Quick Take: natural looking
As a very fair skinned ginger with pink undertones to my skin, I thought bronzer could not be for me. This product proved me wrong! I love it! It looks so natural and works with your own rosy tones. Not something to pass up if you think that bronzer isn't for you.

I have a light complexion with pink undertones and purchased Dawn Light. This bronzer is perfect because you can build up how much product you would like to use and it looks very natural. The brush that comes with the compact is very soft, but I do use a different brush to apply.

Buildable, soft brush, natural.... I have a very pale complexion, and so I was unwilling for a long time to try bronzer. But this bronzer is exactly what I had in mind, and in the future I will try other Shiseido products.

Quick Take: matte finish, natural looking
I really like this bronzer. I bought it in shade 01, the lightest, so that I can either wear it as is or build up to something a bit stronger/darker. Most of the bronzers I have tried turn me orange, but this one doesn't! Definitely worth a try! The bronzer applies matte and is very natural looking.

This is the best bronzer I have ever tired, and I tried them all from budget friendly to luxury ones. I have this bronzer in number 2, it gives my face a very healthy, sun-kissed look and most importantly it looks natural.

I purchased the 2 and 3 color. It is the smoothest powder bronzer, and literally transforms skin. I have mild adult acne, that is totally dependent on products I use. I usually wear Bare Minerals but their bronzers are either too fakey, or shimmery to be the best. This product does not bother my skin at all! If you are deciding between colors.... I have caucasian skin but always maintain a believable tan via spray tanning. The color 2 is too similar to my overall face color. The 3 is tanner, but in a good way, to contour face. If you do not have tan skin, then 2 is so universally flattering, promise! The lightest color must be reaaaaaally light, if you have porcelain skin, then that would be a good color for you. Hope that helps. GET THIS PRODUCT, IT IS A GAME CHANGER! =)

I have very sensitive skin and I was using Benefit's Hoola, but there were days when it would make my face itch or I would apply it too heavily and my face would look dirty. Shiseido's bronzer is amazing. I used the included brush and it glides on easily, wears well all day and never irritates my skin.
It is pricey, but I have been using it every day for 3 months now and it barely looks like any product is missing. I imagine this will last me well over a year.

Natural, oil-free, & good for people w/ fair skin

As I have fair skin and am prone to redness from time to time, I usually have a hard time finding a bronzer that looks natural. I also have combination skin (more on the dry side, but I still get oily in various areas like my chin, forehead and sometimes nose), I didn't want anything too shiny or greasy.
Shiseido's compact bronzer works well for me as it's oil free and looks natural. No orange glow! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the brush. The tiny brush that comes with compact doesn't do a good job in applying the bronzer! I have a Kabuki-style brush that I like to use, but it might be nice if Shiseido enlarged the compact so a fuller brush could be included. Still I would recommend this product, especially to fair-skinned people (get shade #1).

I wanted to love this bronzer. Heard so many good things about it but i found it to be too peachy for me. I am fair skinned and my friends thought that it didn't compliment my skin tone.

I was looking for a new bronzer and, honestly, didn't even think to look at Shiseido! I love their skincare, but when I saw all these amazing reviews I felt like I had to try it. I love the color. I'm on the darker side of fair and I use #2. Not orange at all -- it's a nice bronze, sunkissed color. I use the Sephora Classic Bronzer Brush #44 and it gives a great airbrush finish. I think I would go as far to say that this is comparable to the Guerlain bronzer. lol Definitely worth a try!! :D

This is the first bronzer I've ever tried that doesn't make me look ruddy or orange (I'm an NC 30 at MAC) and I've tried a lot of different brands on the market. I had just about given up when I read a review here that this bronzer exceeded their expectations. I have combination skin that tends to get oily throughout the day and the colour didn't change. Will definitely repurchase again!

Although this is a rather spendy bronzer, it is probably the best I've ever purchased!!! The shimmer is minimal, the tan is realistic on my fair skin, and I actually use the brush that it came with!!! Normally I ignore the included brushes as they are rough and do not apply makeup very well, but decided to try it after reading the other reviews. It worked so well, I didn't take my regular bronzing brush on vacation to save space. I definitely plan on purchasing this again!

i like this bronzer, but it's not amazing. the brush is close to useless as it draws a more narrow line than I'd like. i find myself blending quite a bit after i add an additional pinkish blush.

Quick Take: perfect bronze
Got shade 2 and am soo pleased! The color is a true bronze with no orange tinge. The formula is smooth, well pigmented, and easy to apply with one swipe. The included brush is surprisingly high quality with soft bristles. I have bronzers from lancome, benefit, Laura mercier, nars, etc. and this is my fave. I am Asian with NC 25-30 skin tone.

I really like the quality of this bronzer. I truely agrees when Dick Paige started with Shiseido, the line becoming more interesting nowadays. I got it in no 2 and 3. No 2 is more of a light brown bronzer. No 3 is more terracottaish. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars, because, I do feel, it fades quickly. Therefore, the idea of carrying this bronzer in your purse is good for touch up. The brush is very soft and excellent. No 3 is the most pigmented one, I can use it as a blush. I think it's great to mix both no 1 and 2 together like Michael Kors Spring 2012 runway makeup. But, I haven't tried no 1, yet.

Im fair to medium and I got this in the dark color (I always end up getting bronzers that don't bronze me!!). Anyway, this is fabulous - no orange, just a nice sunkissed brownish-red that looks fabulous. Oh, and it really is oil free, I have a huge oil problem (check out my username). People keep asking me how vacation was! I tell them it's a great bronzer :)

Quick Take: beautiful gives healthy color to my face, not muddy good for most skin colors
Comes in a mirrored comact w/ a great brush (rare) most don't have this at such a good price! I'm light skinned and it is not orange nor muddy w/ a hint a tiny shimmer..can hardly it has shimmer on the skin, it just makes me looks so nice and healthy. I have many and go to this one and have it in my purse b/c of the ease of the comact and brush. The powder is simply a perfect color and buildable. LOVE IT! where have I been? Will buy again.

I love this bronzer, it is fool proof! I purchased number 2 light dawn and it is the perfect color for me. I have fair to light skin but it is dark enough that it will easily bronze my skin when I have a bit of a tan. If you are super fair go with the number 1. It is matte which is the way you want to go. No one wants to look like a disco ball when stepping into the sun, save the illuminzing product for something else. The packaging is not the prettiest out there but it has a lip around the pad of bronzer so it keeps the dust in place. Comes with an excellent brush. This is a favorite! Plus is is totally buildable, but still gives a nice natural tanned look. Great for all skin types including oily!
