too thick, didn't go on evenly

I have used Clarins self tanner forever, so thought I'd try this new line. The consistency is far too thick to apply evenly thus my tan was uneven. Wouldn't use it again. Also it is very expensive for the VERY SMALL amount the jar contains. I'll stick to clarins tanner for face in the bottle.

This product gives me a healthy glow when I wear it. I don't use it regularly enough to notice a long term effect. I love that I can pull it down to my decolletage and not look like I bathed in makeup. I often just wear it alone, although I also use it as a primer. It feels amazing

No tan, no glow

I have light to medium skin tone and I was hoping that this would give me at least a glow. Unfortunately, it did absolutely nothing. I used it everyday for 7 days straight but there was not even a subtle hint of a tan or glow.
After about a week of not using it, I applied it only to half of my face to see if maybe I was just not noticing the tan. Again, there was absolutely no difference.
In terms of texture, it is smooth and fairly easy to blend. It sits well alone and underneath makeup.
Overall, I am very disappointed with this product.

Just used mine for the first time I love the texture so much it's so light and whippy I compare it to the lovely texture of cover girl dream mouse products ..love the color it gives u that beachy look the color and texture n hint of dewy sheam

I love this product and just purchased my third jar. I use this cream daily. It is very smooth and doesn't have an odor. I have blonde hair and a fair complexion. It looks natural and gives me just the right amount of color so that I don't look pasty.

I applied too much the first time I used it and got a rather blotchy effect. Now I just use it every other day on the areas of my face that naturally get sun like my cheeks, nose and chin, A little goes a long way,

This little tub has enough product to warm up your skin tone for a few weeks. I used it every 3-4 days throughout the winter to help it last longer. It's only one ounce so it is a bit pricey for what it is. It DOES SMELL like sunless tanner, and since it is on your face, it is very noticeable to yourself and anyone who may kiss you.

Perfect subtle color- no orange glow

Quick Take: easy to apply, subtle
This product is perfect for a subtle hint of color to prevent that sallow winter look. It is not going to give you "week-in-the-islands" color. It's a great product if you don't like to look orange or like you have a tanning bed in your home.
If you're looking for a mega-self-tanning product, this is not it. I've been using it every day for the past month (January) and I still feel like I need it every day. It's seriously subtle, but the instant bronze is ideal for winter color. I prefer that - I used to use a different facial self-tanner and I'd catch myself in a good mirror and see the "too much fake tan" line - not for me. The self-tanner is just enough to warm your complexion. I can notice a slight difference in how my mineral makeup matches my skin, but not enough to go up a shade.
The consistency and tint are perfect for application. You can smooth it in (it's not runny) so you know exactly where it's too thick or too thin. The tint also helps with that - as you smooth it in, it blends perfectly.

When my husband came home after used it he looked at me confused and asked if I was darker! He kept hoking that i had gone yo florida bc i was tan-and not orange. Works great and gives me a noticeable tan. Down side is the smell but it was worth it. Feels nice and smooth and no weird streaks.

this stuff goes on very smooth and feels really nice on my skin however it really does nothing for the color of my face! i like my make up a bit darker than most but still this barely shows up on my med/light skin, i think it's a bit too expensive for what it is, also it smells pretty bad!

Thank goodness a little goes a long way. Love it but too spendy. very smooth and just the right hint of color. can really only give 3 stars due to expense but it is a good producet

This is an awsome product. got it as a sample then bought the full size one. gives your face a nice glow it does not look fake and is goes on my face with a nice matte finish. Non greasy!!

I received this product as a deluxe sample with something else I bought. I would have probably not ever paid $32 for facial self tanner until I tried this product. It's really worth the extra money. I use a cheaper spray tan on my body and this on my face/neck and it really does a great job of catching it up. This + bronzer = great face tan. I have received several compliments already this winter regarding the shade of my face. The smell bugged me some at first, but the silky texture of it makes up for that.

I agree with the reviewer below who said she didnt see any color. Im pretty pale right now although I do tan easily during the summer. This does go on very smooth, like silk actually, and didnt break me out. But no change in color whatsever and I used it religiously for over a week. Maybe good for VERY fair skin, I dont know, but I found it quite useless as self tanner or instant bronzer.

This product goes on smoothly and feels fine but doesn't really do much. I don't see a tan. It's frankly disappointing. I've used the Clarins Self Tanning Milk in the past & loved it. But this product is no more than just ok.

I don't tan my face, neck or chest but the rest of me sees the sun. This product was PERFECT for bringing those parts up to speed! My skin is SUPER sensitive too but it didn't break me out or dry me out - I think it was actually pretty nourishing. LOVE it and will buy regularly!
