Great iron!

I was a little skeptical at first, but I've loved every other T3 product I've ever had, so I decided to take the plunge and drop a Benji on this iron. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but after a few weeks of use, I'm very happy. It heats in a jiffy, the temperature control actually WORKS, and I find it easy use. The handle is longer than any other iron I've ever used, but I've come to really like that. I have long, fine hair, and a ton of it. It takes a curl for about 30 seconds, and then goes straight again with any other iron I ever have used. I was the queen of curling with a straightening iron, but I had to quit, due to a ton of damage on my ends. Back to a curling iron I went. With this one, I found that on the highest heat setting, with small sections of hair, and a little mousse for some extra hold, I can make Victora Secret-esque curls and waves. On the lowest setting it does a super job to give my bangs a little "poof".

Don't hesitate to buy

Due to the cost, I didn't buy this right away. I knew there where good reviews, but there were still some bad ones. I first read about this iron since Carrie Underwood swears by it. Ever since I got this, I am no longer straightening my hair. This is my go to and it is really quite simple. Watch a YouTube video on how if it isn't working for you...you must be doing something wrong. If your hair is slipping out, then you are likely putting the hair too far down the shaft of the barrel. Take a smallish amount of hair, place it in, and wrap up the barrel (so hair doesn't really overlap much), hold 5 seconds, then pull slowly down and release the iron. Don't touch your hair then for 30+ seconds to make sure cool. I like fingerbrushing through my hair for the best look. Really great product...glad I took a chance on it!

If you're looking for an amazing curling iron, look no further :) I have thick, long hair that usually falls flat within about fifteen minutes of curling it. This curling iron has my hair looking voluminous, shiny, and the curls last all night long!!! I received so many compliments when I used this on my hair, some even thought I had been to a salon ! I would have been hesitant to purchase, but I tried a friends and was IN LOVE. Whether you're buying for a gift or for yourself, this curling iron is so amazing. Reading the reviews about the clip not closing tight enough, I liked that about this product. My hair slid smoothly through the barrel rather than getting caught. It creates glamorous curls for any event, or you can run your fingers through the curls for a more beachy look. My favorite beauty purchase :)

I bought this while at Sephora without checking reviews first (which is rare) and I was super disappointed when I got home and read them. I decided to give the curling iron a try anyway since it's such a good price, and in all honestly i had ZERO problems with it. My hair looked awesome, felt awesome, and stayed curled all day. Others mentioned the clamp being too loose or catching their hair while using it. Maybe T3 noticed these problems and fixed them? If you were thinking of purchasing it but hesitant based on reviews I would say definitely purchase it, you won't be disappointed.

Pretty good curling iron

I got this curling iron about a month ago and it does a good job for me. The clamp is tight enough to hold my hair but not tight enough to put a weird looking bend at the end of my hair that other irons have done. It's light weight, hasn't burned my hair, and heats up really fast.
I know there's a lot of negative reviews for the product, but my experience has been positive. The price was more than I expected to spend, but if this lasts me the next several years, I consider this a good investment.

For $99, everything is awesome, except the clip. The closer you get the the hinge, the less it keeps hair securely in place, and the more it snags and pulls your hair out. Plus, now you have messed up curls cos it fell out of the curling iron halfway through.
I've used this for 7 months and finally decided that this can't go on anymore because getting used to this is not acceptable for $99.

I was so excited when I purchased this, mainly because the hair dryers are soooo great. The curling Iron - NOT SO MUCH. Doesn't hold curl well at all and the clamp doesn't even grasp your hair. HORRIBLE product. Definitely returning.

I picked this up at the Vegas store when I went in early July. Wasn't that great. When I went back to Vegas at the end of July I returned it. I like my curling wand way better although I wish they made the curling wand with a clip! Got a lil burn once with the curling wand, wasn't fun!

I'm so bummed to see that this product has gotten such poor reviews. At first I thought the clamp was too loose (like most of the reviews) because it definitely is not as tight at other curling iron clamps. But after getting used to it and realizing that it is very different from other curling irons, I love it. With other curling irons, you have to have a tight clamp and keep your hair wrapped around it for a good 20-30 seconds. But with this product, you really only need to hold it in place for 5 or so seconds. My hair is always shiny with beautiful curls that last all day whenever I use this!
