Quick Take: non-drying
Love the way this looks. A mostly matte, doesn't become flaky and a really beautiful color (I got 001 which is a perfect blue-based red. I first tried 003 but it was too pink for me). It is NOT a stain, though. Comes off far too easily. Stays on better than a normal lipstick, though, so I'd consider it a step between lipstick and stain. Love this so much, though! Will go back for more colors.

Quick Take: long lasting, non-drying, the perfect red
After searching for what felt like years for the perfect red, I stumbled upon the BEST red lip color ever. I have bought soooooooo many other red lipsticks/ stains/ glosses and was so let down. I was looking for a long-lasting matte red lip color, that didn't turn after a couple hrs wear- and I found it in this sephora cream lip stain (color 01)!!!

Quick Take: non-drying, long lasting
I shied away from Sephora Collection products, preferring the brand names.... until this Lip Stain came along.
I bought the 01 red colour and it is the BEST bold red lipstick I have ever had. it goes on very matte (perfect for the old school hollywood look, or as a base for some gloss over top) and STAYS. for hours. through eating, drinking, whatever. As a bonus, the red makes teeth look whiter.
one thing to note - there is so much pigment here and it holds fast - buy the matching Sephora lipliner and use first, and then fill in with this lipstain - otherwise it can be a bit unforgiving if you make a mistake in application.

Fabulous Red Lipstick for Redheads!

Quick Take: long lasting, high impact
I bought this lip stain as it was recommended by another fair-skinned redhead and I have always wanted to wear red lipstick but was a bit nervous given my coloring. It is phenomenal! A true red that garners a lot of compliments, including that it makes my eyes pop. Lasts for HOURS, even through eating & drinking. Can leave lips a bit dry after removing, so be sure to moisturize afterwards. I love this lipstain!

Quick Take: long lasting
I love love love this lip stain. I got it in the color Always Red and I wear it constantly. It can be a little drying but my lips tend to always be a little on the dry side. This stuff is amazing though. It stays on all night, it's not going anywhere. It smells really good too!

Definitely long lasting - easily at least 5 hours, including through meals.
Only thing to watch out for is it is a bit difficult to apply if you aren't careful. The products applies so easily that just trying to adjust a corner or so can easily have it smooshed all over my face.

Quick Take: long lasting
This product lives up to its name, in a good way. I have several shades but the one that has performed the best for me so far has been Always Red. It sets quickly, stays put and wears very long, even through a meal. Wears more comfortably and contains more product than a similar brand with similar colors that also purports to stay all day for about half the price. The only con is that there are not more diverse color options.

I wanted a stain for clients and photo shoots that stayed put but was also comfortable. A fellow makeup artist suggested I try this and I love it!! It is easy to apply, lasts quite a long time and doesn't dry out the lips. Thumbs up!! And you can't beat he price!!

Stays very long, smells nice, and the color is solid which is hard to find in a lip stain. I bought this instead of the Make-Up Forever lip stain and I'm happy I did, its half the price and it stays just as well. I now own five of these.

I have always worn red lipstick & this is the best tone of red ever & to think that it does not come off easily is wonderful.

I have literally been searching for the perfect red lipstick but to my surprise it would be a lip stain rather than lipstick. I found a review about it on youtube from women of many different ethnicity which triggered my buy because its RARE to find a red lipstick that looks great on all shades of women. Went into Sephora tried it on bought it & been in love ever since the endless purple is beautiful as well

True red true to its name

I recently bought this is true red and I love it! The matte texture accentuates lips an makes them appear fuller. The color is bright and the lack of sheen keeps it from looking to much like a clown. I've gotten so many compliments everywhere I wear this color! I've tried myriads of color stay lipsticks in red and although this doesn't stay on as long as other brands (it leaves a tiny bit of residue when drinking or eating) I still love the color and feel that it's worth the price because of the texture and color. I would definitely recommend this product!

I've been using this lip stain for about three years now and I love it. It can be a little messy since the lip stain is very creamy but in the end the color is very bold and it lasts for a while.

I have this product in practically every color made - the brightest colors stay on all day - even thru one or two sweaty Zumba classes a day! LOVE this product - Sephora - if you ever decide to discontinue you better give me LOTS of notice so I can stockpile!

I have tried every drugstore and high-end department store long lasting lipstick. The problem is always the same, it's dry and it always Rolls up on your lips into little blobs. Not the case with this one. I put it on in the mornings and top it with my YSL gloss and all I do during the day Is touch up the gloss. My only complaint is there are not enough colors I would love a red that has less orange in it and more shades of berry. But this is hands-down the best I have ever tried and the price can't be beat.

I was a little hesitant to buy this at first.... I wanted a lip color that truly stayed on my lips like advertised.... and this one did not disappoint! In fact, you do need to be careful when applying, because if you should make a mistake, you'll need to touch-up quickly! I got the matte which I love but I can also add a clear gloss over and the color does not bleed or go away. It applies nice and smooth and doesn't feel drying like some 'stains' I've had. I now have a few colors. Get it.

The formula for these lip stains are incredible & amazing. The color is so pigmented & it dries on your lips & stays for HOURS. I currently have it in the color Always Red & it is the best red lip color I have ever owned. Usually lip stains dry my lips out but this one doesn't & I fell in love from day 1. I highly highly recommend this & I will definitely be purchasing more colors in the near future. I can not rave about it enough, it's a definite must have for everyone :)
