Let me share my experience :)
-09.26.12
Quick Take: misleading, unexpected
This is my very first time writing review on anything I've purchased and I am just going to share my experience with this color called "Dark Golden Blonde". The product itself is good quality. They did not dry my hair as much as other drugstore bland do, and it also came with the rich serum. But I am going to tell you about "color".
Well, first of all... it definitely is not "Dark Golden Blonde" at all. It turned out to be very orange-ish red hair with brighter roots I have never seen. Only roots came out to be Golden Blonde if you see very closely, Of course, it is just a box hair dye and I was not expecting salon quality at all. But that is why the product should say "Red Orange " not "Dark Golden Blonde". It should tell you what customers are looking for, not how they sound pretty. The picture on the box is far from what I have experienced. Although, we should all know that the box color will come out two shades darker than it says, my hair came out at least 4 shades darker. I had light brown hair but now I have deep orange red hair that I was so afraid of getting it by mistake. I admit that I am the one choose the color and decided to give a shot, however, that's only because I read what it says on the box correctly. "Dark Golden Blonde". If they mention "red" or "orange", I wouldn't have done that. FYI, I have an appointment with hairdresser tomorrow morning and I'm expecting $170 to get this mess fixed.
My advise to people out there and wanting to try this product out: 1) Do expect orange, not golden 2) Try other colors if you have any kind of brown hair 3) Do ecpect more than one box if you have length passed your shoulder, which forces you to spend $60+tax. For $20 more, you can get right color with better quality at salon.
I am sure that there are so many people that are happy with this product, but I just want the rest of people to know it might not be a better idea. Don't let your beautiful hair ruined. Take time and think what you really are going for.

Best hair color ever.
-07.29.12
I love this hair color. It's exactly the color you expect it to be. I have short hair, so I didn't use the entire formula at once. I used it twice. It also covers your gray hair. This is a product that I am going to use for now on. The money that you spend on this product, it 's actually worth it.

Was Light Brown, Now a Red Head
-07.12.12
Quick Take: misleading
WARNING: I got this color, thinking Dark Golden Blonde would cover my roots, and not lighten my hair very much, as my existing color was Light Brown, with very subtle highlights. I followed the instructions to the letter, and now my hair is a carrot-y red. I mean, I don't think the dimension of the color looks bad, there are varied depths which look high quality for what I would expect from boxed color, but the words Dark Golden Blonde are so mis-categorized, and really yields unexpected results, or the instructions need to show what to expect in a range of colors better than the pictures shown in store.

Happy Accident :D
-05.31.12
Quick Take: awesome color, unexpected results
Purchased color: Dark Golden Brown
This purchase was a happy accident for me. I usually prefer Frederick Fekkai's hair color when I am in need of retouching my roots. Much as I love Fekkai, I had to search for an alternative since I just found out that Fekkai's hair color range has been discontinued.
Luxeblend's Dark Golden Blonde transformed into the perfect Golden Brown color on my dark hair. Amazingly, this is the perfect brownish shade that I have been looking for since forever.
The only downside was the texture of my hair after coloring it. It wasn't the soft feel that I was used to with Fekkai.
The perfect shade outcome for me plus the fact that it is ammonia-free (expect some coconut-esque scent when applying) makes this product an awesome & unexpected find. :D

Better than salon color!
-05.11.12
Quick Take: amazing
I've only had my hair colored professionally so I was nervous about buying a box color. This dark golden blonde was a PERFECT match to my natural hair color. It covered my grey completely. There was no bad odors. In fact, the process smelled good! I'm pleased with this product and I'll be back when it's time to recolor!!!

Happy With This Product
-02.23.12
Several reviews complain that the color is darker than it appears to be on the box. It was always my understanding that, if you have medium brown hair, and apply a dark blonde color to it, it WILL look darker than the picture on the box because the color you're starting out with is darker.

Color poor on grey
-11.02.11
Quick Take: disappointing
I was very disappointed with Couture Colour. I picked a dark blonde to match my own hair. My hair is very thin with a large portion of grey on the crown - this product seems to make my hair noticably thinner. While this product seemed gentle with a non-amonia smell, it still seemed harsh on my hair ends - which were left frizzy. The color on the grey was very redish, almost pink.

The reviews don't lie....
-10.17.11
Your hair WILL be darker than the picture on the box! I was going for a medium reddish brown, so after reading lots of other reviews I chose Dark Golden Blonde and got what I was after (my hair is normally an icky mousy brown). This was my first time coloring my own hair, and it was easy to do and looks just as good as what I was getting from the salon. I did it almost 3 weeks ago and still have great gray coverage. Like the oil treatment. I will do this again!

Couture Colour
-09.28.11
I give this product 3 stars because 1st: you must select a color that is one to two shades lighter than you want, because it will turn out darker than you want. I chose dark golden blonde, and it came out my natural medium to dark brown. 2nd: It does smell nice and have some nice oil that comes with it, however it didn't feel any softer or less damaged than when I use lower priced drugstore dyes. And 3rd: If you don't want your hair too dark, don't leave it on the full 30min unless you have grays. I don't have any gray hair so I only left it on for 15 minutes and it still came out darker than I expected. Overall it is nice, but I don't think it deserves the lofty price tag.

I adored this product. Well worth money spent! Extremely good quality and would recommend this product to anyone! The difference between buying a standard hair color and buying this product was like night and day. Great product, would buy again in a second!

Great Product, Darker than Advertised
-08.02.11
I really wish I had read the reviews before tryng this product. It's lovely, easy-to-use, my hair feels great, and you can't go wrong with getting a quality product for the price, but the colour definitely came out much darker than expected. My hair is naturally dark ash blonde and I expected it to come out the same shade but warmer, but it is now definitely a medium golden brown. I would have chosen the shade lighter had I read the reviews first.

Quick Take: amazing!
was skeptical at first but it does exactly what the product claims, now that's a first for me, "ammonia free" was what had me wondering, now I want to go lighter! I wonder how long I have to wait before dying it again. wouldn't want to end up with green hair you know? any tips?

-07.27.11
Quick Take: good haircolor
I bought this hair color because I have enough gray that semi permanent wasn't working anymore. I have fine, wavy hair that is oily at the roots & dry on the ends. My hair is medium brown and the dark golden blond was the color I bought based on reviews. This color was a little lighter than my current color, but definitely still brown. It didn't damage my hair and the color is not fading a lot (it's been 2 weeks & I have been in the pool & the beach). I just bought it, again & would recommend it.

-07.26.11
Quick Take: the best for fragile hair!
I was a bit skeptical but after using the pequin oil, I fell in love! I have very fragil hair and had processed it maybe about a month before, so was curious to see how the "amonia free" colour would work, I'm in love, although I'm tempted to go a shade lighter! I wonder how long I have towait to dye it again?
