Most moisturizers break my face out or are too drying. This one is expensive but it is AMAZING! A little goes a long way. I LOVE IT!

I got some samples of this from the store, and I LOVE IT! It absorbes very quickly and it feels very smooth and lightweight. It does have a scent to it, but it does smell very light and fragrant, which i love! Since it absorbed really quickly, my face felt very beautifully naked -- not heavy or gooey at all! I looked in the mirror after a while and I saw a huge difference -- my skin looked very healthy and radiant. I would definitely recommend getting it! WORTH THE PRICE!

I received a deluxe sample of this and instantly loved it. I loved it so much I quickly turned around and purchased a full size. It is the most I have ever spent on moisturizer but I think that it is so worth it. I have used Creme de la Mer for several months and did not notice a big difference in my skin texture. This however leaves me skin so soft and glowy. I noticed a difference after just one use. I have combination skin and I generally only use this at night or when I'm not planning on wearing makeup during the day. Its heavy and thick and even though it absorbs quickly, I found it a little heavy to wear under my makeup. At least when its warm out. There is a slight perfume smell but you don't notice after a few minutes. Most perfumes bother me but this doesn't bother me at all. Some reviewer said that the large jar is deceiving and you don't get very much for your money. Well the jar is a lot larger than the contents but I think that there is still quite a bit of creme inside. Just as much as most jars of moisturizer. And a little goes a long way so I feel like this will last me a really long time. The price is up there but I think its worth it. At least for my skin. I have found that every product from this line has been fantastic for my skin.

This product has a fragrance to it. I'm fairly allergic to smells, yet this doesn't bother me. It is light, non greasy, yet oh so costly for the amount in the jar

I received a sample of this a while ago and never used it. I ran out of moisturizer and while waiting for a new one to arrive I tried this out. I have combination skin which is also sensitive and during the winter my skin gets extremely dry. I usually use a light moisturizer on my oily areas and a heavier cream on my dry areas. It works for the most part but I still have dry patches at times. This left my skin so soft and it just glows! I love the sample so much I am ordering a full size. The price seems really high but for me it works where many others have failed. I am 33 and my skin just needs more care than it did before. This really did wonders in just a few days. I am really excited to see what else it can do after a full container's worth!! Its a creme but light enough for even the oily areas of my face. It doesn't look or feel greasy to me. There is a scent but after it absorbs, I don't really notice it at all. I used Creme de la Mer for a few months and that just didn't do anything spectacular for my skin. I really didn't see what the hype was about. This is by far the best!!

Lightweight cream with near gel-like consistency. My skin tends to get irritated with other moisturizers (incl. expensive ones), but not this one. I like that it absorbs smoothly over various serums that I use. I use this in the AM and alternate with a thicker cream in the PM.
I took one star off because it is overwhelmingly scented. I prefer light or no scents, and this is very strongly perfumed.

I have dry skin and this is by far, the best moisturizer I've ever used. My skin stays hydrated all day and a little goes a long way. This product is oil-free so it doesn't leave a heavy greasy feeling. I put it on before bed and wake up with beautiful glowing skin. I also apply it in the morning as part of my daily routine. My skin is much more radiant and even. Love love love this product!

Even though intensively moisturizing, absorbs quickly and doesn't get bitty when applying foundation. Definitely see an immediate and over time improvement in appearance of my skin: fresh, glowing. Feels great.

I got this as a deluxe sample and I love it!I I use it mainly at night over my PTR PM serum. My skin feels so smooth and so soft after I use it. It absorbs easily and doesn't just sit on my face so I could wear it under my makeup with no problem. Sephora, thank you so much for the deluxe samples and keep 'em coming! I will be buying this creme again and again.

Quick Take: intensive
I've been using this on and off for quite sometime now. It's definitely a moisturizer that I know I can always go to if my skin is feeling dry or dehydrated. I first fell in love with this when I was experiencing very dry skin, this product seemed to fix the problem. A little definitely goes a long way, and I tend to be very generous when it comes to skin care. The texture is somewhat like a paste so not only does it seem to absorb, but also kind of stays there so you have that extra hydrating protection. If you have oilier skin, I wouldn't really recommend this one since it can feel a bit "greasy" at times.
Although this cream seemed to work well for me, I am taking off one star because it's not a product that I feel like I "must" use. I've found other products that work just as well and I can also use throughout various skin fluctuations. I find that when my skin isn't as dry, this product can sometimes be a bit heavy for me.

This cream absorbs so quickly it's fantastic! i usually have to wait half an hour before putting on my make up as i'm more of a bronzer and blush girl than a foundation girl. With this cream i can do it all within 5 minutes! I was a dedicated estee lauder user for years and now I cannot live without this cream.

I have used this cream for many months now and have to say that my skin has never looked better. What amazes me most is how perfectly it takes care of my dry winter skin when up until now, no other cream would even come close to soothing my face as this does.
If there was anything negative to say, it would have to be the size of the container:when you see how large this jar is, you'd think you are getting a TON of cream, but not really. Although the jar is beautiful in it's simplicity, it is HUGE compared to what you are actually paying for. The lid is very heavy to make it seem as if you've bought a lot of cream...not so. Tiny amount for the price to be quite honest. Other than this, the product itself works great so I just try and look the other way with the price versus what you get idea.

It absorbs quickly, feels so silky going on, and is just the right amount of moisture. I love the scent, which is a plus. It is expensive, but you don't need a lot at all, so it should last a while.

I don't mind the scent and the product absorbs relatively easily but it did not provide enough nourishment/moisture for my face. I think it's suitable for sensitive skin as it helped to calm my irritated cheeks due to retin-A, but it didn't do anything else...which in my opinion, is definitely not worth the price tag.
