Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I love Living Proof products. I've been using the primer and it works wonderfully. I have fine hair but a lot of it so I need something that will give me body but control. This product does it. It's light and fluffy out of the can and stays beautfully in my hair. I can blow dry it and flat iron it and it still stays voluminous all day. And layered over the Living Proof primer my hair doesn't feel sticky or weighed down and still stays soft!

I was very disappointed in this product. I comes out very slow and watery and I don't care for the smell of it. My hair is curly and I do not dry it so when I put on this product and let my hair dry it because sticky and flat. Would like to return it.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
Received a sample of this from somewhere and I am always on the lookout for something that will 'boost' my baby-fine hair without destroying it, so I gave it a shot. The sample was nice, so I bought this full sized version. My hair appears thicker without becoming dry or gooey.

Quick Take: lightweight
This mousse definitely gives my thin hair more body without being crunchy or dulling the shine. I don't use this to add thickness, but to add body to my existing wavy hair and create more waves with scrunching technique. I love this product!

Quick Take: lightweight
Gives my hair a good boost whenever I use it. I find I can still run my hands through my hair and it doesn't weigh it down. Not really into the smell though.

I really wanted this to work! It has the same scent as the other Full product items, which is light and pleasant. However, the mousse came out rather thin and sticky, which is what I can now say to describe my hair. I cannot wait to wash it out!!! Oh well, at least it was only the sample size.

As far as after products this one is one of my favorites. I cannot use any of the shampoo/conditioners from any line due to stripping and drying but I have fine hair and it is between my shoulder and my chin and this is a wonderful product. My hair doesn't; feel weighted down or dry and brittle when I am done with this product. I had originally tired the cream and really like that one if I have to travel but sometimes ended up getting too much in one area, so this is very helpful to avoid that. I use a blow dryer with mine and haven't used it to air dry, but my hair is not sticky at all. it looks full and thick and even my kids notice when I don't use it. I would recommend this product if you are looking to amp up your locks. Don't forget the cut makes a difference too

I wanted to love this product and was excited to try it on my new short haircut, but it was much too sticky. It made my hair feel gross and unmanageable. I did not see much difference in volume either nor was it very lightweight.

I long ago lost track of how many products I've tried to add volume and style-holding ability to my fine, straight hair. Wearing it fairly short and always color-treated and using 2-3 styling products worked well when I was doing all that. But I no longer color it, and I'm wearing it just above shoulder length, so I've returned to my search for a good volumizing product.
This Living Proof mousse is fantastic! All I want is a product that will give my hair enough body and texture to hold a style in for the day. This mousse not only gave my hair great texture and holding power, it prolonged the time I can go between shampoos. Instead of the 2-3 days maximum I used to be able to go until my hair got so oily it looked wet, I can now go four days, five if it's not very humid. I've never experienced this with any hair product!
I use it a bit differently than directed. I work a palm-full through all of my towel dried hair, then I let my hair air-dry (or sometimes blow it) until it's almost completely dry. I then roll it on jumbo & large self-stick type rollers and then blow it completely dry (if I'm lazy I just let it air dry with the rollers in). After I take the rollers out, I flip my hair upside down and spray it as needed. That will usually get me through a day. On the next couple or three days, I use a smaller amount of mousse, working it through my hair to get it just a tad moist, then use the rollers again. I've been amazed that there has been no build-up of product in my hair to weigh it down OR make it look greasy. In fact, it seems to somehow keep my hair from getting oily, so I can actually go at least a day longer (I've gone two days) than I ever could have previously before my hair starts getting flat and oily. I am truly amazed at this stuff.
I do wish it cost a bit less, but I'll live with the expense to get the longer-lasting body and hold I've gotten. I'll be trying more LP products for sure!

I really like this product and buy it regularly. The mousse creates volume and hold—even after a night's sleep. The finish is matte, so your hair won't be shiny.

Quick Take: lightweight, flexible, lasts long
This is a great volumizing product. I have fine, curly hair. I use this product whether I am wearing my hair curly or straight. It works great either way. Most of the time I don't even use anything else with it. I sometimes use some gel with this product if I am wearing my hair curly. Love this stuff!

The Living Proof Mousse doesn't do anything spectacular. It doesn't weigh hair down even when I applied a lot of product, but I didn't notice it do much to add volume to my hair. It doesn't make hair look greasy like some others, and I personally thought the smell wasn't too bad (although if you have a sensitive sense of smell, it might bother you). However, I have medium to long hair and I had to use a TON of this stuff to get it evenly distributed so it only lasted about a month and a half. Will need to find something that lasts longer at such an expense.

I hate this mousse. The first time, I let my hair air dry. The second time, I used a diffuser plus anti-frizz serum. In both occasions, my hair was a frizzy mess. I had that "triangle hair" effect. And my hair felt a bit coarse afterwards, but not in a good way. Never again.

not for fine hair

I was so exciting to try this range products, cos I always want to make more volume for my very fine straight hair. This mousse didn't work at all! My review is opposite to the most rave ones....I think, because of type of the hair...It is too sticky... and I put only on roots. Smells over powering. Had to return.
