Quick Take: awesome
Awesome product. Like any teeth whitening system, you may experience sensitivity, but it is very minor and hardly noticeable. This product allows you to get the shade of white you want in your own home. It does an amazing job and is super convenient and easy to use. Best purchase I have made so far.

Quick Take: pretty good so far
Bought this for my 16yr old daughter, who's teeth were really stained. We actually saw a 'big' difference after the 3 day session. The only downfall is the gel sticks, they are not easy to use; and there was a little gum sensitivty(which is why we didnt do the 4 to 5 day session as recommended).

I am obsessed with white teeth. I have used the strips and what not but they don't go very far across the teeth. This piece goes much further and it works great! The only issue I have is having to spend 45min/day (that's four rounds of it) for the first 5 days to get your "desired shade" then up-keep is 1 round every week (each round is only 8 min...). Not too bad though. And it comes with ten packs (each pack has four rounds) meaning that if you buy just this set and do it as requested, you have 5-7 months worth of teeth whitening and it doesn't cost much to get refills. Overall, you get better whitening, it doesn't move around like the strips, it covers more teeth, works great with sensitive teeth (I can't even use strips for 5 min and my teeth hurt for a week!), and it is way more affordable than the strips (over time) that you have to throw out. LOVE IT! ...yet, time consuming at first.

This thing works! It's pricey but I think it's worth it. Lucky for me, I won it from a raffle. After just two tries, I can noticeably see the difference. A little awkward at first, but you get used to wearing it.

Quick Take: fantastically simple and amazing
I was hesitant to purchase this system since it was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I am so glad I decided to buy it. My teeth weren't terrible to begin with, but I could definitely tell the difference after just a couple of days. I've had several people ask me how I got my teeth so white, and I recommend the Glo system to everyone who asks....and even some that don't. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this device! If you buy this product you won't be dissapointed.
My only advise is to remember to use the lip balm that comes with it. You put it on prior to inserting the mouth piece. If you forget - your lips may become uncomfortable. Other than that, I have no complaints. I did't have any sensetivity using the gel or the device.
I looked forward to using it every day for the 5 days I used it. i'm so happy with my purchase!!!

I read all the reviews, as the instruction booklet isn't entirely clear. Thankfully Sephora has great Q&A and feedback from other users. This is what I would note since I found it unclear at first:
1. Every day you use this thing for around 35 minutes in a row. It's just broken down into 8 minute intervals. Four times in a row.
2. You take a little vial and open it up, and try to figure out how to only squeeze out 1/4th of it on your teeth each time. Not an easy task.
3. You're unlikely to get all the gel out of a vial. It is very hard to squeeze the last of it out.
4. The lip balm is super necessary - definitely use it. It helps so much.

By day 3 I could already see a noticeable difference in the whiteness of my teeth, but it has been three weeks and I believe it has already faded. I don't drink dark colas/drinks and I drink only iced coffee with a straw. No smoking, brush my teeth, blah blah blah... so I know I'll have to do to the monthly upkeep they "recommend". This is fine since I have 4 or 5 extra vials still [you are given 10] but that means in a few months I will have to order more.
If you have the money, go for it. Just read all the reviews so you know what you are buying.

This is a really awesome product. I bought it because I was so tired of white strips which always made my teeth hurt so bad and my gums incredibly sore as well. I heard about this through a friend who said it worked wonders. That's a pretty big claim. So I said..well if it doesn't work, I can always return...right? Good news; it works. Absolutely no pain or sensitivity in my teeth for the whole five day treatment. ONLY thing is if it does get on your gums or your lips...it is a bit bothersome. Just use the provided lip balm and be careful. As far as whiteness goes? It did a great job. Really made a difference. Just follow the directions 100% and you will definitely get a very noticeable result. It sucks that not many reviews provided before and after pictures..so I did. :)

Whelp, I've had this whitening system now for about a week and already notice a considerable difference. At first with the components it came with, I wasn't sure how simple it'd be to set it up, charge, plug in this to that, etc., but it was a cinch! Voila--one week later, I definitely see noticeably whiter teeth.
Everything is perfectly laid out and explained in the booklet it comes with.
It's really awesome being able to whiten from home! Glo is for sure a 5-star system!

I've completed 10 days of treatments. I did notice a whiter teeth (probably 2-3 shades); however, it isn't as white as I hope or as other reviewers have stated. There is no teeth sensitivity for the first 8 days, but I did notice a little on the last two days.

This really works. My teeth are noticeably whiter, and without any of the sensitivity I had with whitestrips. Rather than use the applicator pod, I cut it open and used a lipstick brush to paint the gel on a little more accurately. Love this, and highly recommend it.

