What it is:A setting spray with a moderate hold.What it does:This spray lifts and holds all hair types (thin, thick, or otherwise). Use it for for blow-drying, setting, protecting from heat, adding volume, lifting, controlling, and finishing any style.What else you need to know:Use any time; after Prep or Tonic Lotion and before heated tools (or any sort of setting). I got this in a mini with my points and could not believe it! It's the weirdest hairspray I've ever used (weird in a good way). It completely holds tight, but you can easily run a comb through it! It does thicken up the hair quite a bit. I have long hair and was considering going back to short because I'm older and it's thinning, but now I don't need to! B&B Thickening spray customer for LIFE!!!

I have fine long hair and like everyone else have tried to use many products to give it volume. I've been trying to get this product to work for my hair for weeks and I don't feel it does anything for it. I tried a lot/a little and after blow drying it looks great initially but then resumes its flatness within an hour or so. I agree it smells great and doesn't feel like hair spray which I love but it just doesn't give me the lift I'm looking for. Planning to return it soon.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
My hair is pretty fine and flat so I've been trying a lot of different products to add volume. Either they didn't work or they would work but leave my hair feeling sticky and dirty. This spray is awesome! It gives me instant volume and thickness with little fussing and doesn't make my hair stiff or grimy. Well worth it!

Quick Take: lightweight
I've been using the Thickening Spray for a very long time even before it was a hairspray as it is now. I've loved this product but actually preferred it more when it was more of a prep spray vs the stickier hair spray now. I have very fine, thin hair and this product is great for me to use as a prep spray before I blow dry. I typically need to use hair spray after I blow dry w/ round brush as it doesn't have enough hold for me after I brush it all out. Blow dry before this completely dries or you'll be very hard to blow dry with your brush. Have been using it for years now and haven't found anything else better as of yet.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight
This is my favorite hairspray. I use it before I blow-dry and it makes my hair feel thicker and stronger. I have very fine, wavy hair and this gives it a great amount of extra volume and texture.

Not just for thin hair. I have really thick, straight hair and this is one of the few products that holds my hair without leaving it crunchy or tacky. Well worth the price.

Why I had I not tried this before? Or, where has this been all of my life? I tried this as a 100pt perk and fell in LOVE. I have thin hair- and this is like magic. I've tried it both before and after blowdrying- and it keeps my hair looking great. The first day I tried this, it was raining outside. Normally, my hair would've been frizzy immediately. When I got to work, I actually said "Oh my gosh!" because my hair looked just as good as when I did my final mirror check. In a short time,this has become my go-to. Just don't use too much since it will weigh down your hair if you're not careful.

This product gives my long, fine hair, tons of volume. It does not feel like i'm spraying a hairspray on my hair; more like a thickening, blowout spray (that actually works). I will be purchasing the full size.

I have thinner and somewhat fine long Asian hair that can easily go flat. I've tried many different mouses, sprays, gels, etc and nothing beats this. I spray a little on the crown of my head and the roots and blow dry upside down and I get amazing volume and lift. It mimics the effects of using large velcro rollers without the hassle. The scent is a little alcohol-y but tolerable. The volume lasts all day and looks Victoria's Secret bombshell. I'm in love.

I normally love this brand, so i jumped at the chance to try the sample, especially since i have thin limp hair.
this stuff is gross, it doesnt really "spray" on hair, more of a nasty stream, so there is no way to get it on evenly, you always get a nasty thick spot with too much.
I tried putting it in my hands and then just adding a little bit where i wanted it. The formula is too sticky, flakes HORRIBLY, and makes my hair crunchy

I've got super straight, super fine hair and am always on the hunt for products that will give my tresses some extra oomph. I started out with a 100pt perk of this hairspray, and very quickly invested in a full sized bottle. A few sprays of this to my damp hair before blow drying gives me wonderful volume and also helps to minimize frizz and flyways. It doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff or sticky at all. It's also nice that this is a non-aerosol hairspray, and although the full sized is pricey, I think it will last quite a while, even with daily use.

I received this as a sample, along with the Living Proof full gift set I bought. The Living Proof made my hair look embarassingly worse to the point people commented on it. However, the B&B hair spray works amazing, full hair, thick, and I notice it the most when I pull it back in a ponytail - normally my thin hair barely holds on in a ponytail holder, now it's thick and sturdy. Love love love. I am using this along with other B&B and Phyto products, it's great.

I have thin and fine hair that is almost shoulder-length. I got this as one of those nifty VIB samples months ago, and began using it every day. Once I ran out, I noticed the difference immediately, and had to order a full sized bottle ASAP. I spray it on my hair while its still wet, and massage it into the roots. It doesn't take much to simply add volume, maybe 6-7 sprays, but for more oomph and style I do use about twice as much. I love this product and never want to be without it again. ;)
