too dark for a blonde
Definitely more on the brown side than blonde. I have very blonde hair and felt like my hair was highlighted brown afterwards. Probably a better product if you are a dark blonde. I had to return it.

I have medium blonde hair so I bought the blondish. The first one I bought didn't spray so I exchanged it. I was going out that evening & had washed my hair the day before so I wanted to freshen it up. It sprayed brown!!! It colored my scalp & the sides of my face. I wound up trying to wipe my scalp with wipies, couldn't get it all off & finally had to pull my hair back. In addition my hair was stiff & hard to brush & when I blew my noes brown came out!. I returned it.

I made the mistake of trying to apply this after I did my makeup. I got the spray on my forehead, which ruined my makeup. I also got it on my hands as I was applying it. It made my hair thicker, and covered my grays, but I play with my hair a lot, so it's hard for me to avoid getting the product on my hands. I'm going to return it tomorrow.

Had high hopes for a dry shampoo where I would not have to worry about my scalp looking white, but it is way too heavy, makes my hair feel sticky, and worst yet, every time i ran my fingers through my hair, the color came off on my hands.

What a disappointment. This is the third time I've purchased the blondish hair powder. I used to RAVE about it. The color was perfect for my light brown hair and the product itself was amazing. The last time I bought it I noticed the color was a little off toward the end but thought it was because it was near the end of the can. It got pretty messy too. I ordered a new can but am so disappointed. The color is dark brown, not blonde (like the color at the end of the old can) and it is sooo messy. What happened? I used to love this product. I won't buy it again. The only thing good I can say about it is that it covers the grey roots.

Love this stuff. I use it the third and fourth weeks of my hair color. Just spray it on your roots and style. Do it before you put your clothes on, or with a towel over your shoulders because if you don't press hard, it can drip on your clothes and it's tempting to be timid. But once you get the hang of it, it's really great stuff! The Blondish is perfect for Dark Blond (my shade), matches exactly. It would probably work well with highlighted hair too, but not on lighter blonds.

Quick Take: easy to use, natural looking
I got this yesterday at the store, then immediately went to look at the reviews, which scared me. I decided to give it a try anyway, and it turned out great! I washed my hair the night before last and braided it to blow it dry in the morning. I blew it out in the morning, and returned from work with my normal, starting to get greasy, roots. Last night I sprayed my hair with this. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! I sectioned the crown of my head, and sprayed once where my part would be this morning, once in the very front, and once in a part at the top of my head. THATS IT! This morning after my shower, hit my roots with a blow dryer, and I was out the door. My hair doesn't look stained, greasy, or anything else. The color matches my highlighted hair well, and I could see this working for even another day if I want it to.

I am likely to chunk this the next time I start clearing things out. It's sticky and the color gets on everything - even several minutes after applied. Very disappointed as a Bumble and bumble fan.

Meh, yet another failed attempt at dry shampoo

I probably just got this in the wrong shade, but it was late, I'd be looking for something like this, and I thought I'd try it. It's more brownish than blondish and it left noticeably dark patches in my bright, naturally red hair. I can't wash my hair more than every other day without turning it into straw, but my roots get greasy. So I've been searching for a dry shampoo. However, the powder formulations like Oscar Blandi leave my hair looking a bit dull and powder-y So a friend recommended tinted dry shampoo. This however was entirely to dark. At least I only got the travel/trial size.

I bought this after putting it on my hair at Sephora and it have a just washed/blow dried look. I just had to have it. And then i discovered what everyone else said. It stains EVERYTHING. I am going to return this product.
Agree. How the heck did Bumble and Bumble get this on the market? Clearly they did not do market research and created this product in a vacuum!

Quick Take: good for covering bald spots., too dark for light blonde hair.
I found only two reviews that accurately describe what this product is good for--from americanjan and dimpleyd--both from 2011. All the negatives pointed out by other reviewers are also true...IF you buy this product to use as dry shampoo. (Messy, gross texture, dull finish, rubs off if you touch your head, turns blonde hair poo brown, etc.) However, if like me, you are dealing with the heartbreak of alopecia and have shiny bald patches on your scalp, this product can be a lifesaver. As a few reviewers advised, spray it directly on scalp in short bursts, holding the can close to your head. This is when the weird texture pays off--it makes it look like you have hair and it does add volume. I round brush my hair first, then spray the bald spots, let it dry briefly and finish with hot rollers and hair spray. My daughter has watched me do this, and agrees the results are amazing, considering what I started with. She actually suggested I share my tips on your site. I've learned not to touch or scratch the spots where I use it, as it will get under your nails and on your fingers. I do have my complaints about it, that it's overpriced, the spray often clogs and the blondish is actually medium brown. (My natural color is dark brown but with highlights and fine lowlights it is a natural looking blonde. As my roots are naturally dark, the blondish shade actually works well unless you have some large areas to cover, as I sadly do now.) If they would correct those three issues, it would be perfect for my purposes. I would much rather my hair start growing back but until then, this product has allowed me to keep going to work everyday with no one knowing I'm angsting over thinning hair and bald patches. It was this or a wig, so I'm grateful to have read a recommendation for it in an article on alopecia. Please, B&B, come out with a lighter shade (more blonde but not white) and lower the price...I'm buying my third can.

Nothing I have to say hasn't been said already. It turns blonde hair a terrible shade of brown, is an absolute mess, and is difficult to get out of clothes, towels, even hair!!!! Hands down one of the worst products I've ever used!! B&B should be ashamed of themselves!

As a late 30's workaholic that sometimes cannot get to my salon every 4/5 weeks this product is a godsend. My stylist recommended the blond for my brown hair - knowing that the blond is better for it and white for blondes. It covers my roots in the in-between sessions. Yes, it can be a bit messy -but that's my only negative. simply put, it works for those of us that gray fast!