Quick Take: easy to use whitens lightweight
I did not expect much when I bought this device. All other things I tried either did not work on my teeth or caused sensitivity. Well, even when I change my toothpaste to another brand for a few days (like when travelling), my teeth become very sensitive. I drink a lot of coffee, so my enamel was in pretty bad shape.
It took a while to charge the device, close to three hours. Luckily, the charge lasts for two full treatments (eight sessions, two days). Make sure you charge it before the third one, otherwise it will stop working in the middle of the third treatment.
Most amazingly, I noticed the results after the first day of use. My teeth became noticeably whiter, and there was no sensitivity at all up until the end of the third treatment. And it was not my teeth, it was my gums where the gel touched them. Again, it was not unbearable, I could tolerate rather well.
After the first four treatments, I am fully satisfied with the result. The color is very natural. I don't think I will be doing the last treatment, just the weekly or monthly maintenance.
I think the device is well worth the money. I would take off half-star simply because doing four treatments eight minutes each every day is a lot of hassle. For me, it took 45 minutes on average every day for the first four sessions. And you need to be very careful not to leave any spots on teeth surface uncovered, or these areas will not whiten. I tried qtips instead of the regular applicator, but I don't think it is ideal. I still managed to get some gel on my gums. By the third treatment I just decided to use one of my synthetic eyeshadow brushes. Also, I used water flosser to get the gel off my teeth after the end of every treatment. I am not sure that simply rinsing it off is effective.

Surprising Results

I love this device. I had veneers and bonding work done on my front four teeth. I was not getting the results I was looking for from drugstore products that worked before. After my first day of use I was afraid I had wasted $200 on another whitening product. However, I was wrong. By day three I noticed big results. People were starting to notice the difference and so was I. The only reason I didn't give the 5th star is because it is more time consuming than the trays and strips that I have used in the past. You are doing four, 8 minute treatments. In reality it takes about 45 minutes considering getting to the bathroom to spit, reapply the gel and clean up the mess you make during the process. Overall, fantastic product!

This really does work. It is fast and efficient. The only thing that I would caution, is by day 4, my upper gums were a little irritated,and I needed to take a break. The teeth were never sensitive. My teeth were their whitest after day 5.

What you don't find out until you read the directions is that you need to use this product 4 times in a row for 3-5 days. It has taken me 40 to 45 minutes a day to do this. Yes, my teeth are whiter, but not as white as I'd hoped. I don't think I'd invest in this again.

I bought this and have had some major dental work. One tooth was greyish due to previous dental work. I used this product and the first 3 of 4 sessions I was mostly sensitive free. I used Pro Enamel Toothpaste when I did have very slight sensitivity and it seemed to help. I have very sensitive teeth so was hesitant and it took me several months to decide to purchase. Glad I did!

Quick Take: it's not perfect but it's very good!
I've only used my new Glo Whitening Device 3 times so far and I have to say that I've already noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I believe this is an effective product for a lot of people but perhaps not everyone.
The first thing I noticed was a similar complaint that a lot of others had. The bleaching material is difficult to apply in a consistent manner and the brush at the end is not very helpful. I ended up cutting the top off including the "brush". I then dried off my teeth with with a tissue and used a q-tip to apply the solution to my teeth.
I did not experience sensitivity to my teeth although other products I previously used did cause discomfort. However, I inadvertently got some of the product on my gums and that did make my gums VERY sensitive afterward. I found this happened whether I used their brush or my q-tip. I found it helped to put a little bit of vaseline on my gums where I seemed to keep getting the whitening gel.
The instructions don't mention it specifically, but when you apply the solution, you should take care to get it on the entire tooth surface, including the edges between teeth.
The actual light device itself is a generic shape. It will not fit everyone's mouth perfectly. I don't have large teeth or a "big" smile and I found it a bit uncomfortable to wear.
Be aware that when the Glo Brilliant appliance is in your mouth and your cat sees you smiling at her, it will scare the bejezus out of her.... LOL!

Quick Take: waste of time/money/gas
After watching the Wendy William’s show and seeing this new product, I was so happy to see something on the market that might help me get rid of my yellowing teeth. I drive 60miles to check it out. Got it home, charged it up, laid out the steps and was ready to try it. Had difficulty sneezing all of the whitening gel out of the tub. Directions say use 1 tub for several treatments, but on the 3rd try, there really wasn't enough gel, so you had to use the next tub. The lip balm didn't protect the upper/lower lip area, so my mouth broke out. To top it off, the blue light that indicates GLO is charging, wouldn't shut off. I had the Night Light from H***l. Not happy. If and when you return this product, don't forget all of the parts like I did. I had to make that trip back to the store twice because if forgot the gel. :(

I purchased the glo system three months ago. I aleady had rather white teeth (in fact my dentist laughed at me when I asked her opinion about whitening my teeth) however, we all tend to be pretty critical about our own "flaws" and I wanted my teeth whiter. I noticed a difference after the set of 4 8 minute sessions. I can notice the difference each month directly after I whiten for the monthly upkeep. My only three complaints are wishing the devise was water proof so it could be used in the shower. Second, the gel is very hard to get out of the packet (I usually end up cutting it with scissors to get the remaining gel out). You have to guess how much is 1/4 of the gel packet, so the same amount of gel is used each time. I have yet to mastet this. Third, I wish the charge would last a bit longer. It is literally exactly enough to do 4 treatments and no more, but if it's not fully charged to begin with, it will not last long enough to do a full set of 4 8 minute sessions. Great idea to have the string around your neck so you don't have to hold it in your hand. I would have given this a five out of five if the only question was rather this product works, as I believe glo does what it is meant to do.
