I was a little hesistant on purchasing this shower cleanser, mainly b.c of the smell. I was delightly suprised by the fresh and clean frangrance. It's a lovely product. I do agree with the others that the pump needs to be improved.

Quick Take: lightly scented, perfect lather, refining
This size isn't available thru The Body Shop site, so I buy it here. More than the 8oz. bottle thru them @ $8.00, but you get 13.5 oz's for $10.00.
My husband used it when he was out of his soap, and now he is in love, too. He uses it everyday, and he smells so good. : ) Great for sensitive skin, Scent isn't too strong.

I used a similar product from a friend (Mango Shower Gel) and it wasn't bad but this product does a fantastic job of leaving a light scent as well as an after affect of cleaness. I understand that many men don't really have the greatest cares on smelling like flowers or lavender but this product leaves my skin clean and has enough of a scent that isnt over-powering yet what tops it off is how smooth it leaves my skin...two thumbs up

Best shower gel , the body shop has to offer. I love this , it smells amazing. Not what expected because of its olive containing ingredients , it barely smells like olives. It feels fresh and pure , you don't need too much to get a lather going. The worst thing about this product is that the pump,it doesn't deliver enough , you have to pump it a few times to get out a good amount. I would recommend it to a friend.

I was given a Body Shop's Olive Shower Gel as a gift for my birthday, this past spring (2011). I have to admit that an olive shower gel just didn't sound very appealing, so I stuck it in the guest bathroom, and didn't even bother to try it. For some reason, it conjured up visions of an antipasto. My friend kept asking if I had liked it, and I kept changing the subject. Eventually, though, I wanted to be able to respond to her, so I finally gave it a try.
It's great. It actually has an okay fragrance and is extremely moisturizing. It makes a nice lather, and could also be used as bubble bath. While it does have a fragrance, it doesn't interfere with subsequent fragrance application. My skin was left feeling extremely clean and my legs felt a little bit more moisturized than they do with the other bath gels I usually use.
When I went to write this review, I noticed the price of this gel. It's definitely more economical than the scented ones I usually use (also sold by Sephora). The container is much larger, and the price is much lower, making this a highly effective more economical gel.

BEST SHOWER GEL by Body Shop!!! At first I thought eee-ooowww olive oil ... thinking it smells like the edible / cooking olive oil. I was wrong. BS Olive Shower Gel has a very clean scent and I am so glad I found it. I will never buy drug store soap with sodium laurel sulfate in it ever again. The beauty of BS shower gels is that the Olive and Coconut is sooo lightly scented / subtle that I can wear my perfume and the two are not competing for scents. it works, it's great. try it and you will like! Also, a lot of men I have spoken with said they love the olive shower gel as well. Again, it's a clean fresh scent.

I have used this product in the bath tub and shower. I pump two squirts under running water for a lightly freshm scent. It bubbles up very nicely for a shower gel. It creates a rich lather, which is a must for me, and leaves the skin smooth and supple. The scent is perfect for those of us who prefer natural oils versus strong perfumes. Also- great for the budget! Compared to other shower gels Sephora provides- Quanity for the price is unbeatable!

The wash itself is just as effective as the other varieties, but the scent isn't great. It's very green and has a few notes that I just don't like. I love olives but was quite disappointed with this body wash. Doesn't really smell like olive oil either. I'd recommend trying this in person before you buy.

I was in Scottsdale Az for business and the hotel water was hard so it was very harsh on my skin. Thank goodness I was right across the street from the fashion mall so I stopped by and was thrilled to see Sephora!! I have this shower gel in Mango, but it was at home, so I bought the Olive Oil, and it saved my skin!! Highly recommend this product!
