So I have had this little bottle for about a year now. I'm not in love with it but it wasn't a bad buy. It's really sheer and feels really moisturizing which I really liked. I tried the laura mercier oil free primer and fell in love with that one. I felt it help even out my skin more than this primer. Does not create a matte finish. It's sort of dewy and fresh looking. Or on me it was.

Amazing primer. Beautiful on oily skin types, but does a wonderful job of smoothing out dry skin as well. Makes any large pores disappear and hands down has made my make-up last longer than any other primer (I've tried a total of 9 primers to date). Also, have tried it with both liquid and powder/mineral foundation and I thought it worked fine for both but better with liquid foundation. The price is a little much for only 1 oz, but a little does go a long way, so I forgive the price.

I have very sensitive, combo/oily, golden brown skin. For the longest time, I could not find a primer that my skin wouldn't have a reaction to. The closest I came was the Hourglass mineral primer, which is fantastic, except that it leaves a white cast on the skin. And like Hourglass, the Perfekt primer is pretty expensive. So after reviewing the ingredients and the ratings on this product, I decided to give it a go. For starters, it has the consistency of a light-weight lotion. It applies smoothly, evenly, and dries to a slight matte finish. My makeup blends beautifully over top and lasts all day. I still get a little shiny, but not as much as I would without it. From the tube, it pours out white, but smoothes on completely clear, and does not reflect in a photo flash. The best part is no breakouts! This is absolutely worth the money.

Quick Take: fast-absorbing
I wanted to try a different primer so decided on the Nars. I must say that it absorbs into the skin in seconds so you can apply your make-up quickly. Other brands Ihave had to wait almost 15 minutes to absorb , but not the Nars. Also, the make-up looks flawless.

I use this primer on the weekdays, and then Benefits Porefessional on the weekends. Love this primer, I can definitely tell that my make-up is lasting through the day, whereas before I was lucky to make it through lunch. Goes on very light.

Quick Take: lightweight
This primer does nothing for my skin. My t-zone is very oily and after applying the primer, my nose and forehead are shiny within an hour. The search for the right primer for my skin continues....

I'm almost out of my first bottle of this and I will purchase it again. I put on my makeup in the morning and don't touch it for the rest of the day. This keeps the shine to a minimum without any blotting or powder after my first applications. I love it!

I bought this product on pure luck. I was looking for the NARS multi-protect primer, but was saddened when the store didn't stock it. Today, I decided to try this primer and it was AMAZING!
I had put the primer early in the morning and it felt like nothing was on my face! i dislike tacky oily sensations from other primers. After 12 hours (including an intense 3-hr cardio workout), my make-up had still looked perfect!
Totally worth the price!

I've used every single primer available at Sephora and any other department store and can confidently say this primer is by far the best! If you are looking for an even finish, oil control, smoothness, pore reduction or basically just a magical product that makes any makeup look that much better then look no further. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

I use this primer everyday and I love it! I know a lot of people don't see the point of using a face primer and to be honest, I don't think it is a must have. But my makeup does last. I use this as a primer, a BB cream or tinted moisturizer, my MUFE Pro Finish Powder and either my MUFE mist and fix or UD All Nighter Setting Spray. My makeup will last ALL day long. It does not move for over 12 hours. I'm not giving all the credit to my face primer, I think it is a combination of everything I use but I like my routine. So if you are wanting to try a face primer, you should get this or the MUFE HD Primer. But this is way better than the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I have combination skin and I haven't had any issues with it breaking out my skin. So maybe go to your local Sephora and get a sample of this to make sure it works with your skin. Hopefully you will love it as much as I do!

Great product. I ve been using the smashbox primer, but i stopped using it because it didnt do anything for me, plus it leaves my skin with a oily/silicony sensation.
These primer is super light, a little goes a long way (thank god because it is super small for the price), it leaves my face with a clean tight sensation, not oily at all (and i have oily skin) it made my makeup hold on.

Not long lasting at all

I received a sample of this, which I LOVED. It made my face feel tighter and just clean. So when I ran out of primer I ran to get this. Sadly the full size didn't work nearly as well, I have no idea what happened. By noon my face feels oily, and my foundation looks cakey. Which I don't even have oily skin to begin with. I am so disappointing. I've noticed that Nars face products don't have the best staying power, including their foundations.
