I purchased this product based on the reviews after searching for something to clear up my hormonal acne that I wasn't able to get rid of any other way. I have tried proactive, and other greatly reviewed Sephora products, as well as drug store products. This was the most effective with clearing my skin without drying it out. I have gotten a few breakouts since I've been using the product, but my skin has improved A LOT. It isn't over drying at all, and I think the witchhazel works miracles.

I was looking for a new cleanser and decided to try this. I love what it does for my skin. Plus its vegan! I apply to my dry face with wet hands and rub in a circular motion. It removes all my makeup and leaves my skin soft and supple.

How much do I love Dr. Gross' products?? Let me count the ways....
This all in one cleansing foam is gentle, thorough and best of all effective. I have pretty good skin which is more on the dry side with the occasional pimple or too. One pump of this and some gentle lathering is all I need. A quick rinse, a dry pat and voila! My skin feels clean, no residue and definitely not dried out. Even better I haven't had any occasional pimples since using this for the last three weeks! So far very happy! Love Dr. Dennis Gross' products!

This is not for oily, clogged skin that responds well to the Alpha Beta peel. I love the peel pads and thought the rest of the line would be just as awesome. NOT! A drugstore product is just as effective for me. This is way overpriced for what it does. I'll save my money and more of the Alpha Beta peels instead.

THIS FOAMY CLEANSER WAS GREAT. IT CLEARED MY SKIN AND LEFT IT FEELING SO SOFT AND CLEAN. IT REMOVED MY MAKEUP VERY WELL WITH JUST ONE PUMP OF THE FOAM. I TRIED SWITCHING TO THAE ALL IN ONE WITH TONER CLEANSER TO SEE IF IT WOULD EVEN OUT MY SKIN BUT THAT IS A HORRIBLE PRODUCT IT CAUSED ME TO GET MY ACNE BACK. SO NOW I AM GOING BACK TO THIS CLEANSER TO CLEAN UP THE MESS THAT THE ALL IN ONE WITH TONER CAUSED. AWESOME PRODUCT

This cleanser feels so beautifully silky that you feel spoiled as you are washing your face. Acne is enough to deal with emotionally, so to have something make you feel pretty as you are using it AND the fact that it not only rinses off cleanly but that it actually works to fight your breakouts? After using this product for over a year now I'd have to say that if you want to take a chance with ANYTHING in this line of products, it's going to totally be worth your time and money!

Amazing-but expensive

I love this stuff, and have been using it for about 8 months. The first few days it dried out my skin HORRIBLY. After that, though, my face adjusted, and I've only ever gotten a nonirritating, deep down clean after.
As far as acne treatment goes, this is by far the best cleanser I've found. If I have to use something else for some reason(traveling, lack of money, ect), my skin breaks out. This and the Trifix lotion have cleared my skin--give it a try.
Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

I was recommended the line by an aesthetician and was quite pleased with the results. The cleanser does more than a decent job at removing your make up. At least I think so because while it may not feel like it is adequately removing all the grime from your face, my skin has improved since using it. It's been about a month since I've been using it and I would definitely recommend it.

I purchase this product after using the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peels and I have to say it works very well on my skin. I can use this cleanser to wash my makeup off and it doesn't leave any residue or cause my skin to dry out. I am very pleased with this cleanser because it has gotten my acne prone skin under control especially when partnered with other Dr. Dennis Gross products. This product is worth a try if you like the idea of a foaming cleanser.

I started using this product a few summers ago and couldn't believe I was gonna spend that kind of money on cleanser. But this product works great on my combo/oily skin. SO many less breakouts with this stuff. I've had trouble finding it in-store and have had to jump around to other products (I started to think it was discontinued!), but I'm going back to this as soon as I can get my hands on it.

I have combination to oily skin and I was directed to this by a beauty advisor and used it for a little over 2 weeks. Save your money and don't buy this. Your face does not feel clean at all after using this. It did not help my oily skin and did not fight my blemishes as it claims to do. I sent this back!!

I got this as a deluxe sample. This product works great! I have very oily and sensitive skin and usually break out at least once a month (even after having been on accutane yrs ago). I haven't had a pimple at all since I've been using this! It doesn't irritate my skin, and I love being able to skip the toner/cottonball step. With other products, if I forgot to use toner, I would notice the dead skin accumulating that very day. Never w/ this! I can see how it would be drying to people w/ less than problem skin, but for me it works great. I'm no longer an oil-slick by the end of the day!

I hate to see this product get such a low review, but I understand why. This cleanser can be drying but I like it. I am super oily, I use this once a day at night to remove the days grime and makeup and it works great. Removes everything, including all traces of makeup. Because it can be drying I do only use once a day. After I wash I use hope oil free moisturizer and together these work great together. I've noticed less oil but I am also using murads mattifer. All in all I give this 4 stars and will continue to use.

I used this with my clarisonic before but they weren't too compatible. It doesn't lather easily. So I stopped using this cleanser at night but in the morning instead when I don't use my clarisonic. It's pretty gentle on my skin and doesn't irritation me however I have acne prone skin and I didn't see much of a difference with this product. So probably wouldn't purchase again.
