I was looking for a new shampoo because the regular store bought ones have left me with build-up on my scalp. I decided to try bumble and bumble to help with the clarifying issue. The Sunday shampoo is meant for people who wash their hair only once or twice a week. I have long, straight, incredibly fine blonde hair that gets is oily and must be washed daily otherwise I look and feel like a grease monkey. I will be using this shampoo DAILY!!! The first time I tried it I only needed about the size of a quarter and got enough lather to wash my entire head. I love the smell - it is clean and fresh. After shampooing I followed with the bumble and bumble creme de coco conditioner.
I never blow-dry my hair or use any products in it. I have let my hair air dry for my entire life because I hate the feeling of hor air on my head and am too lazy to take the time to do it or style it! With this shampoo it actually looked like a flat ironed my hair once my hair had finally dried all the way through. I have naturally straight hair, but never get results like this! It was shiny, silky smooth, and pin straight with no frizziness or fly-aways! I love it! My scalp is starting to feel better too.
I give this 4 stars only because of the price. $20+ for an 8oz bottle of shampoo is excessive, even if the results are great!

Quick Take: great for once a week use.
This is a great clarifying shampoo. When dry, my hair feels clean and healthy. The only reason I am giving it less than 5 stars, is because it is so good at what it does, it leaves my hair prone to tangling. I have long hair, past my shoulders and very thick. It is a painful process to comb it out after the shower and even when it's dry, the clean strands snag on each other. If you have a tender head, be prepared for troublesome combing later on.

I love using this shampoo on Saturday morning, followed by a deep repair masque. It smells AMAZING, and it definitely removes product build-up without stripping moisture from my hair. This is the first clarifying shampoo I've tried - it does exactly what it says it will do, and I won't be switching anytime soon!

Having just gotten into the idea of "care" and not just styling hair, I have been looking @ for products that makey hairbetter pre style, as to not go overboard with products. This was a bit of an impulse buy, but definitely like it. y lifeless thin oily over producted hair feels cleaner but not dried out as some clarifying shampoos do. So it definitely did the trick, not quite as great as the no. 4clarifying shampoo I also tried which has a few faults of its own, but I would repurchase. It delivers as most b&b products do, I would recommend.

As an African American girl with relaxed hair, I'm always searching for new shampoo. I absolutely love this. It leaves my hair feeling light and CLEAN. I can tell there's no gunk left in my hair afterward. You only need a little bit and it lathers very well. The smell is..neutral. You won't smell like berries but you won't smell horrible either. I don't see why that would matter, considering how well this product works. Unfortunately, I'll have to take a break from it due to my newly dyed hair, but I look forward to using it again.

I have fine, soft hair with dry ends that gets weighed down easily by oil and product buildup. This is the only shampoo ive found that truly clarifies the hair without stripping, and gives me volume. With this shampoo and a little dry powder in between, I can extend my washes to only 2x a week.

Might not be worth the $ but still good

To be honest, I haven't noticed this being any better than drug store clarifying shampoo's I've tried, but it does do the job of removing residue well. I use it as directed, once a week, and my hair is left a little more voluminous and cleaner than normal. Only using this once a week also makes it a money saver which is great.

I got this shampoo about a month ago. I've used it every weekend since (mostly Sundays!) and this is the first time I've actually noticed a difference in my hair when using a different kind of shampoo. Typically I don't find the kind of shampoo I use to be that important to how my hair looks and feels, but this shampoo is the first I've noticed that has made my hair so soft and healthy looking. I will definitely be repurchasing when it's empty!

I have super long, coarse, thick, dry, naturally curly hair. I'd say i also have a dry scalp as i do get dandruffy. Im a once every 5 days washer. When i would use normal shampoo (herbal essense) it would take a ton of product and i'd have to wash it in sections, 2-3 times just to feel like it was clean. After i would wash I would still feel greasy sometimes. I decided to give this shampoo a go just based off the reviews. I'm normally not a reviewer, but let me tell you, this stuff is great!! Not only does a little product go a long way, before i feel like i'm clean, my hair is already squeaking! Literally squeaking clean. Now i dont really use any product in my hair besides kendi oil sometimes, so there isn't any residue to clean off, but it does definitely get my hair and scalp squeaky clean without overdrying my scalp further. My hair isn't near as greasy or dirty looking by the time i'm ready to wash it again with old normal shampoos. I would purchase again when I run out.

I have really thick hair, and I always have to wash my hair every day, but now I can wait up to 4 days to wash it! I was extremely scared to try this product because I have recently died my hair from Brown to Blonde, anyone who has done this knows about the Orange Hair Stage (my current stage) this product specifically says don't use on color treated hair, but when I used it, the orange tint disappeared! This is truly a miracle in a bottle.

After moving to an area with extremely hard water my hair started to feel gross all the time. I went through atleast 10 different brands trying to find a shampoo that didn't leave a residue on my hair. Some expensive brands and some not so expensive. After reading the reviews for Sunday Shampoo I had to try it. I'm on my second bottle. It works so good. I use it with a popular fruity drugstore brand daily conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and feeling extra clean for 3-4 days. I'll admit it is a little pricey but I alternate and use sunday shampoo every other wash. I also use it with an inexpensive condiotioner. The first bottle lasted about 6 months using it once a week.

Let me start off by saying that I have thick, oily, Asian hair. I have used this shampoo twice a week for two weeks now, and I haven't noticed a significance amount of difference in terms of clarifying and taking all of the residue from other shampoos. And my scalp has been really itchy the day after using this. Also, this shampoo does have a weird chemical like scent but it doesn't linger after washing your hair.

I use lots of different styling products, I only wash my hair every couple days and I work out a lot. I use this once every couple of weeks to freshen my hair. It works as it should and it does NOT strip my color. It will last forever. Smells clean, not perfumed.

I have blonde highlights in my dark brown hair, and it seems okay. I don't want to say it's for everyone with color treated hair, but it seems to be okay for me (my colorist uses L'Oreal Professional, don't know if that helps).
I love how it makes my hair feel afterward. Clean, hydrated and fresh.

This is my new favorite shampoo. I don't use a lot of product in my hair; however, I only wash it once a week after applying dry shampoo on a daily basis. My hair is fairly long, fine, thick and shows dirt easily. I previously purchased the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo; however, I was having to wash my hair twice to get it actually feeling clean so I decided to give the Sunday Shampoo a try; I am so glad that I did. This shampoo works up a great lather and one try makes my hair feel so clean. I noticed a welcome difference in how smooth and manageable my hair was once it was dry too. This is a great shampoo!

I always go back to this shampoo. I have oily hair and this product leaves my hair feeling clean. It also has a pleasing scent. You just need a little bit of this product and appreciate that the texture makes it easy to just get a quarter-size amount. Is it expensive, yes. Is it worth it, absolutely! Like the product says- just use it on Sundays!
