Great prep before moisturizer

I was at the Laura Mercier counter at another store to ask about their primer (as I love the tinted moisturizer). I explained that I had been getting these random dry patches on my face and the woman suggested I try this, and assured me if I didn't notice a difference within 3-4 days I could return it. I am not kidding when I say the dry patches were gone in one day and as of day two, the redness it also going away. Whatever is in it is hydrating and helps my own moisturizer soak into my skin better. I do three sprays and pat it around my face, then apply eye cream and my facial moisturizer. Doesn't leave my face feeling greasy, just very hydrated. I won't ever go without this!

Quick Take: refreshing, non-drying, calming, cooling, hydrating
my girlfriends & I cannot live without this product! everything we put on our skin after the water (serum/lotion/cremes) go on so much better & deeper into the skin. Plus in the summer I leave it in my fridge so it is extra cool when I need a little spritz :)

Good product, but could have been the cause to my slight breakout which I never get. Maybe just not the product for me. I have normal skin and love LM products, but this and the oil just were not a match.

Perfect toner/essence for oily acne prone skin

I have the most dehydrated & sensitive acne-prone skin and this mist helps my skin stay hydrated all day. Note that this is NOT a true mist (i.e. Evian, Avene, La Roche Posay mists). This is more of a light essence you can "spray" directly onto your skin and gradually layer. This feels light on skin and non-irritating. After my skin broke out from various oils (argan oil mostly), I decided to use gentle chemical based products and this mist solved my problem. After simplifying my skincare to just this mist as my main day/night time moisturizer and Laura Mercier's one step foaming cleanser, my skin started to clear up. I hope Laura Mercier NEVER discontinue this product! I'm ordering my second bottle now.

Expensive but well worth it

I have oily/combination skin, but it's pretty darn dry where I live in winter. This is perfect for winter! I love how my face feels after the mist. It's thicker than water, but not thick-ish than other toners/lotions. My skin is well hydrated for a whole night. The only thing I don't like is the price... it just takes some effort to buy.

I purchased this spray with the idea of it providing long lasting moisture to my dry thirsty skin. Well, it does for about 3 hours. The mist is fine, it does not have an offensive smell. For this price I rather purchase urban decay's dew me, at least that would set my makeup. I would not repurchase.

I love Laura, but this was a disappointment. I live in a dry climate, so I was hopeful it would hydrate my skin, but I didn't see any benefit. :( There were no negatives and it definitely is more than water, but the major benefit was refreshment. and that you get could probably come from a spritz of tap water.

Amazing For Dry Skin

I was skeptical about the moisturizing qualities of this spray, but it is truly amazing. The consistency is thicker than water and thinner than an oil or gel. I use it each time I wash my face before applying my serum and moisturizer. It leaves a wonderfully light and silky layer of moisture on my skin and even allows both my serum and moisturizer to better moisturize my dry skin. I cannot leave without this fantastic product, despite it's rather high price tag.

I am not sure what is in this WATER? but my skin loves it! You see your skin ...look hydrated and softened with the first use. It is worth the price...last a long time. On second bottle...will not do without. Makes a Huge Difference on my face and how my skin accepts products. Got to try it...if you don't like it...send any unused portions to ME!...but I don't do refunds

I have normal/dry skin that turns all over dry in the winter, and I use this right before I apply moisturizer and serum and it really does help my skin stay hydrated.

It moisturizes well but I feel that it provides to strong of a mist. I just can't get used to how strong the spray is, and I believe that it actually dispenses too much product with each spray. It provides a fine mist and moisturizes quite well but for $38, it's just not worth the price.

i do like this i have dry skin so i notice i am getting more hydration. i recommend this product with any serum or moisturizer so you can get the most out of your products.

This doesnt smell that great and it feels almost oily and the spray is like a water hose. I like toners that have a herbal smell and a light mist so I took this back. Might be perfect for some people but not for me.

I love facial mists, especially in the summer. We live in the hot humid Southeast, and facial mists keep me looking cool and collected, when everyone else around me looks as if they're about to wilt or looks sweaty and unkempt. Laura Mercier's Flawless Skin Perfecting Water Moisture Mist is excellent. It hydrates my skin well, and feels cooling when applied. While this mist is made to prepare skin for treatments and serums, it's also excellent on its own. It's also good in winter, because it helps protect skin against dry winter heat, by adding additional moisture to the skin. I use a variety of toners and facial mists, and find this one to be excellent in comparison to many of the others.

I don't usually review things right away... but I"m in love with this toner. I have really dry skin, and just after one use, I feel my skin being hydrated.
My mom even asked me why my skin looked so refreshed.

I love this stuff. Initially I was skeptical because, well, it's called "water," but after having a makeup artist use it before applying my makeup, I am sold. It feels so good! I often use it and then find I don't need a moisturizer after spritzing this.
