Quick Take: soft bristles, soft but firm, great for concealer, perfect with cream & powder shadows, best brush ever!
I honestly got this brush to apply concealer, to replace the $2.99 Avon cream eye shadow brush that I have been using for years for this purpose. I love the shape, it's perfect for getting a precision application of concealer under me eyes, on blemishes, etc. It's also perfect for cream and powder shadows, works perfectly for lids, creases, and lining. Best $17 I've ever spent! If you're looking for a good concealer brush, or a multi-tasker...this is the brush for you! I'm going to order 2 more, just cuz!

however if u are on a budget and already have that shape brush like the sephora s newest line then u can use that.but if u are a makeup fanatic like me u want everything to match and be perfect then its super cute combo set

I love this brush, and the other shadow brush from Buxom too!
it's idiot proof, it's beautiful, cute, well made, and very stylish! I love the case, the brush is soft and LOADED with bristles, and I've not had shedding. It makes the shadow apply cleanly and evenly, ANYONE can do a smokey eye with this with no problem I'm sure. It's a great brush, I go for it every day. This brush and the Buxom stay put shadow brush, they are my 2 go to brushes I always use on my lid and to create beautiful smokey looks and deep lovely creases. great.

Quick Take: not your typical blending brush
I love a good blender brush and this is not your typical blender brush. This one keeps things nice and tight instead of diffusing/blending colors like most typical blending brushes. I like to use it for a dark crease when I'm creating a smoky eye. I'm really glad I've got it!

I received this in the Buxom Smoky Eye Kit. (came without the case). This is an awesome brush. I love the smoky eye look and this definetly helps get it done. I have not mastered being uble to use it under eye very well...maybe your not suppose to? None the less love the brush....it's almost perfect only b/c I haven't been able to use it very well under lower eye. Worth the money though!

I'd actually never really owned a precise brush like this, but decided to give this one a try. I absolutely love it. I feel the brush is enough to create sharp edges, but soft to blend and have some forgiveness with mistakes. It holds color very well, I find that my eye looks have evolved with this brush because of the control. I think it creates a beautiful smoky eye as well without the Buxom eye stick, any shadow and liner seems to work with this brush! I highly recommend!

Got this with the Samantha Collection, Such a good deal, I love the Samantha collection, this is meant for the Smokey stick but has done great with my Shadows.
I do recommend this product. It's my favorite brush

Got this w/ the trio eye sticks. It blends but you would have to blend for like 5 minutes each eye. Also, I would call this more "raccoon" eye brush. I agree w/ others. It is too soft and big to make your eyes acceptable-to-go-in-public-smokey.

i really liked this little brush. i find it very easy to use and is a great little crease brush or eye shadow smudger. i think it does what its advertised to do...so im pretty pleased with it. i also like the size too, it fits perfectly into my little makeup pouch i put in my purse

I like this brush - it's good quality...my only complaint is that it's not as stiff as I would have wanted it to be (I use it more as an eyeliner smudger). It works great for blending out shadow in your crease tho!

I agree with others who feel this is a waste of money. I love, love, love the buxom smokey eye stick except for the fact it doesn't stay pointed. I got this brush hoping I could use it with the stick to line my eyes, but it's not firm or thin enough, it puts hardly any on and you can't restrict it to the lash line, it spreads all out. It may be good for applying the stick all over the eyelid but I prefer shadow on the eyelid. So, if you want to use it as a liner don't waste your money!

This brush is perfect to achieving smoky eyes. It works well with its shadow counterpart, but may require a lot of smudging because the shadow is heavy duty. The brush was even different to the Sephora brand which wasn't as tapered to this one. A little pricey for a brush but its a keeper!

I use this all the time with the smoky eye stick. I bought the smoky eye stick and saw that I should buy this brush. I went back and forth and decided to go ahead and purchase the brush. I am so glad that I did. This really helps make the eye stick go from just an eye liner into so much more. I mean if you are skilled at eyes then you may not need it but for me I need help.
