Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily
I love this sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky or greasy. It's great under makeup or by itself. I'm very fair (red hair), and with this sunscreen I don't burn, but I don't feel or smell like I'm wearing sunscreen on my face.

Despite the price i love the way it feels on my skin. if you apply it right then you will have no problem. some people make that mistake of rubbing it on your skin rather than padding it on your skin. i get a tan really fast and so far out of manyyy of the products i used this sunscreen is the best thus far!

Quick Take: non-greasy
I've had this for just a teeny bit over a year now so I can give an honest review. While I do love the Clarins line this just didn't do it for me. I put it on after moisturizing and it makes my skin sooo red I have to wait 20-30 minutes to calm down before I apply makeup. Others say it blends well but I disagree. I really wanted to love this product. I gave it two stars because it didn't have an overly powerful smell and was not greasy.

I got this since the Josie Maran spf 40 moisturizer can't be shipped to Canada anymore. I wear high spf every day so I like a natural (mineral) sunscreen rather than a chemical one. I love this product! It glides on so smoothly and feels silky, not greasy at all. It may look white at first but blends in nicely and feels great under makeup. I am never going back...

I typically don't like wearing sunscreen along with a day cream because it makes my normally dry skin seem like a complete oil slick, especially when followed with a makeup application. Lucky for me (not for the wallet), the folks at Clarins solved that problem!
This sunscreen has a thin, serum like consistency that sinks into the skin without any greasy residue. It works wonderfully under a slightly heavier moisturizer, and makes me feel like I'm doing a big favor to my skin by giving it a nice high SPF plus the ingredients of my day cream.
Another plus is that this sunscreen doesn't break me out, yay!
I only got a sample size but once payday rolls around, this baby will be mine!

Broke me out

Unfortunately, this sunscreen broke me out. I have acne & milia prone skin, so I have been in search of a sunscreen that does not leave my face shiny or does not break me out. I gave this to my husband & it works perfectly fine on him. It does not make your face shiny; however, It does provide a visible white cast to your skin in natural day as well...so keep that in mind.

I have very sensitive skin and combination skin type. This sun screen does a great job, unlike normal sun screen that has heavy texture. This one is lightweight, and will not give you an oily face after applying it.

Best sunblock

I love this sunblock. It does not cause breakouts and the formulation is a physical, not chemical, sunblock. The consistency is quite liquid. I find that is somewhat moisturizing so I just put on a serum, then this, combined with Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer for a little bit of pigment/coverage.

Quick Take: blends in easily, natural, non-drying
I have pretty oily skin, especially in the summertime or in rainy/humid climates. This sunscreen works quite well but I mix it with a mattifying lotion by Murad. I really like how it absorbs quickly and how my skin still feels light after using it. I still have to see in the long run how it works out, but I already love it.

Great sunscreen

I love this sunscreen, it's my favorite for every day use on my face! It has a light, non-greasy feel to it, goes on very easily & gives a bit of a brightening effect. I like the way my makeup applies over it, and sometimes I skip the primer and just use this. It doesn't clog my pores or make me break out. It has a very light scent, and I am not a fan of any fragrance in cosmetics, but I can tolerate and actually kind of like this one. With daily use (I put it on after moisturizer even on those trashed-out no-makeup days at home due to all of the windows in my home) I still have 1/2 a bottle left after about 10 months. It comes out of the bottle in thin consistency and smooths on quite easily so I just use a pea-sized amount on my hand, rub hands together & "bathe" my face in it, that seems to work the best for me. I use after treatments & moisturizer, and before primer (sometimes instead of primer). I love that this doesn't have any oxybenzone, which is harmful. This isn't very waterproof (didn't fare well when I tested on my face a the water park) but is perfect for everyday use. For those water park or swimming days in the summer I use the Shiseido SPF 38 sunscreen on my face instead (again, no oxybenzone). I have oily/combo skin (allover oil vs tzone oil w dry spots on cheeks/forehead, depending upon season) but I like a fresh, glowing & dewy look (not a greasy oily skin look!) so that is always my challenge & the Clarins performs much better for me under makeup than the Shiseido to accomplish that look. I'm also able to apply it all the way up under eyes without creating that settled-in-the-lines makeup look. This is definitely my go-to favorite sunscreen, and the expense is worth it when you see how long a bottle lasts. Of course they will give you a sample first to test out for any possible skin reactions before you buy, so I highly recommend trying it out!!

I loved the smell of this sunblock as well as how non-greasy and light it felt once I had it on. I've been looking for a mineral-only sunblock and thought I had found it, until I started breaking out, quite badly. After changing nothing except to stop using this sunblock, my skin has cleared up dramatically in two days. I think it's important to note that it makes no claim to be non-comedogenic.

I use a thin layer of this on top of my moisturizer when I'm going to be outside. It feels light, not oily, and comes in small bottle which I got for travel.

Nice texture, but I dislike that it is scented and I have to put a moisturizer underneath. At the end of the day, go with an all in one because the layers of moisturizer, SPF and foundation will break you out.

Although this blends in easily and has a high SPF, it caused me to break out in mt T-zone (acne break out) after only two days of use. I would not recommend this to a friend.
