Worst hair product ever
-05.07.13
Terrible. Left black dye powder everywhere. MAde my hair sticky, it wouldnt move, it wasnt soft or scented, it was awful in every way. This may be good to cover grey roots in between salon visits but I dont even think its worth the mess. Did I say it was terrible? Terrible!

Not for every day
-04.16.13
Quick Take: scented, easy to use, texturizing
This product is great when you need to add texture to your hair for an updo or those days when your hair just looks super greasy even in a ponytail. Great for covering up parts when you put your hair up, but it is a bit messy- use it sparingly. Definitely not a dry shampoo for wearing your hair down.

Does the job
-04.14.13
if the job is to mask my non-washed 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) day, greasy hair. However, as other people have stated, be mentally prepared for the black powder to get on your hands if you inadvertently touch your hair or run your hands through. Do not wear a white shirt the day you use this. It takes a few tries to get used to which distance to spray in order to minimize the black spray. I also use my other hand to shield my forehead. Inevitably, I do have to take my fingers and rub off some black pigment at the hairline where it looks unnatural. However, it keeps my dark black hair looking put-together all day. And once you spray it, it will NOT run or leave new black particles on your clothes and skin. I do wish, however, there was a light scent to it, since you can cover the look of unwashed hair but not the smell =)

bad product
-04.13.13
Quick Take: no good for women with dark hair
I used this product since I was looking for a great dry shampoo for dark hair. I didn't realize that it was tinted and could be used to darken your roots- I really wasn't looking for that. It came off on my hands and stained my shirt. Wasn't a cleanser and neither did it add volume. disappointed.

Good Texturizer But Be Prepared for a Mess
-04.06.13
Quick Take: easy to use
I have a love/hate relationship with this hair powder. I find it very helpful to absorb oil and add texture/volume to my unwashed hair. But this spray leaves residue everywhere. The evidence is all over my white bathroom counter. You also can't run your fingers through your hair without getting black powder on them.
Bottom Line: There are better products out there.

Yuck!
-03.05.13
It comes out too thick, has the consistency of hairspray, and is messy. If you need one of the darker shades like I do then it stains clothes, pillowcases, and gets all over your neck and forehead. Skip it, it does not live up to the promises on the label.

Messy but works
-01.02.13
this 'powder' is a spray and splats out black spots on your face and clothes if you aren't careful. And, if you scratch your head, your fingers come out black as well. Pricey . . . when will they invent a spray powder that is CLEAR!?!

Not for me
-12.30.12
I have black hair (dyed) and my grey roots are coming in. I sometimes workout twice a day so I thought this would be a great product for me. The first time I used it the spray sputtered out and went everywhere. I did spray my roots. The color came off on my fingers leaving black smudges like I had been rubbing black print off newspapers.

Useless
-12.18.12
Quick Take: stiff, rubs off easily, waste of money
This product makes my hair stiff, like everyone else below has said. It is like a hairspray -- just like everyone else is saying it is. I sprayed it on my head, thinking I could brush it out like I do with any other dry shampoo, but this was not the case! It was impossible for me to run a comb through my hair, and when I tried combing it with my fingers, the black powder came off all over my hands. If I tried to put my hair in a pony tail, my hands would come back black. It's a really gross product. Stay clear!

Blessing in a bottle
-12.10.12
BB hair powder is truly great! It conceals thinning/balding areas and gives the illusion of a thick full head of hair. It's amazing how this product allowed me to exhale and boosted my self esteem. I love it. The best part is I can wear my hairstyle a few days longer since the product dries the oils. I spray it one day and wear it for two or three days. Thanks for relieving my stress Bumble & Bumble. <3

Love this
-12.09.12
I dont like dying my hair too much, and I have a lot of grays for my age (24). I noticed a couple of bad reviews on how the product is messy..ITS NOT THAT MESSY. I definitely recommend to those women that don't want to dye their hair every 3 weeks.

Total Black-Out
-12.08.12
I usually love B&B products, but not this one so much... The black dye overwhelms everything. I use it to try and clean up my bangs but end up with a black forehead. Gets all over my hands and face and everything else I touch. Also leaves somewhat of a greasy residue. You're better off saving your money on some regular old baby powder.

Messy
-12.02.12
I tried this in store and I hated it - the powder comes off all over my hands and dyed my nude ribbon hair black. It was just disgusting, and I didn't feel like I was clean at all.

Messy, but works to cover thinning hair
-11.30.12
I know people gave this low stars because it's messy, can't run your fingers through your hair and those statements are correct. I on the other hand have used this product to cover the loss of hair I had after having a baby. Great to cover bald spots here and there and if you don't like the amount of scalp you see when you style your hair. Now, I would advise against showering with your husband/boyfriend (as the black powder will run off your hair), getting a scalp massage from your husband/boyfriend, going in swimming pools and showing with your little ones (my daughter thought my hair was really dirty when she saw the black powder wash out) and jumped out of the way so she wouldn't step in the "dirty water".
One large can will last me at least two months if not more if you don't wash you hair everyday. If you are looking to dirty your hair up after washing it so it's easier to style, I sometimes just drive with my window down and that seems to do the trick.

Really.
-10.30.12
I purchased this product hoping it wouldn't leave my hair white like the powdered dry shampoos usually do......instead, it left me greasy and stiff. I couldn't run my fingers through my hair, it was like putting a bunch of hairspray on. Um, hello? I want the grease gone! not stiff hair! AND to make it worse, it started leaking BLACK on my forehead! it was all over my fingers too, what a mess.
I was really hoping this would work. What a disapointment.
P.S. the pressure of the spray it came out REALLY strong so you have very little control and you can't "lightly" apply it.

what a waste
-10.22.12
This was a waste of money. It makes my hair feel far dirtier than before application and it comes off on absolutely everything until you wash it out. You'll need a real shampoo very soon after using this dry shampoo.

Just bad
-09.16.12
Quick Take: scented
This is like a black hairspray. It makes my hair feel unclean and sticky. It's hard to use and hard to contain (you really have to be careful to not spray anything else). Maybe if I had longer hair (I had a shaggy pixie cut) it would have been better but I just disliked it so very much.

This product works well to cover your greys but if you are not careful when you spray it, it will get all over your face. I recommend you spray it before you put your face on and before you get dressed. Also, if you touch hair at all during the day there is transfer to your hand. When you wash your hair the water turns black.
