Great product, but package is deceiving

Quick Take: intensive
This is great everyday moisturizer for my skin that gets so dry in places. I love that it has SPF, and a little goes a long way.
A word of caution, however: the package makes it impossible to get out 1/4 to 1/3 of what you've purchased! My tube seemed bone dry, I couldn't get anything out - then I took off the black cap, and I've been using it daily for more than a month. There was that much product hiding in there that wouldn't have dispensed through the cap! Philosophy would do its customers a major favor by redesigning the package. This is why I give only 3 stars - because I almost threw away about $15 worth of product!

usually only use hope in a jar for dry skin, thought for summer would use the one with spf, does not feel anywhere near the same on my skin. will not purchase it again. will stick with the old standby

Quick Take: nourishing., clean.
This makes my skin look and feel nourished an the SPF is effective. There is no weird fragrance. This is not greasy at all. However, I think it is a tad overpriced. It is good quality but the tube it comes in is small. Over all though, it is a good product.

When I first put it on it feels great, but an hour later my my skin is dry again, especially my forehead and cheeks. Almost done with the bottle & have no intentions of buying it again.

Favorite Moisturizer

My skin is normally dry and at it's worse, super dry and flaking. I had problems putting on my foundation since it would start cracking and flaking as well. With this moisturizer, it solved my problems. However, this caused me to break out 2 large acne on my cheek and 1 right below my eyebrow. I had previously used an oil based moisturizer but it wasn't as moisturizing as this.

What can I say awesome! I have dry, sensitive skin, and this is the best day moisturizer that i have ever used. I use the Hope in a Jar for Dry skin at night. NO REDNESS EVER! Try the Philosophy microdermabrasion kit...another super product! I use this in correlation with the Philosophy for dry skin kit...Help Me retinol treatment, cleaner and hope in a jar. LOVE! There hasn't been a similar product that treats my sensitive skin so nice. :-)

I use this in the morning and the version without SPF (for dry skin) at night. These two moisturizers have completely gotten rid of my horrible skin flakes and dry skin. Love them!

My skin gets dry at times, but this was recommended to me for sensitive skin, and it works! Typically sunscreen makes me break-out regardless of brand or intensity. This one - I can wear all year long with no issues.

This is my 3rd tube of this stuff and I absolutely love it. I tried MW w/ SPF 55 but boy did my skin not like it. So I went back to HIAJ for Dry Skin w/ SPF to correct the damage. I don't think I would call it an extra-rich moisturizer as I'm not that dry and it works just fine for me.

this is my favorite moisturizer/sunscreen.
It smells great, absorbs completely and is a perfect everyday
cream. It's the only sunscreen that I have ever used that doesn't leave a whitish hue to the face. I swim in chlorine a lot and really need the extra rich formula. It's great!
