i used Clinque's three step system when i was a pre-teen and some how got away from it. I forgot how great it is. Noticeable difference after the first use.

This has done wonders for my skin!
Ever since I was ten years old I've suffered from awful acne. I've tried EVERYTHING, with little to no luck! Lot's even made my skin worse.
I always envied the other girls at school with perfect skin, I felt like they all had some secret they weren't sharing.
Let me tell you, this is it! (Well Benzoyl Peroxide, and Moisturizer too)
This is such a simple routine to follow, and results only take a couple weeks.

It is amazing how much make up and dirt are left behind even after you wash your face; I love the feeling of real clean after I apply the toner. I would say the moisturizer is good but not the best.

I received this kit in a sample package with enough products to last over a week. The cleanser and toner were great, but the moisturizing lotion made me break out. It was only after the breakout that I read it's for DRY skin. I have some dry skin, but I have to be very careful with how I moisturize. My neck is loving it, though!!

My skin is very dry and I can only use the clarifying lotion every other day or my skin gets too dried out. I purchased two of the lotion bottles because I use twice as much to keep my skin moisturized. But so far I really love the face wash. It takes my makeup off great!

Quick Take: good value
I really like the cleanser and clarifying lotion, but the moisturizer really dried out my skin. It left my skin feeling flaky and the consistency is really watery. I still use the first two steps, but I use a Body Shop moisturizer instead of the one this system includes.

Dried out my skin after thrid use

When I first used this 3 step skin care line, I absolutely loved it! My skin was soft.. for two days. Then I started noticing more dry patches all over my chin area and cheek area. Turns out the step #2 toner/ exfoliator has alcohol in it, which will dry up your skin. They recommend to use this process two times a day both morning and night. I would recommend to skip the toner and use it only three times a week, so your skin will not dry out as fast. I also did not think the moisturizer (step #3) was moisturizing enough. All in all, I wished I had purchased an even smaller kit or had samples rather than purchasing this size of a kit. I will not be re-purchasing this kit or items from clinique.

I've been using this 3-Step Skin Care System for several weeks now, and I'm noticing a huge improvement in my dry, flaky skin. My face looks and feels healthier now. A word of advice: go very lightly on the toner, because it is extremely drying, especially if your skin is sensitive like mine.
Unfortunately, the whiteheads on my forehead are still there. I guess the 3-Step Skin Care System can't fix everything!

I purchased this product package from the Pentagon city mall. I use light foundations and treatments for face. Clinique step 1 really cleans so nothing left behind.Step 2 exfoliates the skin gently and fresh surface is visible. The step 3 brightens and gives moisture to the skin to comfort feel. The step 3 is very small pack, I wish it is double it's size. So all 3 will finish at the same time. I use Clinique system every other day and my face significantly look fresher, lighter and feel better.

I have tried so many different products from drugstore to high-end to clear the acne on my forehead. I have combination skin and all of my breakouts are located on my forehead. I switched to the Dermalogica range because it was supposed to be gentle and effective, but I still had breakouts.
I've been using this system for 2 weeks and have not had a single breakout since I started. I have some scars left on my forehead, but they are starting to fade as well. I am completely blown away by the effectiveness of this system!

I tend to have dry combination skin. You would not believe how much money and effort I have put into trying to find something that actually worked for me. After a while my mother would ask me what the point was in putting in all this work to find, in her words, just soap. All I said to her was, every girl wants to have the most prettiest perfect skin. I really love this Clinique 3 step skincare system. To be honest, the soap ins't exactly "special". It felt like any other sensitive skin soap to me. But the real kicker is the moisturizer. It is amazing. It leaves my skin so soft and un-irritated. I just love feeling my skin after I use it. I will defiantly buy it again!

The face wash is average, I felt like there was nothing special about it. I liked the clarifying lotion the first time I used it, but then it started making my skin really red and irritated (probably just because I have super sensitive skin). However, I am IN LOVE with the moisturizer. My skin feels so soft and my makeup applies so smooth after using it. If you're on the fence about this because of the price I suggest just buying the moisturizer, it is worth every penny.

I've only been using this for less than a week but I could already see a difference after a day. I have acne-prone dry-combination skin and this system has my skin feeling and looking better than it ever has. All the tiny micro breakouts on my forehead and near my nose are gone. The gel is moisturizing but not oily-fying, leaving my skin soft to the touch. I have never written a review for a product online ever, so this stuff must be good! I'm beginning to think its possible that I might actually have what's considered "good skin" for once. The only thing is, since I started using this, I still get the occasional pimple. One on my forehead and one on my chin. Then again, this could be due to my hormonal cycle. Also, the product never claimed it was capable of eliminating pimples completely.

I have used the Clinique 3-Step Skin Care System for about 4 years now on and off. I noticed a difference when I first started and every time I go back to it I remember why I love it so much! I have combination dry skin and for the most part this makes my skin feel very comfortable. Sometimes the lotion isn't moisturizing enough in the colder months, but other than that it is amazing! Clinique is my go to skin care brand and I'd recommend their products to anyone with any type of skin!!

Be Advised, Toner not for sensitive skin

Quick Take: worth the price, not for sensitive skin, smells nice
Although I enjoy most clinque products and have had good results in the past, this product was not the greatest experience for me. I do have dry combination skin and I tried the free 2 day sample of this product with great results, my face felt hydrated and so smooth! But I'm guessing I can't use it everyday, day and night as it directed because 4 days into using the full size version of this product, my face broke out horribly! It may have been the toner they provide is too harsh for every day/every other day or maybe its the moisturizer that isn't right for me but I'm still waiting for my face to go back to normal before I try it again...but honestly I'm too afraid to test it on my skin again. I don't recommend this (at least the toner) for sensitive skin.
The soap is good, not fragranced and my face felt clean but it became dry super fast, so a moisturizer is a must, but you run out of the moisturizer way before you run out of soap, so always keep another back up moisturizer or face creme handy.

This has been my only skincare routine for a year I am sad to say I was disappointed as I love cliniqe products...I'm only 22 and I've noticed fine ones in my forehead with this product and very irritated dry patches around my nose (even with the moisturizer!) I stopped using this for two weeks and had horrible break outs way worse than before....not a fan unfortunately

Just received a sample pack of the 3 step system. Quite happy with the cleanser and the moisturizer. I found the clarifying toner quite drying and makes my face feel like it is burning. I will continue using the cleanser and moisturizer but will save the toner in case I ever feel oily.
